My wife and i booked the Everest Base Camp trek through Rising Adventure which is owned by Chandan Thapa. From the word go, Chandan had been in contact with all the details pre arrival and upon landing in Nepal, we were greeted by Hari (Manish) our guide for the trek. We were also joined by a fellow Slovakian trekker to EBC .
On day one, we were faced with cancelled flights to Lukla due to unfavourable weather conditions but Chandan and Hari worked their magic to get us Chopper rides to Surke where we were joined by Bimal and Prabu Ram, our two porters for the trip.
One of our Porter's(Bimal) fell sick at Namche and Hari again worked his magic to arrange a immediate replacement porter (Naveen).
Hari was very well organised and informative throughout our trekking adventure to EBC always pointing out all the mountains and explaining the history of the area as we passed eached settlement. On days we felt tired or felt could not push on, Hari encouraged us to take one step at a time until we reached our destination for the day.
On day eight we were elated to reach the Everest Base Camp and we ended up with hugs and high fives. We formed a good bond over the 9 days trip and Hari felt like a family member who we had known for years.
We would like to wish a successful future to Rising Adventure and a big thank you to our guide and friend Hari for helping us forge a lifetime of memories.

Rising adventure really gave me a lifelong memory. The owner of Rising Adventure is a kind and generous man with lot responsibility, we started to communicate and share my person thought about this trip even since the time I haven't pay the deposit. He really cares about client and his business. If someone wants to choose Rising Adventure, just write an email, Chandan always reply
I also recommend Sundar as the professional mountain leader. he is also a responsible person who will take care of you 24/7, also an easy-going man who constantly observe your body condition and adjust the itinerary accordingly on the mountain, of course he shared lot of life experience living in Nepal, gave me lot of motivation during the trek. In general, I feel safe and and comfortable with him.
I also recommend Sundar as the professional mountain leader. he is also a responsible person who will take care of you 24/7, also an easy-going man who constantly observe your body condition and adjust the itinerary accordingly on the mountain, of course he shared lot of life experience living in Nepal, gave me lot of motivation during the trek. Amazing journey to ABC with Rising Adventure. Just a month before plan this trip, fast respon from Chandan, he always answer my question. Good price if you choose Rising Adventure. From the start arrived at Nepal and the end of trips Chandan took care all. Chandan gave me advice just slowly, don’t push myself too hard. For sure I was very slow and I made it because great team from Rising Adventure especially my tour guide Hari Pariyar and my porter Dan bwadhur. Hari very helpfull, kind and taking care of me. Hari and Dan Bwadhur was very patience, I’m slow person than normal people. From the first day heavy rain and strong winds, day two I vommit, day three and day four snowfall, Hari always makesure that I’m okay. Hari also good taking good picture. Hari and Danbwahur friendly and never looks tired. I’m very satisfied with this company. Highly recommended.

We did a Manaslu circuit and thanks to Rising Adventure it was an awesome experience. Chandan took care of all our needs, including the after programme in Chitwan NP and Lumbini. The trek went smoothly mostly because of guidance of Sundar, the best guide in the field. He was very professional and never put in doubt our ability to reach the Larke pass. Also our porters Lekvadu and Radzan were friendly and smily and helped us not only with the heavy luggage, but also with serving food and even performed music at the resting points.
We have chosen Rising Adventure without any knowledge of their team, but it was the best choice we did for this journey and I recommend them to everyone interested in trekking in Nepal and discovering this beautiful country.

You are right that Rising Adventure has the years of experience in organizing the trekking, tours, and climbing in Nepal. Our owner, Mr. Chandan is very smart and professional in organizing, operating, and managing the trip. He gives much more time as he can to our valued customers for knowing their requirements which eases him to design the trip.
Besides, our guide and porter are very supportive and co-operative. Mr. Sudan is a licensed guide. He has the enormous experience in field of trekking and climbing. Now, he is preparing for a climbing guide. Last time, he climbed the Island Peak and got succeeded.

