I had a trek to Makalu Basecamp plus an additional 6-day excursion to the head of the Barun Glacier arranged through this outstanding company. The owner, Dipak Pande, is young, energetic, open for new ideas, and very competent in his organizing of treks. I did the trek with just his leading guide, Ang Dawa Sherpa, as a climbing partner, and Ang Dawa's brother Lakpa as porter. The two were the perfect partners. Together, Dipak and Ang Dawa proved very efficient and flexible when weather enforced flight changes and required arrangement of jeeps – they truly worked miracles, and the whole 35-days trek ran like clockwork. All in all, it turned out the perfect combination of enjoyable hiking, stunning landscape, and challenging trekking off the beaten track (up to 6160 m). In 8 expeditions over 24 years this was my best Himalayan experience ever, and I can't recommend this company and its staff highly enough!

I booked a route with Dipak for EBC for 12days in total, I have a good impression that Dipak facilitate everything went well and I’m definitely safe for the entire trek. Along the way to EBC, Mr.Biswa a local guide he really experienced and professional he guided me how to sleep, walk and eat in the mountain especially how to acclimatise? Without him I’m not sure I can reach the EBC? The destination was very high 5,363m above sea level that meant we may fail to get it if no one provide us a proper trek. Thank Dipak and Biswa, you both are incredible person.

Four months prior to our first visit to Nepal, we emailed Mountain Rock Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. to discuss a Everest short trekking. Mr. Dipak Pande (Manager) of Mountain Rock Treks & Expedition was quick to reply to our questions every time. So we decided to travel with them. We paid 30% in advance by credit card as a deposit. We paid the balance in USD cash at the hotel on the day we entered Nepal.
We flew by helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla. Then we walked to Namche in 2 days. The next 3rd day we flew back to Kathmandu via Kala Patthar by helicopter. The trip was more memorable than I could have ever imagined. The cost was expensive, but I have no regrets. We hope to travel with Mountain Rock Treks & Expedition again someday.
Thankfully we borrowed a duffel bag to be carried by a porter for free of charge. The helicopter did not fly as scheduled due to weather and airport traffic, but fortunately it did not significantly affect our trip. Real-time communication in English via WhatsApp with Mountain Rock Treks & Expedition and our guide was convenient and necessary throughout our stay in Nepal and during the trek. WhatsApp seems to be popular in Nepal.

EBC was once in a lifetime trip and I was looking for a good operator. That is how I came across Mountain Rock and Dipak. An extremely professional and a friendly person who understood our requirement and tailored a package which exactly met our needs.
Guide Sandeep and the porter Buddha was really nice and helpful. We fell ill during the trip and it was Dipak and his team who managed all changes in the itinerary and still make available the best choices, as decided in the beginning. I have no hesitation in giving him 5 star for his services and wish him all the best in all his future endeavours. Dipak himself is a person who has grown from the ranks and he knows EBC as a back off his hand. In case you are planning to do EBC, I think Mountain Rock is the best choice.

We visited Nepal for a few days only and went for EBC heli tour from Kathmandu. We booked the trip before coming to Nepal. Communication with Dipak was easy and he was very professional. Let me just say that there were 10 people from various agencies on the airport shuttle bus, yet only two of us were aware of all fees and expenses and therefore prepared accordingly. Everything was spot on, so the only thing left for us was to wake up early to enjoy the flight and the views... totally worth it!

An incredible trip and adventure! My friends and I were expertly looked after throughout by our guide Sandip, who’s experience and knowledge of the area kept us safe and well informed about the surrounding mountains, sights and history.
The entire expedition was planned perfectly and carried out seamlessly. We were lucky enough to get a helicopter ride as a substitute for a plane due to bad weather, allowing our trip to go ahead despite the unfavourable conditions. So a massive thanks to Dipak for organising everything so excellently. Not having to think about logistics once there made it all the more enjoyable.

Dipak was very very helpfull from the day i contacted him about trekking Annapurna Basecamp. Due to the COVID-19 situation we had to return from our trek only after one day of trekking. Dipak quickly arranged our trip back to Kathmandu and made sure we had some good last days in Kathmandu before flying back to Denmark. When I go back to Nepal I am definitley gonna trek with his team. Dipak also runs a hotel in Kathmandu (Florid Hotel) which is very convenient to stay at if you are gonna trek with his team. All together the service impeccable and Dipak is so kind always ready to help you. Thank you so much for everything Dipak!

We used mountain rock treks for our helicopter transfers from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, as well as this they were able to arrange an emergency transfer for one of our party who was suffering with his health from Lobouche.
The communications and support we received was second to none. The help that Dipak and his team gave us helped to make our trip a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend Mountain rock treks to anyone visiting the area.

I was very pleased with my tour guide, Mahesh. He is a very patient yet funny bloke. Along the trek, we were blessed by amazing scenic views of the mountains around the Everest region. However, on the day we trekked to Gorakshep, the weather was superb. We managed to see all the mountains in a 360-degree view through our vision. Mahesh and I opted to summit Kala Patthar in the evening around 5:00 pm from our lodge at Gorakshep. As we trekked up to the peak, we managed to see certain parts of the mountains in golden brown, as there were a lot of clouds surrounding the region. Always follow the guide's instructions.

My sister and I did a 12 day track to the Manaslu Lake pass. It was absolutely beautiful. We booked our track 2 days before from kathmandu. From the first time we met our Guide and Porter we felt extremly comfortable and well taken care of. This whole experience was incredible and we have to thank Mahisch and Eaku for that!!!
