Annapurna Base Camp Trek
This program affords a fine opportunity to surround oneself with major Himalayan peaks, in a relatively short span of time, without having to contend with extreme altitudes. The trail goes northwest from Pokhara and along the Modi Khola directly north right into a natural amphitheater of high mountains.

Hiking Sightseeing in Pokara Day Trip
Pokhara is Nepal's number 1 adventure and leisure city, a trekking gateway to the Annapurna's with plenty of entertainment for individual travelers as well as families with kids. In Pokhara you can experience the best in trekking, boating, hiking, pony rides, paragliding or simply relax at one of the lakes near the city with the stunning Annapurna mountain range at the background.
Pokhara will overwhelm you with one of the greatest photo spots in the world. While you walk along the shores of the Fewa lake you will be surrounded by a panoramical view over the Himalayan peaks of the Annapurna Massif that reflect in this lake. A beautiful color combination that is created by the wooden boats and paragliders that are sailing, flying and rowing over the lake is probably going to be one of the highlights of your travel experience in Nepal.

Review of: Dhampus - Australian camp Hike
For those who do not have enough time to trek or for someone whose a beginner. This is one trekking route you should go for, it’s achievable and most importantly worth it. - an hr drive from lakeside to kande (1200 NRS) normal cab or one could even try the local bus Starting point kande: hike up to dhampus (2 hr slow walk) lunch at dhampus which offers various cuisine. After an hr of spending time at dhampus hike up to Australian base camp (90 min of slow walk) You have plenty hotels there but the one to go for is the angels guest house. The mountains are lovely and close. The entire experience was so nice and worthy. Tip: because the trail is for beginners a guide isn’t necessary Stay at the angels guest house Book your hotels beforehand.…

Review of: Nagarkot - Chhangunarayan Sunrise & Day Hike
My friend and I were very excited to do this adventure and enjoy the beautiful nature and mountainscapes of Nepal. We were expecting to be joined by other travellers, but were not, which meant our tour was from a car instead of the bus or van that we expected. While that is no one’s fault, it did make the drive rather bumpy and uncomfortable, and not for someone who experiences car sickness. On top of the expensive tour cost, we were told there was a fee to enter the sunrise viewpoint and wished that had just been included in what we already paid online since we weren’t equipped with the amount of rupees needed. The actual sunrise was nice to look at, and the breakfast was fine. The “hike” was not a hike. We travelled through multiple small villages which were mainly on driveable roads when we had anticipated to be travelling through more forested or nature areas. In the “what’s provided” section of this tour it says that hiking gear is included, which to us meant the tour company would provide walking sticks, shoe picks, or even a water bottle, none of which we were offered. We saw some nice scenery, but weren’t given a ton of information on what was around us, we asked lots of questions and the guide answered them as quickly as possible without providing additional facts or offering other information about the area. Overall, we did not think this tour was worth the $106 we each paid. We think the tour as it was would have maybe been worth $50. Both of us have booked tours with trip advisor in the past and this is nothing like the experiences we’ve had in the past which have been phenomenal and exactly what was described in the tour specifics. We would urge trip advisor to revise the tour description and price of the tour to reflect what it is really worth.…

We were fortunate enough to do 2 hikes with Birodh as our guide through Green Leaf tours. Shilendra was also a guide on our second tour with Birodh. They made our experience great with lots of knowledge of Nepalese culture, religion and food! Both guides were friendly and accommodating on both hikes. We took it at our own pace and were given lots of options to suit our level of hiking. We were given great recommendations on how to spend our spare time in Nepal and places you must visit. These hikes were the highlights of our trip and you need to check out the tours available with this company. We also had the option of additional extras at the end of the hike. …