A good and very professional tour agency. The founder, Mr Chandan Thapa , made a very good planning before I flew to Kathmandu. The arrangement, together with the tour guide and porter provided, make my 14 days ABC trekking trip enjoyable and memorable. Except the planed trekking trip, Chandan also arranged a ad hoc one day sightseeing around the City Kathmandu , plus a special Mountain flight to Everest trip. It really enjoyable. Indeed, after the trip, we became a good friend and make me to plan my EBC trip for next year. Thank you, Chanda and your friendly guide and staff. Cheers 😀

The intro, planning:
Finally, after a lot of planning and ban because of an unfortunate and sad heli crash, back to July, limitations, restrictions... we could make this happen in December: Kalaphatar heli tour. Chandan was so patient, all the time with me from distant too, as someone who represents Nepal's overall culture and shiny side very well! He was attentive all the way and treated me like a family member. He even visited me in the hotel before the day of the flight, what is unusual in the days of growing technocracy. We could've solved the payment online too, but he felt as well important to meet in person, to build friendship and to be the face of his country.
He is really respectful too, and thankful if there is mutual trust and the love of that mountaneous area. As well he took notes about we discussed all the way to improve the business, so that is full humbleness too.
As we had of course some issues and logistics or to get ground of common understanding too, and things to be resolved, but for now all those are gone.
I'll definitely be his contributor in the 'Western' Region, and hope to bring him more and more Customers! I really hope that I was not the first and last of it but only the pioneer of this exact type of adventure from our region(s).
About the flight itself:
It was a bit too rushy, but by the hour, so no big complaints. I actually wanted to do a kind of record-breaking experiment again (just when I went beyond the Northern and South Circle (66) just in 2 weeks, 2-2 times), to have this all packed into a day (or much less), so nothing to push onto Chandan, who just tried to help in this. ;) Yes, I had that much time left that I could do a bit of city tour, and still arrived for my 9PM flight to the airport, hours before...
The pilot was originally fun and everything started smooth, however it was a bit uncertain where we are at a certain moment during the tour, so a bit more communication and agreements beforehand could've been better to get sync between him and the Company, as well maybe, and/or if Chandan or another rep. would fly too, it may be easier. This gap is just about the communication segment, since I felt myself all the time safe, we agreed about the heli's parameters are so fitting to that area (much more than a plane's would) and had a good mood chat about the mountains, but there was still a bit of uncertainty left, what should be the exact spots for scenic view, and how many times and where to stop and so. All may be about time vs. money (both were quite fixed for that time between Company and Customer), but neither should be a surprise (less or more) for none of the parties in the story, but should be figured out and not only by intuitions or indications but in advance, and not 'inside' the experience.
Otherwise yes, the pilot was a real expert, the heli was nice and the views... look at the pictures and you'd want to be there right now! :)
I got some friends too on the way, it was a nice meeting with hikers, sherpas and those who we picked up on the way. So it was a good improvisation of local-feeling too, outside the hotels too.

I went with my friend and we had never trekked before! We made it to EBC!
I want to specifically single out our guide Hari Pariyar. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need.
He made the trip fun when it was tough. He looked after us, through the colds, food recommendations, pharmacies, cafes. But most importantly through the trek.
His attitude was phenomenal from the moment we met him in Kathmandu, until we said goodbye.
I can’t imagine doing this trip with another guide.
I urge anyone who is thinking of doing the EBC trek to specifically ask for Hari.
Rising adventure as a whole were hospitable, made sure all the info was relayed clearly and Chandan was quick to respond even weeks before our trek answering any questions we had so I would like to thank him personally. He also picked us up from the airport.
And please I urge you to not forget to tip the porters they are the true unsung hero’s of the trek.

Chandan and Sundar has been great. Chandan has been very responsive and took care of all our needs in Nepal. They have been very welcoming. Chandan who is the owner of the company paired us with Sundar as our guide for a 12 day trek to EBC and back. Sundar has been outstanding with his knowledge of the area and took care of us every step of the way. The days we feel low he would inspire us to keep going. I will recommend Chandan and Sundar 100%.

We started our trip from Kathmandu, where the company picked us up from the airport to our hotel. Took us to places to get us ready for the trek!
We stayed at Kathmandu for two days!
Our guid hari pariyar was awesome and took care of us the moment we met him!
He made the trek to EBC unforgettable and knew all the awesome places to take pictures and was just awesome, and took care of every single detail!! All I can say it was such an unforgettable journey with the best guid and porter!
I’d highly recommend doing it with them.
The trek was awesome and everything just aligned!
Thank you so much for such an amazing experience and we will come back to do another trek!

I joined Rising Adventure on an amazing & unforgettable trip to Everest Base Camp in April 2023. The team was fantastic, very caring and the perfect team who helped us to reach safely to EBC. The guide Sundar kept us informed and guided us each and every moment very professionally and responsibly. The porters were very dedicated and though caring a massive load up the mountain they always were checking on us on the way up & down. The team of porters & guide worked together as a family to ensure the group is safe and no one is left behind. What a lifetime experience!
