From the first moment I contacted Sherpa Brothers Furba was incredibly helpful, tailoring an itinerary for our group of 6 in the Annapurna region. Everything was smoothly organized, we all had a highly memorable trekking experience. Pemba was an excellent, very well informed guide and I’d highly recommend them!!

Sherpa Brothers ran a fantastic tour for myself and 2 mates on the EBC trek. It was very pleasant to have everything included. Whenever it was a meal time, we pretty much ordered whatever and it was all covered. Where as other guests had to carry lots of cash or pay high credit card fees every meal. Helicopter ride back down is a must!

Although the half day tour had entry fees which were not included in the cost (approximately AUD$15 total).

Thank you for the great communication and tour Sherpa Brothers!

We did the 5 dat Mardi Himal trek in Annapurna with a guide from sherpa brothers (Pemba). We really enjoyed the trek! The guide knew a lot about the area, and made always sure that everything was fine with food and drinks etc. He also gave good advise about health questions, for example when we were worried about the altitude. We are really happy that we did the trek with sherpa brothers. Thanks a lot for the great experience!

Sherpa Brothers are a brilliant company. I dealt with Furba during the booking process and he was brilliant, answered my questions quickly and professionally. I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek, with a couple of days in Kathmandu and a a couple of days in Chitwan, 19 days in total. Every day was well planned out and the service I got from my porterguide, Ram, on the trip was brilliant. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, helpful, friendly and always positive. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and to recommend Sherpa Brothers to others wanting a great Nepal trip.

It was an absolute joy coming to Nepal with Sherpa Brothers, they took care of us from start to finish - picking us up at the airport, sorting out our local travel and showing us the best local food.

We did the ABC 10 day trek, it was our first big hike and our guide Pemba took AMAZING care of us. He always made sure we had a room with a great view of the mountains, let us go at our own pace and made sure we were happy. He taught us a lot about the Nepalese villages we visited and the mountain ranges - overall he was an incredible guide! We will be back to travel with Sherpa Brothers again!

I would describe thier team as knowledgeable, flexible, kind, saftey conscious, fun, challenging and adapatable to what you want your experience to be. We have treked with them mulitple times and would refer any friend or family to plan an unforgetable trip with this team.

I had the BEST time with the Sherpa Brothers trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. They were extremely knowledgeable, kept us safe and were fun to hang out with for our 10 days in Nepal.
They made sure I was ok when I struggled after being sick, even carried my pack for me, and kept our group together, healthy and in good spirits! I would recommend this group to anyone considering visiting Nepal.

Furba sherpa has done it again. Took our novice hikers group on 3 day trek and it was great. He had arranged everything and choices of tea houses was great. I have hired them several times now and we are treated like family. Highly recommend!

Over the last 21 years I, through my company Medex, have organised 5 large scale Expeditions to all corners of Nepal. These have been complex affairs with multiple objectives that include trekking, mountaineering and research into high altitude medicine. Between 50 and 75 members have participated in each trip. As you can imagine such complicated expeditions have required thorough planning and meticulous attention to detail.

For the first 2 Expeditions we used very large and well know Trekking Agents and had indifferent service. Then we discovered Sherpa Brother PVT who ran our trip to the Hongu and Hinku Valleys in 2003. Even in the midst of a the Maoist uprising this trip was a phenomenal success thanks to the hard work and planning of Tenji - the eldest of the 6 brothers. In 2008 we went to the Hidden Valley and Furba had, by then taken on much of the responsibility for running the company and his performance was superb. At the tender age of 23 he came as Sirdar and made the task of shepherding a multinational group of 60 folk around Dhualigiri and up to Mustang seem effortless. He managed to conjure jeeps for us all when the flights from Jomsom were cancelled enabling us to get back to Kathmandu in time to catch our international flights.

I am just back from Medex 2015 which saw 50 of us traverse the Manaslu Circuit with a research Base Camp at 5,100 metres just below the Larkya La. This time we had many things conspiring against us. Early on there was a very serious injury when a member stumbled and fell off the track. Furba and his team performed the rescue and arranged a swift evacuation. This Spring the snow was very heavy which meant that our Base Camp was deep in snow instead of being on an Alpine meadow. Despite this Furba managed, with his team, to get 670kg of research gear in the right place at the right time. A Herculean effort given the conditions. Then back in Kathmandu disaster struck in the form of a 7.9 magnitude earthquake that reduced the country to chaos. Sherpa Brothers once again came up trumps and made sure that the Medex team were safe and well cared for. Pemba, one of the younger brothers, became an almost permanent fixture at the airport ensuring that all members were able to fly out at the earliest opportunity despite the chaos at the airport and throughout Nepal.

In all my dealings with Sherpa Brothers over 12 years I have always had the utmost confidence in them. They behave professionally and yet provide a very friendly personalised service. They have great integrity and are very resourceful even in the face of a national calamity. I have no hesitation in recommending them whether your planned adventure is large and complex or a simple tea house trek for one person. You will not be disappointed and will make Sherpa friends for life!
