I hired to do the Erawan waterfalls tour, where the arrangement was to arrive at the waterfall at 11 am and return at 4 pm, I arrived at 12:45 pm and I was forced to leave the waterfall at 4:30 pm. I hired a 5-hour tour at the waterfall and stayed less than three hours, which is three hours to arrive and three hours to return I spent more time on the road than at the waterfall, it wasn't enough that the van drivers are terrible at the wheel, they don't they know how to maintain a continuous acceleration, they hit the accelerator and then they hit the brake, it looks like you're on a boat going back and forth all the time. WORST WALK I MADE IN MY LIFE!

A very decent ride to Chiang Mai

We took the overnight bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and don't have any complaints. Pick up location is easy to find. We got a bottle of water and a snack + a warm meal at about 1 am. The meal is certainly not so special but if you're hungry, it'll do. You get blankets as described and it's relatively comfortable. We haven't used the toilet onboard so no comment on that. We were late about 30 minutes, so that was just fine and we had a transfer to the city as well. So all in all we would recommend it.

Very decent for price
Feb 2020 • Couples
We travelled from Bangkok to Chiang Mai on the overnight bus. Pick up near Khoasan Road at their office = good/easy location. We booked via agent but looks like you can DIY at the main office (not sure if cheaper?). Allocated seats on check in so no mad rush for decent seats, bus arrived on time outside office- no need to get a minibus elsewhere. Seats reclined enough, got a snack, bottle of water and simple meal at the stop off inc in the price. Also the wifi worked - didn't use the onboard toilet so cannot comment. The bus smelled a bit diesely but I'm sure all do- couldn't smell the toilet. We arrived in Chiang Mai on time. They had free transfer to town inc in price but we headed straight to Pai (DIY so easy to get a minibus yourself upon arrival don't pay an agent!) Overall would use again but seems from other reviews that it could be a bit hit and miss

Literally the worst bus journey in Thailand ever! Was supposed to depart at 8pm from Bangkok, but didn’t leave until 8:45pm. We were told we would stop for food between 11pm/12am. It is currently 1:28am as I write this review and we still haven’t stopped. We have not been allowed to get off the bus at all, even during the 3 stops the driver has made (one lasting 30mins) to go to the toilet.

Whenever we ask any questions, there is an angry woman who just tells us “NO” to any request.

The toilets are disgusting!!! Worse then any London Club, Public Toilet or Festival Port-a-loo.

Avoid this company like the plague!!!

Let’s hope we eat soon!

Horrible service!! 28/12/2019 bus from bangkok to koh Samui suppose to leave @20:00...made booking online and this company was the last choice because others are full. In the description it's said come to the counter 30 minutes before to convert your voucher... Vip bus.. Blanket.. Well arrived earlier before 6pm and the staff refused to covert the ticket saying to come back at 7pm...back again and lots of people... They will call based on destination, online reservations mixed with direct booking, only 1 window. The time has passed the staff keeps telling "20 minutes".. The bus arrived almost midnight, they didn't give drinks while we were waiting, no food, just regular bus without electronic plugs, cannot charge my phone, was cold and no blanket as advertised.

Probably our worst experience in Thailand. Bus is horrible. Toilets not working on what is advertised as an 7 hour trip (allooooot longer trip at the speeds the bus is able to go) the buss smells like strong pee, clearly something wrong with the tires, when braking the buss almost shaking apart and engine can barely get it up hills. Seatbelts not working in most seats and the seats ruined.
We are now 2 hours in to the trip and trying to get of it and take a train...

Disgracefully poor service- do not use if stuck for time (flights etc)

After 3 months travelling South East Asia and using numerous transport services can safely say this was the worst and the only one we found it necessary to comment on.
To start, we booked a few weeks in advance- Bangkok to Koh Samui. We got a confirmation but no emails explaining the service, travel time etc. The confirmation said to arrive at the pick-up point 30 minutes before departure. We happened to arrive 1 hour before our scheduled departure at 8pm. It seems a number of their buses depart at the same time. There was a queue 150m down the street. I went to ask a driver if we needed to check in if we already had bought tickets (there were no other staff members around). He shrugged. In the end a passerby in the street helped me. My husband was already in the queue thankfully as you do have to check in, regardless of whether you've bought a ticket already or not. Seemed bizarre but okay. We stood in that queue outside for 1 hour and 55 minutes. When we got to the top of the queue there were 4 people behind the counter. One was serving, two were stapling the tickets together (two person job apparently) and the other was literally just sitting there. Completely inefficient check-in. We eventually departed at 9.35pm, 1 hour and 35 minutes after scheduled. The bus was a "VIP service". We were given a small bottle of water, some cookies and a blanket. The blanket smelled bad, as though it hadn't been cleaned. The seats are significantly smaller than any other buses we have used so when the person in front reclines, it becomes very uncomfortable. The toilet started to really smell after about 40 minutes and wafted around the bus for the rest of the journey. 55 minutes into the journey, we stopped for petrol- apparently the extra 1.5 hours delay still wasn't enough time to prepare the bus in advance. We stopped once more for the driver to use the bathroom and again for one of the other staff to empty something off the bus (presumably the tank for the toilet but I can't be sure). At 2.40am, all the lights went on indicating we were stopping at a rest stop, no-one said a word just turned the engine off and people started getting out. No indication of how long we had there so we could predict if we had time to order food or not. Most of our stops in Asia have been 15-30 minutes so we went to the toilet, bought some water and got back on the bus, as did most of the passengers. 1.5 hours later there was still no sign of the driver. We were grateful at least that he left the air conditioning on for the duration of the stop but 90 minutes in the middle of the night on an already delayed service is ludicrous. We continued driving and just before 8am stopped again, this time in the middle of a highway. Someone got out to pump the tyres. At no point were we offered a meal as stated.

Overall all it was a dismal service, the biggest flaw being lack of organisation and time keeping. We had booked a ferry to take us from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan at 11pm. We were due to arrive in Samui at 8.30am, thinking 3 hours would be plenty of time. By 10.10 we only just reached the pier on the mainland. Obviously we missed our next ferry. We had to buy new tickets and wait 4 hours for another boat. Feel very silly to have trusted their timetable but their lack of care for their customers is excessive, even for SEA

If you can, just fly. There's little difference in the price and not enough to make the experience of travelling with Thai Sriram worth it.

The original arrival time was 6am but actually the bus arrived at 7:30am! I know buses can delay but 1.5 hour delay is just unacceptable.
