Hot spring here are simply very enjoyable. They have public and also private pools for your choice. We tried the private ones and were enjoying the hot spring.

I was really looking forward to this, but it wasn't really as I expected but maybe that's because we went to the public area. I think there are private hot springs available, but my family didn't participate/ask about it. You have to wear a bathing suit to go into this hot spring (btw, if your swimming trunks have belt loops,... More

There are many places that offer hot spring spa all year round, public and private. You do not have to stay for the night. The best arrangement would be a spa followed by a meal in one package.

As you walk on Zhongshan road towards thermal valley most of the hot spring hotel are located on the adjacent Guangming road. Note that the Themal Valley open from 9-5pm and is closed on Mondays. If you want to just go to the thermal valley and do a private dip at the spa hotel and a drink thereafter, 3-4 hours... More

it's an interesting place to visit. You can see the source of the hot spring and enjoy spa for a very cheap price. Of course there are luxurious spas as well, but even if u're a low-budget traveler, there are cheap public spas where you can enjoy spa only for 2-3 dollars. Also it's easily accessible with the metro.

It's a really nice place if you have time to spend half day. Suggest to use spa facility after hot spring ( ask for private use bath)

Another best place in Taipei best for hot real hot springs and relaxing body massage. There are so many massage parlors and fake spa shops in City but you can ask for help of any local people or find out on Internet to choose the best one. Usually they charge you from NT$ 2500 up depends up on what is... More

It's a must if you are in Taipei. Very relaxing experience and could easily spend half a day here. We ended up going to Beitou Hot Spring Hotel for a private experience, which was worth every penny. Highly recommend it!

There are two popular hotsprings in Beitou, one is the public one, similar to swimming pools, not recommend to go in the morning because it is always crowded with elderly since they can enjoy the hotspring for free. Another hotspring is in Japanese style, beware of the extremely high temperature, and old ladies inside are very helpful and passionate to... More
