Amazing trip. Pujan and his team of assistant guides and porters were truly the heart of my trek. Pujans's enthusiasm and local knowledge was outstanding and helped to make this challenging adventure one of the most incredible experience of my life. I unfortunately became very ill whilst treking and needed medical attention. Pujan and his team looked after me and arranged all my hospital and after care, not once did I feel alone. I recommend the Everest base camp trek with Freedom Adventure, right from initial booking through to heading home the attention to detail and care of me and my fellow travellers has been outstanding.

Hi,
Glad that you are happy with our service and logistic arrangments. We are equally glad that you made it to the base camp. Pujan has been a great guide for many trekkers. He understands what customers are expecting and can make the right decision at right time.
Keep safe and stay healthy.
Thanks

The Himalayas are absolutely beautiful, our guide Raj was fantastic and his assistants “The Ram” and “Taxman” Navin were great fun and kept us safe at all times. It’s hard graft with the altitude but the itinerary means you slowly acclimatise, no one in our group got altitude sickness. If you’re not on the pills you will get a headache above 5000 metres but Raj ensured we weren’t up there for too long and in all cases it went as soon as we descended. Be prepared for basic accommodation in the mountains, there were a few places with hot showers and Wi-Fi but we were disconnected for about 5 days (a good thing!). The flight to Pokhara was super fun, if you’re scared of flying in a tiny plane with lots of turbulence Raj can sort a bus. I’ll remember this trip for the rest of my life, that feeling when you get up to Thorong-La pass is epic. My group was awesome, like-minded people who were all friendly and I hope to have made some real friends. Only last comment – the itinerary may change, we did the pass a day early due to severe weather conditions and people have previously died on the circuit. It’s obviously not Everest but some of the paths go through landslide areas and are pretty sketchy. All in all a fantastic trip.

Where to begin.. In terms of natural beauty, this trek around the Annapurna mountain range is simply magnificent. The sheer grandiosity of the peaks and valleys dotted with simple mountain villages lined with traditional prayer flags is enough to leave you speechless. But in addition, we had an absolute stellar group of guides and porters.
As the head guide, Tika has meticulously chosen the best tea houses and ensures the entire trek is seamless. Every single time we arrived at a new tea house, our table was reserved, the check in had already been done, and our rooms were ready. Furthermore, he is constantly checking on our health and reminding us to properly hydrate and when we should try the Yak cheese (and when we definitely should NOT!). Tika brought an extremely high level of professionalism to this trip, and I would recommend doing this trek ONLY with him. His assistant Palden Sherpa, is also always present and handles all the billing and brings positivity and laughter to the entire group. He has a contagious laugh and a genuine passion for the mountain and trekking. The four porters, Mohan, Ananta, Jeewan, and Ujjal were absoultely delightful, hard working men. They taught us card games, came dancing with us, and took excellent care of our bags throughout the entire journey. A huge applause to the team. They made this trip unforgettable.
In sum, this was one of the best holidays I have ever had in my entire life. If you have a proclivity to outdoor adventure and need a disconnect from the daily grind, the
Annapurna Circuit organized with Freedom Adventures is second to none. Give yourself this gift - I promise you will not regret it.

The Everest region is an amazing place to visit and a trek to the Gokyo valley and Everest Base Camp is a personal ambition of mine. Trekking to the base of the world's highest mountain is a fantastic achievement and it is well worth the effort. Honestly, I could not put into words how beautiful the landscape is, every corner has something else you can be amazed at, we were lucky to have beautiful blue skies and great visibility the entire way. We trekked to Everest Base Camp via Gokyori and Chola Pass and hiked Kala Patthar through the night to catch the sunrise over Everest, and the surrounding mountains (Lhotse, Nuptse, Changtse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Chumbu, Thamserku, Kangtega, Taboche & Lobuche).
One of the main reasons this was an unforgettable trip was the porters, assistant leaders’ and the leader, Roshan, Lakpa, kubir, Vishan, Sudip, Garam, Birdhoj, Ngima and Pujan. The porters made sure our night bags arrived safely and undamaged, unbelievable considering they walked the same path as us. Where we struggled, they made it look easy.
The assistant leaders’ need a massive shout out, knowing Ngima was around gave us the confidence we were in safe hands, and he had the oxygen. Birdhoj (Bear) was leading us through this rough terrain slow and calmly. Each day they would ready our customary cup of tea and breakfast, always with a smile on their face and always happy to help. This happened throughout the day if we need anything they were ready to help, getting us water when we needed it and took our order for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. After a long trip it was needed.
Then there’s Pujan, our Leader. From the very beginning he picked us up at the airport and brought us to our hotel, to the end celebrations, he guided all of us to complete the circuit, no matter your fitness, he would say 25/7 service and he meant it. He has all the knowledge of the mountain and gave us advice when it comes to water intake, altitude sickness, injuries etc. we could not have wished for a better person to guide us through this trip.
Overall, it was a great trip, and I would highly recommend it, it was brutal at times, but it was worth it to see the most beautiful views on earth.

Just returned from Nepal having completed the Gokya Lakes and EBC route. I can highly recommend doing this trip with Freedom Adventures.
The leader Pujan, and his assistants Bir and Ngima were all great and couldnt do enough to ensure that everyone in the party reached their goals and as comfortable as possible. Nothing was ever an issue.
The supporting team of porters were amazing and ensure our luggage got to our destination safely and I could not have completed this trip without them.
The itinerary was put together to ensure as many people completed it as possible with appropriate amount of acclimatisation days along the route.
Whilst there are shorter routes to EBC, i highly recommend taking in the longer route that encompasses Gyoko lakes and the Cho lo pass amongst many other special places on this route, which imho overshadows EBC.
I hope to keep in touch with everyone from this trip, including the guides as everyone contributed to a very special trip and it wouldnt have been the same without them.

