We booked a 14 Nights/ 15 days Everest base camp trek organized by Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions. The entire experience was just so wonderful and hassle free. Local Guides – Our Sherpa Guide Mr. Rinji Sherpa was so expert, reliable and open. He made the complete trekking experience great! He was always around and also helps us to arrange various activities to make the journey more exciting. Arrangements - The trek was extremely organized initial from the trip briefing a day before we fly to lukla airport to the end of the expeditions. We had a briefing meeting in our hotel in Kathmandu where we were given a trek briefing of whole itinerary. We were also given duffle bags and good quality sleeping bags for the trek. Every small detail was thought of. After the trek, Sumba provided us very special one-hour ayurvedic massage, which was truly impeccable after the long hiking efforts. Food - The food on the trek was just delicious up there. Our guide Rinji make sure that we have enough food during whole trek. Every meals prepared in Local Sherpa lodge was well cooked and hygiene. From breakfast to the dinner, food was always good on the trip! We had our breakfast and dinner at the same lodge where we stay in overnight. The food is simple, but really very good, and the most important is our guide Rinji Sherpa provide us sufficient food to eat as per our choice. Accommodation – During the whole trek most of the rooms were clean, the dining room was heated well in the evening except few places in the higher altitude. We got even take a hot shower and buy Wi-Fi. We were very happy with the sleeping bags and the down jackets we borrowed from Mountain Sherpa Trekking. Lastly and the most essential, huge thanks to the porter who made this expedition so successful!! Our porter was so dedicated and hard working that we cannot thank him enough!! We highly recommend Mountain Sherpa trekking & expeditions for doing the Everest Base Camp Trek. Mr. Tandi Sherpa, Mr. Pasang Sherpa, our guide Mr. Rinji Sherpa and the porter was perfect and very helpful. Their service was mind-blowing!!

This is my second trek with Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions, and both experiences were excellent. My guide was a godsend, to get to the trailhead I had to navigate to far eastern Nepal by minibus and jeep, and he was with me every step of the way. The porter was local to the area and had a great attitude. Both guide and porter were steeped in regional knowledge and made this trek a real cultural experience. I honestly have no reason to work with any other trekking company in the Himalayas, a place I plan to return to as often as possible.

I did a 3 week solo tour from Jiri via Gokyo to E.B.C back to Lukla. I can recommend Mountainsherpa Trecking 100 Percent. Everything worked out perfect , from airport pick up until droppoff. Rinji was really the perfect guide. If you do a solo trip ,you are really flexible on your route , planning and speed, but you are not really allone , because you will meet a lot of nice and interresting people in the trek. Spezial thanks to Tandi , Rinji and my porter Pasang. Roland

Mountain Sherpa Trekking was the essential and integral part of our journey to Nepal and Tibet that took our trip to the next level. Without MST, the trip would not have been the same. Each day was arranged to maximize the sights and culture of Kathmandu and the surrounding villages, while permitting time to explore each location and also sufficient time to rest and relax. Our guide, Sumba, was quite knowledgable of the areas we explored, providing as much or as little information as our group was interested in listening to. MST provided skilled, safe drivers from our arrival to each day of touring. MST always presented us with safe, delicious lunch options where we didn't have to worry about what we were being served. The hotels were top-notch and provided all the amenities and comfort after each full day of touring. Our travels to Lhasa, Tibet were well-coordinated and MST arranged for local guides who spoke fluent English and continued the same level of services we had grown accustomed to in Nepal. I am already considering returning with my daughter to trek in Nepal and I know I will contact Sumba at MST when I do!

Mountain Sherpa provided an excellent trek experience. From first pick up at the Airport to the final drop off. They worked really hard to deliver the experience they described. Our guide Pemba, was a most helpful and understanding guide. He told us what to expect next and then made sure everyone was comfortable with the situation. He took good care of us in the mountains, when a tea house was overbooked, he found beds, and he even took care of another trekker who had been abandoned by her guide. All in all we could not have had a better experience thanks to Tandi and Pemba. The key point here is Mountain Sherpas work hard to give you exactly what they promised.
