It is a nice place with a unique background story . It was on July 31, 1961, when a Swiss couple Mr and Mrs Davis made their visit to this enchanting place. Little did they know that their adventure was about to take a dark turn. While bathing in its water, the overflow pushed the woman in a sinkhole where she drowned. Her body was recovered after three days. It was at her father's request that the fall was named Davis Fall.

Very disappointing....to be honest, I have seen more spectacular flow from our garden tap! I suspect it would be a little more exciting, were you to visit during the monsoon. Basically just a trickle at this time of the year.

Very commercialised with 'tourist tat' stalls and very popular with the locals, many of whom wanted selfies with the 'Big White Buddha'......met some lovely people in the process and worth the otherwise unwanted attention!

This was included in our Pokhara Itinerary but wouldn't have made a specific visit.

This could have been so much better if the area surrounding the falls was cleaned up and crowd control implemented. Very little to see and the plant growth needs some serious attention. People pushing and jostling didn’t help.

Visited in December 2022. We went to this place as part of a full day sightseeing tour. It is located right opposite to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. You need to traverse a market before reaching the ticket counter. There are few small picture taking spots before you walk few steps to the falls. There is only one spot for taking a good picture of the falls and there is quite a crowd for that coveted spot. There are washrooms. Didn't use though.

There is really nothing attractive or special about this place that we could determine. Walk up to a fence look down and see a very deep crevice with a stream running through. Walk back out. There are so many better options

If you’ve got time and you’re in the area go for a peek. Not too much here but it’s a nice change from just shops. The waterfall itself is pretty small if you’re from the US/Canada/Australia or the tropics, but I noticed in Japan they also are impressed by a trickle of water.

Pay an entrance ticket to see plastic pollution. Look beyond the fence and on the slope side. Although the walkway is very well kept there's an accumulation of plastic bottles on the edges of the fall.

Though the place is very famous in Pokhara however I did not find it worth visiting.... the water level was down so could not see the water but could only hear the sound. Park is good for photo shoot. I left the place in less than 10 mins.

You know when you read the reviews and you still decide to go ? Well I did and I shouldn’t have bothered. The fence is so thick and it was so far back from the edge you could see very little and that’s despite the fact I am at least twice the height of the average Nepali
