Jao Ho Street has become a secondary road and the business has also declined. Therefore, the government set up a night market in 1987. It is the second tourist night market in Taipei.

I loved visiting this market. It was very interesting watching the food stands, people walking around and all the little things people were selling. The food was so good and very cheap. I highly recommend visiting at least one of the night markets while you're...More

When you go to Taiwan, visiting a night market is a must! Many people will go to the most popular one, i.e., Shilin night market. Great choice, but I think Shilin night market is too touristy and commercialized (my own opinion of course) and food...More

As most night markets in Taiwan, the food is amazing and cheap. However it tends to crowd a lot during the weekends so be careful of your bags. I highly recommend this for all traveler especially if you are a foodie!!

Loved the food. Spent 2 hours there and tried the tasty local food. Except for the weather which is slightly humid, otherwise it's a great night out (of a different kind)

Nice night market. Plenty of street food and shops, clothes, jewelry, toys and other. Prices are OK, food is good too. Nothing you can't see in similar market.