Our guides Dakman and Ganga we awesome. They were attentive to all our needs from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp and back. When flights to Lukla were canceled for a week, they immediately came up with a new plan that would cost us nothing to ensure we stayed on track to getting to base camp when many people had to either pay for a helicopter or just go on a different itinerary. Truly top class guiding and the best trip I've been on in my life.

I visited Nepal in November 2022 to climb Yala Peak. The trek & climb was organised very professionally by Freedom Adventure.
Krishna has arranged for additional nights, transfers etc. but he also contacted me before the trip to answer any of my questions regarding kit, expedition etc.
Dakman, who was our main trekking guide, was both professional and patient with us and our constant questions.
Ashok, who was our climbing guide, made sure that the climb was safe, lead the way, but also supported us when we struggled.
Pasang and Asman were our porters, but also assistant guides. They were always keen to chat and help us with anything what we needed.
As there were only two of us climbing and four of the guides, we spent a lot of time together walking, seating and chatting in the guest houses, jeep on our way or base camp before our climb. I fill that during those 10 days we become friends.
Conditions in the guest houses were basic, but sufficient. Food was worm and the trek was really memorable with beautiful views of the mountains, and some wild animals, like monkeys, Himalayan goats, birds. Trek followed the river and crossed many small villages where we stopped for coffee or local masala tea.
Climb of Yala Peak started with the trek to the base camp where there was no other tourist except our small group. The climb was quite long (started at 3 a.m.), challenging and tiring, but also very rewarding with superb views from the top. During the day of the climb our group was only one on the mountain which I enjoyed greatly. This area is not so commercialised yet and I would recommend both trek and climb for all people looking for more quiet part of the Himalayas.

My Trip to Everest Base camp was fantastic, very well organised by freedom adventure from start to finish. It was a bit weird at the start when I realised it was just myself booked onto the trip. But that allowed my guide Ngima Moktan who was brilliant the entire way. To give me a more personal touch and we could walk at my pace and take breaks when I needed them. He spoke very good English, was very knowledgeable about the mountains and was great at taking photos for me. My personal highlight was Kala Patthar. The views were amazing of Everest and Lhotse. I was extremely lucky with the weather on my trek and had beautiful clear skies for the majority of my trek allowing incredible views from the very start and both my internal flights to take off on the scheduled day. As it was just me on the trip I had one Porter with me Buddha who was great, he arrived ahead of me with my bag that was waiting outside my room every day and also kept us company for some sections of the route. The accommodation along the route was way above my expectations and they all had electricity, showers that were okay and the food was good. I do find it a little strange food isn’t included and it was quite expensive. I estimate I spent $350 on food and drink. So less than I budgeted for. But I did go for relatively cheap options. (I recommend the Cheese and Potato MoMo)
The walking was fairly difficult especially on the way back to Lukla. There’s lots of up and down sections. Its as mentally challenging as it is physically. But overall it was definitely worth it. I’d highly recommend the trip and using Freedom Adventure.
I would suggest to Skyhook/Freedom adventure that you remove the 3rd night in Namche as I don’t feel two acclimatisation treks at 3400m are required. Also I’d recommend offering the option to go to the top of the peak we climb on the acclimatisation trek in Dingbouche it’s over 5000m and a lovely walk up with great views.
I’d like to thank everyone at Freedom Adventure and especially my guide and porter Nima and Buddha.

I couldn't recommend travelling with Freedom Adventures more - the guides and entire team went above and beyond at every step to give us the best experience possible. They adapted seamlessly to things like the weather, dietary requirements, and the occasional time when someone in our group experienced altitude sickness. The Freedom Adventures team have a great relationship with the teahouses where we stayed along the way, where we always felt warmly welcomed and had an amazing choice of food and drinks. The accommodation was very comfortable and there was generally Wifi and showers available. I felt so grateful to the team throughout the trip for their incredible guiding skills, making us feel safe and looked after at all times, leading fascinating side trips including to a 700 year old monastery and generally being really fun to spend time with. And of course the scenery is absolutely mind blowing. I cannot wait to come back to Nepal and will definitely book with Freedom Adventures again.

It is so heartwarming to hear about your amazing experience doing the Annapurna Circuit trek. The Annapurna Circuit trek can be both difficult as well as immaculate. As you might have experienced this region has so much to offer from a very diverse landscape that lets you experience from lowlands to high Himalayas and from flowing Rivers to Lakes. We are so happy to hear that you visited a 700-year-old monastery and learned about their culture and way of living.
Once again we Freedom Adventures would like to thank you for your heartfelt review and for sharing your wonderful experience. We believe your experience will help future wanderers in the near future to better understand this region and embark on this amazing trek. We wish you all the very best and Till we Meet again.
Warm Regards

Fantastic trip and more of an adventure than we bargained for! The weather meant that the flight to Lukla was cancelled, our excellent tour guide Sunil provided us with the all the options we had to keep the EBC dream alive. If we weren't on an organised tour I don't think we would have been able to make it to EBC as the itinerary went completely out of the window. Sunil and the talented team worked really hard to ensure we were able to get back on schedule after a number of long days hiking, they always kept spirits up, whilst ensuring we ate and stayed in nice places. The scenery was stunning and changed daily, we enjoyed plenty of laughs and uno in the evenings. Can not recommend this trip highly enough!
