Strange place but somehow fascinating. If you like to jump in the past then this is your place. Old logos, old furniture and not much going on.

I first heard of this shop a couple years ago, and kept meaning to check it out, and finally did. Reviews and discussion were split on whether it was a fascinating place that's well worth visiting, an old department store version of time travel, or...More

After reading an article about the shop I wanted to visit, the article talked about 7 floors which I assume were open in its heyday. However that’s long since passed and there’s now only 2 floors open with a barrier across the stairs on the...More

Depending on whether or not you are superstitious, there may be something to look into over the fact that the footage we took was corrupted after visiting (spooky!). The staff are rude, I genuinely don't understand why they have more than one or two staff...More

Strange place, worth a stop in and look around. It appears a 1960's dep't store froze in time and is still open (cue up the Rod Sterling music). The merchandise, fixtures, etc are all there. A few sales ladies will apparently sell you the items...More

This place is something else. Just extraordinary. A time warp - literally like walking back 50 years as you go through the door. Seemingly though still functioning as an actual store - lots of staff and new price tags on things. But everything on show...More

If you're interested in the unsettling then this is the place for you! You are greeted by the most hideously amazing mannequins and the place is just down right creepy. There were only 5 or so employees on the shop floors and even though they...More

It is a department store that is locked inside a time warp with everything on sale dating from the 1950s and 1960s (see pics). I was told off for photographing inside, which was warranted as there are 'no photo' signs everywhere even though I genuinely...More
