It's this kind of things that you have in your list, but you don't know how to make true. So they help you to. Amazing staff (thanks suresh and suhana) that take care of you in every moment, making you feel safe. Highly recommend to take the option with photos and video that they will help you to take with a go-pro. If you go to Pokhara, don't miss it!

The experience was fantastic. The cost was about a $100 USD (including pics and videos). I decided to try this over the zipline, as the zipline cost the same for just a 2 min rush. This was on the other hand, a long peaceful, 30 min, airtime with spectacular sights. There were eagles flying around us. The thrill of seeing that and soaring up with them..it made me feel like Gandalf a bit! lol My pilot was Igor and he was great, friendly and put in a lot of effort to ensure that I was not feeling dizzy or uncomfortable. The half hr flew by and I had a great time. The views were amazing. The initial bit, where one needs to run up to the edge of a hill, is a bit nerve wrecking, but once you take off, the rest of the flight path is smooth and safe. Its worth your time, keep half a day just for this. The flight may be half an hr, but the entire experience takes about three hrs (delays are common due to weather and Nepali standard time...similar to Indian standard time)
The only part that I did not like, was the fact that the paragliding agency , in spite of promising to provide a free hotel transfer to all tourists, did not keep up their end of the offer. I do not know the reason why that happened. They did try to cut down on costs perhaps and the office staff offered to drop me back to my hotel on a motorbike. I blankly refused and I made it clear that I would need to speak to a manager if they ask me to get on a bike with a stranger on a road in Nepal. I think they understood from my tone, that they cant mess around and I got dropped off by paragliding agency's official car to my hotel safely. I had felt safer up in the sky.
.
The paragliding experience is great, so dont be put off. Be careful especially if your travelling alone. Make sure you have emergency numbers and hotel staff numbers to contact for anything. It may have been nothing, but its best to be careful everywhere.

Every time I visit Nepal, I always go pokhara with my friends. The must do thing in pokhara is Paragliding. It's a another level of adventures.
The view of pokhara and Phewa Lake from top is amazing. I loved it.
Cost of this is about $100 per person.

Five of us signed up for the paragliding with Sarangkot Paragliding, and our experience were all different, it will greatly depends on which pilot you were assigned to. Some of the pilots will make sure you enjoy the ride and take good pic but some will just make sure he finished his job and landed on time.
On our way back to the office, 13 of us were squeezed into a jeep and lucky that the journey is short, but it's good enough to numbed both of my legs

Such an incredible experience! This was my first time tandem paragliding and I was so appreciative of the friendliness of the staff and especially my pilot, Rocky. His super friendly nature enabled me to relax and completely enjoy the experience.
The views were amazing and the sensation of gliding peacefully over the mountains was surreal. Towards the end of the session we did some tricks which really got the adrenaline pumping. Such a memorable experience and highly recommend Sarangot Paragliding.

Great company and pilot. Amazing views of Annapurna range, the lake and town. GoPro pics and video downloaded right to my phone included! Go early as the mountains get cloudy in the afternoon.

Paragliding through the Himalayas is a must-do activity for anyone visiting Nepal. Seeing the topography from a birds-eye view after having trekked its land is just fabulous as you'll get to whole new level of appreciation for the gorgeous mountains lined with little villages' agricultural terraces. Doing it over the Phewa Lake is a huge plus!
Hours before I was booked to go paragliding, I injured my knee. The staff were very accommodating when I told them that I would need an experienced pilot who'd let me take it easy on the run down the steep hill. The wind wasn't in our favor and so I assume he had to do even more work to get us smoothly up in the air. Landing was also very smooth and he made sure there was no impact on my knee; I effortlessly stepped back on to the ground - no fall, no thud.
The pilots said the low wind conditions were delaying their take offs so we took off over an hour or so from when we were originally scheduled to. It's apparently common so I'd highly suggest anyone build in such factors in their scheduling.
The pilot used a GoPro to record my glide on video and seemed very adept at taking fun shots that captured the different views from all angles. The images were amazing!

They picked us up from our hotel and were instantly friendly, funny, and informative. We went to the their office in town to fill out paperwork briefly, and were on our way up in to the mountains. I had never been paragliding before, though had been sky diving years ago. Our paragliding pilots and staff did a great job of getting everyone excited for our excursion, and of helping ease our fears of flying. We were quickly briefed on how to fly, and within 10 minutes were up in the sky, soaring with the eagles. We had great weather for our flights and were able to ride the gusts higher and higher, into and then above the clouds. Though one of my favorite parts was decending over the lake, and doing spins and tricks before landing. Absolutely worth every moment of anticipation or fear, and every last rupee. They give you free video and pictures from your experience!

This was my fourth flight with Sarangkot over Sarangkot (this time with Rocky) & it gets better every time. Flights are usually about 20 minutes, but I booked an extended flight, which lasted about an hour. Flew really high and had fantastic clear views of the mountains. Highly recommended & these guys know what they're doing as they're up there twice a day.
Best not to eat momo for breakfast (stick to toast!), especially if you want to try the acrobatics at the end (they will offer but it's your choice).
