About
'Cook with delight' is a home based cooking class offered to the foreigners to learn cooking Nepalese cuisine with a lovely local family. Our intention is to teach travelers who want to learn to cook the Nepalese cuisines like Dal Bhat, Mo:mos ,etc. in Pokhara. It's a fun course where the visitors will learn, cook and then finally enjoy their own cooked dish. We love to help you cook your own Nepalese dish!!! (Note: We usually do the class at 5pm. But sometimes the guests may be messaged for different timing.)

This was an excellent and authentic cookery experience. We were greeted with tea, and then the 4 of us were taught how to make mo mos from scratch. It was a fantastic experience and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We made around 60-70 mo most between us plus learnt how to make a fabulous dip to go with it. It's a nice friendly and homely environment and we felt like part of the family. We would highly recommend it.

We had been eating dal bhat whilst trekking and were keen to learn how to make it well at home, especially the dal and the pickle.
The teaching was great. Fun and hands on too; giving us first hand experience and clever little tips. The dal and the pickle we made with our host was the best we have tasted.
Definitely recommend this cookery course when you’re in Pokhara.

Such a lovely idea to offer momo cooking class. I enjoyed the experience and it was so nice to meet a Nepali woman with this entrepreneurship mindset.
Don’t expect something sophisticated or super professional. Go with an open mind and enjoy doing something new

Everything was well prepared and we could start immediately after a very warm welcome. The steps of the dishes were explained thoroughly and the all participants were involved according to their skills and interests. All steps were accompanied by practical hints with respect to the ingredients and possible variations. In the end we were really convinced that we are capable of cooking the dishes on our own. Furthermore, all ingredients used should be available all around the world.
We had three very joyful and delicious evenings. Can't wait to cook the dishes with our friends and family once we return back home.
Many thanks for this unique and unforgettable experience!

Sandhya gives amazing cookingclasses! She is the sweetest, lady and a good teacher. I learned al the tips an tricks to make traditional Nepalese Dal Bhat and momo’s. She is patient and shows you how to do it, tells a lot about the products and ways to handle them and gives you room to practice. Fun and delicious!!
I will definitely come back here!!!
This course is also a hotel is runned by a lovely, warm and hospital family. The room is good with a nice comfortable bed, hot showers and a fan on the ceiling. Location is top, price is top. We loved the warm welcome when we came back from our trek, we felt like children coming back home. Home away from home!

We've had a great time at Cook with Delight. Making Mo:mo's was fun and interesting, in a home-like setting with proper instructions, tips and help to make it work. Turned out delicious! It was also nice to be with the family and seeing the nice looking hotel. Very personal and easy (how easy or hard as you like it) experience, lots of fun.
