Been using this place for a decade and all I’ve seen is the quality and customer value go down and prices go up. This place used to be somewhere you could meet friends, have a good training session at a reasonable price and even stay after for a decent, meal at a sensible price. The food and drink prices are extortion - 85 baht for a machine made instant lukewarm coffee !! Ball trays equally highly priced. Waitresses are disinterested in serving you and it goes on and on. Really not a happy place it once was and just on customer service / value and affordability alone need to find a new place

Sadly their new members only policy at weekends and public holidays means I won't be using the range again. It is a stupid policy that does nothing to help regular users and discriminates against one off or occasional users.

Made the journey to the driving range this morning hoping for some practice while on our 1 day visit to Bangkok but was told we had to join as members for 100baht & put a minimum credit of 1000bht on our member card!
Asked if we could only pay for 1 time...answer no!
No mention of this on the website...so don’t make the journey if your not able to use your 1000bht credit in 1 go!

I have been here a few times. You can rent golf clubs for about 100 Baht each and a bit more for a driver. 50 balls is about 60 Baht.
Mats and balls are good and range is long enough 200m +.

Have been using this range for more than a decade. It wasn’t a great place to start with but just that it is conveniently near to where I live. But my annoyed me was my most recent few encounters which spark my urge to share this review. Just to mention my most recent encounter, I came back to the range on the 2nd day when they resume business from temporary closure for a good 40 days due to the lockdown on COVID situation. With that, my membership top-up value card only left with 2weeks before the expiry date. I checked with one of staff what if I can’t finish using the value by the expiry date, would they extend the expiry date given such situation? Answer is ‘Top-up another 1,000 baht’. How convenient is that for the Management to extort money from the customer?! The Management of this place clearly do not value add nor think of the interest of their customers. All they are interested is to make all the money they possibly could from their customers! There are also a few other encounters which I have had when the Management would conveniently expect the customers to forego the existing credit in the top-up card on no reasonable ground! In short, if anybody were to lose the money, is the customers, period! I have to go through the pain, urge and reasoning with them until they eventually accede to my request. But why made your customers go through such unpleasant experience when all they ask for is to be treated fairly?? Customers’ money need to be treated fairly and justly too. Not to be taken for granted!
Apart from the expensive golf ball and drinks charges, the Management collect a minimum of 1,000 baht up-front when you walk in to use the range facility. And yes, this place is not for one time user! So if your can’t finish using the credit or forget to top up with more cash to extend your expiry date within the 2 months, there goes your balance to the Management. Does that sounds like daylight robbery to you?
Lastly, my advice to the public is, ‘Avoid this place if you can unless you don’t mind being taken advantage of and throwing your money there’.

42-Tee Off is a good driving range on Sukhumvit Road.

This was my first time going to a driving range. Im not a big fan of golf and don't take it seriously at all. I wasn't sure I would enjoy this activity or not.
It is in between the prakanong and ekkamai bts stations.
As soon as you walk in the staff tell you to go upstairs.
The place has 2 levels where people hit from but the club rental is upstairs.
You can either rent a bag of clubs (?฿), a small wedge driving thing (100฿ or a bigger chunkier driver (200฿). The Thai guy in the store speaks good english and helps you select.
Then you get a tray of balls which is 100 baht. I can't remember but it was quite a lot of balls.
We went at around 12pm and the sun was not in our eyes at all but behind us. After reading another review I thought that might be an issue but not at all.
There is no time limit on your time or payment for your space only the balls and club.
They do offer some drinks. Coffee was a bit rough.
They maybe have food too but not sure. My friend saw a tray of sauces but we didn't see the menu.
So anyway, I found myself enjoying this more than expected. It is just as much as a social way to get together with a friend than it is about golf. We sat and talked in between hitting balls.
I only saw a few staff girls and no guys or staff asking for "tips" at all.
Service was ok although one of the girls was a bit abrupt although not rude.
There are fans to cool you down a bit.
It was an enjoyable time. We were probably there for an hour and a half and went through 2 trays of balls each.
The hitting area is all undercover so if it were to rain I don't think it would matter that much.
I would go again.

It opens 7am-10pm everyday and 9am - 10pm on Monday. I was there before 12pm so had a good session. I hear after 12pm, the sun is directly in front so not good time to hit balls. Its a little short (230 yards) but who cares, u get to hit balls. Its very close to BTS station Phra Khanong (2 minute walk).
As for other hitting ranges in Bangkok. As of Jan 2019, only two remain. All Star Golf and 42-tee off. 247 and RCA have shutdown completely.
Also, the tee at 42-tee off is a little low, kinda hard to hit the driver but some ppl managed to do it.
They charged 100 baht for each tray.
ENjoy ur stay.
