I met Ranjit while having an early breakfast at Monks Coffee House (great place!) and we started chatting for a while. A few days after, he took me around some of the most well-known and lesser known parts on Pokhara, both by car and bike. He is the nicest person to talk to and spend the day with, and he knows a lot about the area - would recommend having Ranjit as your guide to everyone!!

I went to Nepal at April 2022 and this is my first time for Himalaya and Trekking. So that's mean I need a guide for support and lead to the mountain that's "Mardi himal trek"
and I found this guide he's name Ranjit and his co-worker name Raju . It's amazing to know these two guy cause they do a good job on their responsibility. And I met the new experience and adventure activity so amazing.

Mandala Nepal Treks is really good choice for Trekking beginner or foreigner because good price , good attitude and good weed LOL

Ranjit was our amazing guide in Pokhara. Our 2 days were filled with laughter, adventure, and music. He went above and beyond in so many ways…from his patience with us to teaching us Nepali words and being kind about our horrible pronunciation, and from giving us SO MANY insightful options, and never seeming disappointed when we ultimately stuck to our original plan. He gave us wonderful recommendations for food and drink, and even helped with a spur-of-the-moment paragliding adventure. He is knowledgable, and far exceeded any expectations. He is a treasure!

Do yourself a favour ..... Put a trek with Ranjit high on your must do list while in Pokhara.

We traveled the Annapurna Skyline trek with him Twice. Each time we took a different route to get to our overnight stay in a local home, in a local village. Both traveled different countryside, villages, landscapes and vegetation, so each time was a new adventure. Ranjit's knowledge of the area where he grew up is extensive, he shares it readily with intelligence and humour. I ask questions constantly and, on the odd occasion he was unable to answer immediately, I could be sure he would research it and deliver the answer within 24 hours!

The trek took us through the foothills of Pokhara up manageable inclines, weaving between villages, taking in a slice of real Nepali life. Ranjit can tailor your trek to your level of fitness, we chose only a few hours walking each day and found it relatively easy going. We saw few other trekkers which was a nice for a change.

Our overnight stays at Ranjit's Grandparents and Parents homes were warm, comfortable and made very special by the generous hospitality offered by his family. We were perfectly looked after, all our needs and more, met with ease and genuine care.

Despite some hazy days eventually the views of the magnificent peaks were breathtaking. But, even without the promise of the stunning Annapurna range as your backdrop, both treks were second to none during our 6 week stay in Nepal.

And I think this comes down to Ranjit. As a guide he is safe, knowledgeable, flexible and more than capable. He is a genuine, good person who knows his stuff when it comes to guiding, trekking, local advice and looking after his clients. He deals with all negotiations with intelligence and care and overcomes 'bumps in the road' without fuss. Ranjit became our 'go to man' for just about anything while we were in Pokhara and beyond and all were great value for money.

If you are after a 'real' Nepalese experience I highly recommend Mandala Nepal Treks Pokhara and Ranjit as your first port of call when you reach Pokhara. You will not be disappointed.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mandala Nepal Treks (don’t let the title deceive you... they do everything!). They were recommended to us by a lovely lady we met in am/pm cafe (another gem of Pokhara) who said that Ranjit and his team would be able to tailor activities to any requirements we had. Ranjit has spent the last 6 years organising treks and activities for other companies and at the start of 2017 set up his own company, Mandala Nepal Treks.

I arrived in Pokhara quite unwell, Ranjit organised a trek for my friends stopping at his grandparents village, then hiking up to his parents staying the night and then trecking onwards staying in homestays along the way. The total each of them paid per day was $65 and that included all food, guide and accommodation. As I am sure your research has shown, the average suggests $100 a day!

While they were away I started to feel a lot better and Ranjit organised for me to be taken to Devil Falls, The Peace Bagoda, the cave and to all three Tibetan refugee camps with a guide. I was never rushed at all and was even invited back to the guides house to meet his family in Pokhara and have some tea and fruit. The total cost for the day was $28, my entry fees, tip and donations on top of that came out about $10.

On top of this Ranjit also managed to get us flights out of Pokhara at the last minute when Skyscanner and other search engines showed no availability.

He is an incredibly personable and resourceful young man with immense knowledge (of plants, trecking routes, who to call to get something sorted quickly) and has as perfect English as I heard during our time in Nepal. He also speaks Chinese if that’s useful to anyone!

We are in our 30’s but Ranjit had just returned from a 12 day treck with a couple in their 60’s. You tell him what you want (paragliding, tour, trek, flights, bus etc) and he will organise it and he will do it in a modern and cost effective way. He is building his reputation so now is a really great time to get a tailored trip!

We were so lucky to have come across Mandala Nepal Treks during our time in Nepal.

Run by an energetic, friendly and highly personable local by the name of Ranjit, the company went to every effort to ensure our needs were met during the planning stages, as well as during the trek to ABC. Ranjit's English skills are superb, which made this process particularly easy.

Would highly recommend Mandala Nepal Treks for all your trekking/sightseeing needs.
