Top ways to experience similar attractions

The area
Address
Neighborhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
How to get there
  • Sala Daeng • 3 min walk
  • Si Lom • 4 min walk

A magical 500 hours yoga teacher training changed my life
Jul 2019 • Business
I did my 500 hr Yoga TTC in Embrace Energy Yoga School
in March 2019 and it was one of the most rememberable times in my life. I went there with not much expectation, I came to Thailand and choose this yoga school while I was there, I was looking at different schools and this one was by far the most interesting school for me, as I had immediately a feeling of trust in this yoga school. While talking to the teacher, I directly knew that this is the yoga school where I want to go to and I m more than happy that I ended up in this school. All the teachers welcomed me as a part of their family, all of them really care about you and they always want to make sure that you feel good. Whatever issues or questions you may have, you can always talk to them. For me, it felt like being in a new family for 10 weeks and I still cant describe my thankfulness and happinnes towards Embrace Energy yoga school and the whole team. Everyone is so compassionate, loving and caring. It was very hard to leave this family at the end and I will always come back. Thank you so much for everything !
And for the rest I can say, that the program they offered was amazing, it was challenging in a very good way, the yoga classes were the best I ever had in my life ,they really want you to leave this school as a new person, with new knowledge and as a better person to share this knowledge to the world. I m so happy for everything I ve learned there, thanks again to the amazing teachers! This 10 weeks were very intense and transformable, they changed a lot in me in a good way and I m so grateful and happy that I could make this experience in Bangkok near Great yogis from India ,Yogi Lalit and Master Eddy and another teachers are so kind and They always help us to improve my practice . in Embrace Energy Yoga school, which is full of blessing and lots of happiness Thank you so much, Namaste 🙏🙏🙏.

Great Yoga school
Aug 2019
My 200hrs TTC in Embrace Energy Yoga school was a wonderful journey. In addition to the lovely staff and friendly environment; the instructors were very professional, had a vast knowledge about Yoga and knew how to help and guide students. I learnt a lot while enjoying every moment of my time there. I hope to manage going back again and continue my study there.

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Oct 2018 • Solo
This is the third time to visit and finally decided to get my Yoga teacher 200 hour Certificate, after doing yoga in Vancouver, which seems to be the hotbed of Yoga in North America, with Lululemon having the lion share of respect for pioneering Yoga in Vancouver, I decided I wanted a more authentic original DNA of Yoga from an original teacher, who's 10 generations of ancestors are from Risikesh, India, the Capital of Yoga .

And I am so glad I did.

Conspiracy Theorists Teaching Unsafe Yoga in Broken English
May 2018 • Solo
The teachers at this school have insane beliefs that they will make you listen to day and night. During my school, the lead teacher told us that we used to all be giants with tails, that if you suck on gold it will heal cancer, and tons of other crockery. Along with this, they do not listen to logic, science, or facts. They believe their insane theories and insist on teaching their students this hogwash.

Even worse, everything is either taught in broken english or in Thai. This was supposed to be an English speaking school and 50% of our teachers only taught in Thai!

This school teaches that yoga should be slow and steady and that we should listen to our bodies, yet the lead teacher often pushed students past their limits. I saw half the other students in my school cry at one point due to disrespect and/or bring pushed too hard. Students were not able to relax or listen to their breath, because they were left panting and shamed for not being able to measure up to other students. This is not how yoga should be taught and is very unsafe and demeaning.

Overall, I'm very disappointed that this school is Yoga Alliance Certified and I hope that no one else wastes their money on this place.

Yoga Therapy
Dec 2016 • Solo
Really knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful staff. Nice clean, comfortable, air conditioned studio with mats and props provided. Instruction in English and hands on assistance. Quite a workout, but I left with an uplifting feeling. My soreness and stiffness was melted away. Staff are friendly and willing to chat after class.
