22 Days Kanchenjunga circuit trek

It is used to be a camping trek before 2010. Since a local tea house starts to spring up, Kanchenjunga trekking could be complete without camping gears. One of the strenuous nature, so the right level of fitness and previous trekking experience is required for this three-week trek. Being that Kanchenjunga lies in the far east of Nepal, close to the border of Sikkim, India, a special trekking permit is required to go here. As a result of fewer numbers of trekkers and the fact it falls within the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, the area is in pristine condition in terms of flora and fauna. The best time to trek here is September to November and March to May. Also, the times more teahouses will be open, providing accommodation to trekkers. Please discuss camp to the teahouse ratio with us! This trek starts with a flight to the east of the country, then travel by road to the starting point at Taplejung, from where we start walking.

I highly recommend to book your trek at Nest adventure. Service quality, prices, you'll have an amazing experience. But make sure to ask for Sandip as your guide! For our Manaslu trek Sandip supported us from the very beginning, making sure we feel comfortable, confident and safe even if my friend and I were not the most experienced trekkers. Sandip answered all our questions and it was crystal clear how much he loves being a guide and having us discover Nepal. Unfortunately, weather conditions didn't meet our expectations and we couldn't complete the circuit because Larke Pass was loaded with snow. But again, Sandip proved he is different from other guides (who were all making their groups walk back down): we could catch a helicopter ride and Sandip invited us for 3 days at his parents home. So we had so much more than we ever expected living a real Nepalese experience (cuisine, sightseeing, barbecue party, cricket play...)! So go for it, you won't regret!

We choose to go with Nest Adventure because we had a very good feeling with this company. When we first contact them they explained a lot by whatsapp-call about the trek but the also encouraged us to do our research and compare different companies. But after some research we decided to listen to our feeling and go for Nest! We arranged the last things with Harry and Sandip in the office in Thamel and we were ready to go! We started our 19 day adventure in Kathmandu where we flew to Lukla, the beginning of the three passes trek with Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar. We had an amazing guide. His name was Suman. Suman is a very experienced trekking guide. Super kind and he has a lot of knowledge to share about culture, life and religion in the trekking area and ofcourse about Nepal. He can answer all your questions but also enjoyed nature and walked silently with us for hours. Perfect for us!!! Suman is also very flexibele. Because of snowfall we could not do all the passes. Together with Suman we changed plans. He is always ready to help you. Even when you arrive in the guesthouse he will still be available to help you at all times. He checked our heartbeat and oxygen level every day. We never had such a great guide experience before! Thank you so much Suman. Also during the trek Suman was in touch with the company and we could speak to the company if we had a question. It just felt very good organized by Raj and his team. Unfortunately because of the corona virus all trekkings had to end but we were already on our way down so we were lucky we went all the way up. We were stuck near Lukla for a few days but the company and Suman arranged that we could go to Kathmandu after two days. That was very fast arranged. Thanks again Nest Adventure. We will definitely recommend you to other people and trek with you again in the future. The three passes trek is absolutely amazing. The views are incredible. Ofcourse there are hard days and more easy ones but we enjoyed it so much. It is so rough, prestine and pure! A lifetime experience and a reason to come back to Nepal for more trekking! We decided to go with Nest Adventure on our 17-days-circuit around Mt. Manaslu because of there high amount of incredibly positive reviews. The entire trip was well organised and we were very happy with our guide Kanchan. He cared for us like a caring father and was very knowledgable of the directions. Can highly recommend Kanchan as a guide and Neat Adventure as company.

My wife and I only had a brief stay in Nepal, but wanted to do a trek. We found the Nest Adventure Kathmandu Valley 3 day trek from Sundarijal to Chisapni and Nagarkot. The trek was fantastic with the magnificent Mountains as a backdrop. Our guide Kanchan was wonderful and made the experience very memorable. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the track, it’s surrounds and the local culture. We would definitely recommend Kanchan for this and any other trek. Thanks again Kanchan. We hope to trek with you again in the future. Greg and Sandra (AUS)
