Jiva Spa is Pokhara's hidden oasis situated on the shore of the picturesque Phewa Lake. Our spa features unique private treatment cottages decorated in a traditional style. In this natural setting one can enjoy a range of services such as massage, beauty therapies and signature spa packages. Jiva is like no other Spa in Pokhara. The absolute best spa experience in Nepal for me. I had a 90 min Nepali massage and the therapist was fantastic and professional and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. What makes the time at Jiva truely outstanding is the peaceful and tranquil ambience. Your treatments are done in private cottages with ensuite, gentle music and traditional decor and the space is spotless clean. You are welcomed by the friendly staff with lemon infused water and a foot wash and can rest with a complimentary tea afterwards. I have been here many times and will be back. Thank you Trish and team for creating an oasis of peace in busy lakeside .

I had just finished the Annapurna Circuit and a massage was certainly on the cards! I took the good reviews to direct me to Jiva spa and was introduced to the amazingly wonderful and talented Jyoti! I was still suffering with a shoulder/neck strain and Jyoti ensured the right pressure on that particular side. Pressure was perfect, but she did ask prior to the massage about any areas in particular and the proffered amount of pressure.
I had a 30 minute neck/shoulder massage and it did the trick! I didn’t have a booking, but was lucky that they could accomodate me immediately!
I’m likely to go back tomorrow for Part 2!! I can only imagine how great a full body massage would be, although my trekker legs are still not up to anyone touching them for a few more days.
The Spa is a tad tricky to find, just head down to Busy Bee cafe and just before you enter swing a right down a little ally way and the signs will point you to Jiva from there. Tranquil music in the massage rooms, warm lemon water on arrival too. There is no rush to leave.

This was the best spa I have ever experienced - my sister and I did a half day package made up of body scrub, massage and facial. (We both went back for a mani-pedi - also well worth it, the next day). The half day was blissful and cleaned us up after our trek. Very professional staff and not expensive at under 5000 rupees. I’d highly recommend it.

I have been coming to Jiva for years and I absolutely love their massages! I particularly love the body scrub. The whole experience is great- a nice lemon water to start, really professional staff, lovely private cabins, and heaters and hot water bottles in the winter.
The body scrub leaves you feeling lovely and soft. I would definitely recommend the scrub followed by massage for ultimate relaxation! :)

I had a Nepalese 60 min massage which was fabulous . My therapist found all the knots I didn’t know I had and used just the right amount of pressure to work them out .
Lovely surroundings and very professional . I will most certainly go again and can thoroughly recommend

Down for the day rain today, so I had a back and shoulders massage, and a pedicure. The Lady was terrific - the best massage I have ever had!, and the Pedicure was great too. My feet never looked and felt so good.

Hi had a fantastic massage here while traveling in Pokhara two weeks ago. The location is lovely, like a little oasis, and the staff was wonderful. I didn't have time to return for a second massage, but wish that I did! If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return.

I came here to treat myself to a pedicure and manicure after two months of trekking in beautiful Nepal.
Jiva has a beautiful garden with many different areas right on Fewa Lake.
For the treatments I was taken up to a second floor balcony with superb views, perfect for relaxation. The mani/pedi was definitely a little different than what I was used to (it included mud being put on my entire legs/arms!) but it was nice. Nail polish isn't the best quality however, so if you have your own I'd recommend bringing it instead.

My wife and I have come here twice now and had great experiences both times. A unique menu that gets away from the normal "tourist menu" of local, pizza, pasta, etc.
The smoothies are delicious. They also make a nice beef burger which can be extra hard to find in a Hindu country.
I haven't tried the spa personally but after asking a couple people about their massages, I may have to return when I'm done trekking.
If you're looking for something different in the sea of momos then I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I have been in Pokhara for nearly 9 months now and I visit Jiva at least once a week. It is an oasis in the midst of a very manic place. Somewhere to totally relax after a busy day of shopping, paragliding, trekking. The food is delicious and totally unique. A welcome break from other restaurants whose menus are all very similar. Full of fresh, healthy, seasonal food. My favourites range from the fajita salad, the chicken burrito, maize chips with hummus and the incredible beetroot and feta tart!! Not to mention the delicious smoothies always made fresh to order.
Jiva also offers a selection of the best massages and treatments and provide yoga classes in busy seasons. The treatments are the best in town....I have tried several places for a massage and have never found a better, more professional place. The staff always go the extra mile to ensure whatever you're having done is tailored precisely to your needs.
Jiva couldn't be better for food, experience, atmosphere and general service. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Depends on what service you get! They have many options for massage, foot care, etc. Make sure you have a meal there too!
