We were most impressed by Far Out Nepal's professionalism and sincerity; every detail was looked into and Sunir never failed to check on how we were doing. Bejoy and Dorjee were experienced and professional guides. They were attentive, accommodating and patient.
Bejoy’s wealth of knowledge translated into captivating stories which enriched our experience touring the cultural and historical sites. Also, we really enjoyed our conversations about culture and education.
Dorjee’s guidance had made our journey through the trek unforgettable and fun. Although it was supposed to be an easy trek, it was challenging at times for inexperienced trekkers like us. However, Dorjee was patient and we were so inspired by how much he enjoyed trekking that we wanted to do the same too. At the end of each day, we were not only rewarded with a comfortable lodge and good food, but also breath-taking scenery.
We highly recommend Far Out Nepal, and will not hesitate to engage them again.

In 2011 I spent three months living and trekking in Nepal, and Far Out Nepal took excellent care of me that entire time. More than just a travel agency, they became my family in Nepal. Sunir, the owner, is a great guy, and my sherpa guide, Rinji, will be forever my good friend. Totally recommend it.

Trekking to the remote Dolpo region was an unforgettable experience! Sunir Gurung organized an individual tour for me, according to my personal wishes. He is a completely reliable and very experienced tour operator. The view of snow-capped mountains and deep blue Phoksundo lake is just breathtaking. Our Nepali guide was an expert in high altitude trekking, moreover he had a profound knowledge about culture, flora and fauna. In order to make life easier for us, six mules carried our tents and food supplies. I can highly recommend you to book a trekking through Far Out Nepal.

I traveled in Nepal with Far Out more than once, and all trips were absolutely great. I went trekking in the Everest region, Manaslu region and had day trips in Kathmandu. All the services were excellent, the guides are fun and super competent. I couldn't expect more. I had problems with my luggage at the airport, and without their help I think I wouldn't be able to recover it.

I would like to special thank to Sunir Gurung for your attention and dedication to help us organize our trip to Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet.
Our trip was wonderful and everything went very well.
We loved our stay in Bhutan and we enjoyed our days in Nepal, in Katmandu and Bhaktapur and especially his suggestion for two nights at Dwarickas Resort in the mountains near Kathmandu. Our trip to Lhasa was fantastic and we were very amazed to see Lhasa and Potala. At the end. we loved our overland journey from Lhasa to Katmandu by Friendship Highway.
Our guides in the countries mentioned were sweet and special people and we are sure to have made new friends.
Thank you for making our dreams come true

We had a rather complicated and unique itinerary to work on. It did not take long for Sunir to understand, propose changes and pull all the resources necessary to make it happen, from guides to permits, all flawless in all of its 46 days covering Manaslu, Nar-Phu and eastern Annapurna. Highly recommended without a doubt.

In the last few years we have done 4 trekkings in Nepal. All were organised by Farout and we just can highly recommend them. Our treks to Mustang, Upper Dolpo to Jomson, Everest Base Camp and to Humla with Mt. Saipal were tailored to our wishes as we do not like to travel in groups and we also like to have our own walking-speed. Before each trekking we discussed all matters with Mr. Sunir Gurung by mail and he organized even the smallest details perfectly! During the treks we got spoiled by his lovely and well-trained staff (guide, cook, assistents) and even any change of route or flight due to bad weather had been a problem for them. Not to forget the very good quality of camping equipment. It has also to be mentioned that the food and all other service were excellent and that never anything had been forgotten to take with.
We are already planing our next trip (Kanchenjunga Base Camp) in October 2016 with Farout and we are convinced that our dreams come true again like the times before. Thank you Farout!

We did a trekking around Dhaulagiri in October/November 2015. Everything was very well organized by Sunir Gurung from FarOut Travel. We got a nice team with a competent guide and a fantastic kitchen crew, which spoilt us during the trip with delicious food (did you ever got a handmade pizza on 4000m altitude?). We were accompanied by six friendly porters. Each of them was fairly paid and completely insured. This is among others one of the great advantages of the FarOut travel company. Sunir stayed during our trip in regular contact with our guide to keep updated. We felt very comfortable with the organization.
In summary, we can highly recommend the FarOut team for doing individualized trekking in Nepal. Thank you so much and all the best!
