Beautiful place for a walking or having a picknic. It is near Tainan train station so it's convienient to reach the place. Just be aware of bats at night!

The lake is surrounded by lots of Temples , It has a lovely market early morning where you can get delicious fruits and great vegetables. It is worth a stroll. Train from Tainan leaves you 0,5 km. close

A great place for a casual walk changing buses in the middle of a busy day; the pond in the center is full of aquatic animals & quite scenic. There are some interesting trees preserved very well.

We went for a walk around. Nice lake and very oriental. But we missed the flowers festival thou. Hope next time when we visit, there'll be some other fascinating events bringing Taiwanese cultures to the world. My tips: Going around for some nice dessert or milk tea shops near by (if you prefer urban treat).

One of the nicer parks I have been to in Taiwan. It's cool when the weather is hot, so there will always be people there relaxing, exercising, and playing games. Good for an evening stroll.

I noticed this park was number 1 on sights in Tainan, so I figured it must be impressive! The park is nice, not doubt about that. But it is just a small park, with a pavillion in a small pond and some trees. But go there to relax (or jog) and have some quiet time from the bustling city.

My wife grew up on Kai Shan Road, just six blocks from the south end of Tainan Park. In 26 years, she went there only three times. Life was different two generations ago. The park is different too. At that time, people of Tainan were often reluctant to go there at night because of the ghosts of those who drowned... More

This is a medium sized park in the center of Tainan . It has some nice walkways over a small lake/pond and some areas to picnic . There are plenty of covered areas to sit and it's a nice place to have a drink with friends and chat . You couldn't exactly spend all day here , but it would... More
