About Purna Yoga & Treks
Purna Yoga & Treks (also known as Nepal Yoga Trek) is a pioneer of yoga trekking tours in Nepal. Many people come to Nepal to experience the beauty and magic of trekking in the Himalayas. The idea of combining yoga with trekking was born in 2008 and we have been passionate in organizing yoga treks in Nepal ever since. At Purna Yoga & Treks, as skilled trekking guides and passionate yoga teachers, we wanted to offer people a better way to experience some of the world's most breathtaking scenery. After much experimenting and exploration on how to integrate trekking and yoga we found a winning formula. Our yoga treks and tours have been carefully designed to combine the best elements of each. We provide a gentle trekking schedule, healthy food, stretches for weary muscles, breathing exercises to ease breathing and time to relax, reflect and enjoy the location. Each day starts with a short meditation and gentle yoga session to awaken you to the beauty that surrounds you and connects your senses with nature. We take time to stretch even during the day to prevent muscle strain. At times we also stop along the trail to really appreciate the surroundings and meditate on the sound of a flowing river or engage in mountain gazing meditation. Afternoons are marked with yoga nidra - guided relaxation which allows us to integrate the day's experiences and is deeply rejuvenating. This combination of trekking, yoga and mindfulness is a sure way to connect with yourself and to help find inner balance and harmony in the natural setting of world's highest mountains.

It was an amazing experience. Yoga every morning prepared me physically, mentally and emotionally for the trekking. Dinesh, guide and yoga teacher, was incredible! He knows how to take you deeper into the yoga practice while being respectful and creative. His quiet and committed presence made the steeper slopes enjoyable! And Depends presence was a major condiment to the trip. He carried the heavy stuff with a smile and was always eager to help! Highly recommended!

My friend and I went to Purna yoga retreat just for 2 nights whilst we were in Pokhara. I often do yoga but my friend had never done any. Both of us were accommodated for and loved our experiences! Food is amazing, the location is beautiful and the yoga instructors are great. I can’t wait to come back for longer next time! I felt amazing afterwards, a true detox and cleanse! 😃

Had an amazing time on a ‘solo’ trek with guide, yoga teacher (and unfortunately porter!), Dinesh from Purna Yoga & Trek. I had separately done their 1 day yoga retreat programme 48 hours before (equally fantastic). I was looking for an ‘easy’ trek and found it in Panchasse (5 days 4 nights) which promises stunning sunrise and sunset views and all the authenticity of Nepalese village life and hospitality. The daily yoga sessions taking place against the backdrop of the stunning Annapurna range is truly unique, great for those looking to better their practice or simply break out of the usual yoga class routine. What a treat to be the only trekker during the off season, which meant customised coaching and guidance from Dinesh at a comfortable pace. For trekking enthusiasts, the yoga helps with stretching out those sore muscles and breaks the potential mundaneness of long hikes. Thanks to the staff at Purna Yoga & Treks for a memorable time during my first visit to Nepal. Hope to be back to attempt ABC soon!

Purna Yoga & Treks offers the perfect combination of hiking and yoga. We did the Annapurna BC hike and it was an amazing experience, I can definitely recommend! You start each day with yoga session that helps you to prepare for the day, the hiking isn't very long but there are a lot of steps up and down. Beautiful scenery, rivers, valleys and tiny villages on the way, there is always something to admire during hiking. In the afternoon we did stretching and then later yoga nidra or candle glazing as well. The tea houses are basic but comfortable, the food is just delicious everywhere you go. The highlight is definitely the team from Purna, Dinesh is a very experienced guide, kind and thoughtful, always making sure that everybody is satisfied and safe. Our porters carried our heavy bags every day with a smile and took good care of us during meals as well. It was a very special trip to remember and I would definitely do another one with Purna in the future!
