Ride to top on sunset

This was a great trip to the top of the mountain we did on sunset. Great idea and at the top is lots of restaurants who cook their dishes in the local teas.

Riding the cable car is a must if you plan to go and explore maokong mountain :) they have friendly staff, they will suggest places to visit. when you reached maokong mountain be sure to explore the place. Walking is okay or bike riding. You get to breathe fresh air, explore different types of tea (visit their tea museum) and... More

Markets had a great feel to them and the views are amazing! We used the Gondola to get up there but if you aren't keen on heights there is a road that runs through so a taxi up would be simple enough.

It's the real nature. To see the tea farms in the middle of the mountains is not a regular view. Take cup of tea in these green mountains. Visit very nice temple's in the Maokong mountain. You will find 3 nice temple's. In addition, in the top of the mountain you will find food stores like in night markets. In... More

Very nice view of the city and also easy to get to by taking the MRT. The gondola trip is the best where one has a choice of regular or glass bottom.

Nothing to see at the top of the mountain, just have a cup of tea and come back as soon as possible since there is not that much to see or do.

Take the gondola up to Maokong and enjoy the views. The Crystal Cabins with glass floors are well recommended! Once you reach the top, go right and follow the signs to 樟山寺, Zhangshan Temple. The trail is scenic and makes for a good hike. Once you reach the temple, enjoy a full view of Taipei City. You will not regret... More

When in Taipei don't miss visiting Maokong mountain. The views across Taipei are magnificent from the gondolas taking you up and across the mountain to Maoking.
