I came here by motorbike from central Pokhara. You can also visit Devi's fall and Mahadev cave on the way. The road to the World Peace Pagoda is pretty steep and your riding skills will be tested. Not recommended for inexperienced riders. There is a parking area with restaurants and souvenir shops. You will need to climb a set of stairs to get to the pagoda. Once you get to the top, you will be rewarded with a marvelous view of the mountain range.

Wonderful views - need to get a ride there - too far from Pokhara. Also note that once you get to the parking area it is still a ten minute climb.

Also check on cloud cover before going if you want a view.

We visited early morning, without a sole around, the Peace Temple is very majestic, you are required to limit or refrain from talking, and photography and videography is not permitted (although other visitors that arrived were clicking away).
If fortunate enough, on a clear day you can see 360 views of Pokhara town and Fewa Lake and even the iconic Himalayan mountain range in the distance.
There is a winding ascent and descent to the temple, that has an array of stalls and coffee houses, mostly catering for the tourist trade.
Overall, well worth a visit.

This beautiful peace pagoda is not to be missed. The views are awesome on a clear day. We drove up and then hiked down to the lake (about 1 hour). Highly recommend!

It is wort to climb up the hill to World Peace Stupa. World Peace Stupa was built as a symbol of peace, situated at the height of 1100 meters on the Anadu Hill. To get there was beatiful view you can use a taxi, local bus, take a boat over the lake and then clinb up or just walk towards southwest (direction to Devil fall) cross the bridge, follow the zig zag trail up to the top of forest where you come across monkeys, it takes about 45 minutes. At the top you can get refreshment, while sipping a drink you can enjoy the view on Pokhara and if not hazy day also Himalaya mountain range. The tranquil vibe of the site is relaxing and calming. Free entry.

About an hour (1,000 rupees) from Pokhara and well worth the small hike from the pkg lot. Views are terrific and have the guide/driver discuss the Tebetan refugee situation. Also, there are coffee roaster little shops on way walking to top that are worth the trip!

We got a taxi here and back which cost Rs 1800 slightly more due to the festival and very few taxis, he also took us to devils falls on the way back free of charge. We left at 7.45 and got there at 8am.

It was an easy walk from the car park to the Pagoda it took around 10 mins. It was very quiet in the morning which was very peaceful

Sadly due to the cloud we couldn't see any of the views or even the top of the Pagoda but
