Everest Base Camp Short Trek takes us to the backyard of the world famous Sherpas, their faith in Buddhism, Namche Bazaar, the Sagarmatha National Park, the mightiest viewpoint of Kala Patthar and the Everest Base Camp itself. Furthermore, we reach Tengboche Monastery which is the highest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal and come close to four of the world's six tallest peaks: Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Due to relatively short visit in Kathmandu, Ganesh recommended this three-day trip for us. I was worried about my partner who has no hiking experience, and three-day hike might be too much. But the result both of us feels good about this trip. The guide Hari can adjust the trip depend on our physical status to ease the hiking. We enjoyed the way hike up to Chisapani from Sundarijal trail. Enjoyed to see small villages along the trail and some view, despite the trail is a bit steep. In the morning of the second day, the view at Chisapani tea house was amazing!!! The high mountains looks so close already. The Nagarkot hike on the second day is the best hike of the trip. We saw terrace files that didn't expect in the valley and the road was not steep at all. Lastly, as a suggestion, I would have arranged the trip in springtime to see some vegetation on the fields. Also, I wish I have spent more time in Nagarkot trail. Too rush to enjoy the view and interact with the villagers there. In addition, Dhulikhel is unnecessary to visit on the third day, even though it could be a famous tourist attraction. It would be perfect if Bhaktapur tour was arranged instead. Anyway, we arranged the trip in a rush but Ganesh and Hari are very professional and kind. I appreciate to have this wonderful and worry-free trip in the very first visit to Nepal. Definitely will visit Nepal to do longer hiking again. Will also introduce to average people a trip like Chisapani-Nagarkot-Bhaktapur to effectively enjoy the real Nepal effortlessly.

Before we arrived Nepal, our guide already helped us arrange everything, including pick-up at airport, domestic flight, and the journey to poon hill, making this trip easier. The service from greeting at the airport to the trekking is warm and professional. They are always on time and well prepared. Our guide Bhanja and porter Tika Ram are very kind and sweet. They cared about details and are able to speak some Chinese! Especially, they prepared fruits for us to get more energy every dinner, which I don’t see other trekker have this service. Looking forward to our next johnny with Backpacker Treks.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks hiking in Nepal in late Nov and early Dec with Backpacker Treks & Expeditions. We couldn't be happier with our choice! The owner, Rajesh, really took care of everything and our trek is very well organized. Our guide, Kumar, is fantastic and super caring throughout the trek. He really made sure that we feel well and adjust the itinerary accordingly. Our helper Arjung is also a delight to spend time with. All in all we feel very safe and the team is helpful and professional the whole. I highly recommend this company!

It was amazing and unforgettable journey to EBC and Gokyo Lake. The guides and porters treated us so nice and took care of us. Two of my friends got serious sickness above 5000m. The guide helped me a lot to arrange the helicopter to send them down to Kathmandu. The person in Kathmandu helped me a lot to take care of them. I was lucky to get this trekking group to help us to arrange all the trip. I will recommend hikers to apply the EBC trip through this group. They are very nice and professional to deal all the unexpected situation during the trip.

My husband and I hired Backpacker Treks and Expedition to our visit to Kathmandu and surroundings. Since the moment we arrived to Kathmandu airport 'till we left the service was outstanding, five stars. Hari received us with a welcoming collar flowers and goodbye us with a beautiful farewell scarf. They were always on time to pick up us from the hotel for our daily tours and the guide was well informed and answered all of our questions. We will recommend this company to everybody who is considering traveling to Nepal, which is a beautiful country with marvelous scenarios, beautiful and spiritual people and 100% secure to visit. I will go back soon and for sure and without hesitation will travel with this company again. Thanks for everything Rajesh, you are the best!
