First of all: don't bargain here. You have to understand that you're paying more for the Fair Trade factor and that's exactly why you should buy here. I bought a lovely little bag for 1600 and it's was worth every penny. Amazing quality and very cute bag! Will go back again at the end of my trip!

This is a good shop for presents which are nice, useful, price worthy and for a good cause. Their top quality pashmina shawls are also of good quality and fair prices.

this was one of the best shop I had visited in pokhara. the shopkeeper (female) was very kind and always had a great smile for her customers. the shop was well managed, decorated and very attractive. I liked it very much and I bought many things here. really appreciated all the hard works done my the women who made all these great valuable stuffs. loved it. very nice. regarding the price, I felt it was appropriate and didn't felt like being cheated or some of that sort. I paid with full satisfaction.
I will visit again, and again buy more from this shop.

I went to visit this shop where a very nice girl attended me extremely well. She had all the answers to the questions regarding the project that this shop and few more sustain. The place is nice, its easy to shop, plus you feel good buying for a good cause. They also have a nice terrace to enjoy.
Later, I visited their "factory" I put it this way because it looks more like a friends reunion, such a healthy environment and is all literally made by hand by all these extraordinary women.
I could talk to all, take pictures, see all the process and had an awesome afternoon with them.

Not only are their products beautiful, useful and practical the organization itself truly has an immense positive social impacts in the region. They employ hundreds of women from different backgrounds and needs in making their products and thus help support hundreds of families.
Shopping their items, you know you will not only have amazing stuff to use and wear but will also directly support the livelihoods of these families.
Their shops (Woven) in Lakeside are really nice but it's even better to visit them at their factory just outside Pokhara (45 min walk or quick taxi). You can buy stuff there but even better, you can visit where they make the products to understand even more how it's made and who's making them. Plus their dog is super cute and sometimes its cute puppy is there too. Well worth a visit!

Handmade woven products, excellent organization. Go to the factory outlet (45 min walk from Lakeside) for a wider selection than what is carried at Woven stores. Also, slightly lower prices as well.

This place is a shop and a factory as women are weaving and sewing and running the business. If you want an excellent souvenir of your travels I recommend coming to support these women as they use their skills to be self supportive. I got a really nice bag with their Nepal logo on it for such a reasonable price. I have to travel light but a bag like this or a scarf will always find it's way home with me as it reminds me of my trip and it just feels good to shop good. The shop in Pokhara is Lakeside 6 near the the Hotel Barahi but they also have one in Kathmandu.

We kept on finding ourselves here every time we're in Lakeside area of Pokhara. Their products have such great designs and quality, even better than the other shops you see in Nepal. I bought my new favorite scarf and daily bag here. All items are fixed priced and if you compare it to other shops, it comes out reasonable and sometimes even cheaper. The best thing is, you can be sure that your money will be put to a good cause. Proceeds directly help the Nepali women who made the products.

These women can be seen weaving in the side streets to make the most beautiful bags and material items. Highly recommend you get such things from any of the shops with the Women's Skills Development logo on top/out front. Good laptop covers in some.
