Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek - Oct/Nov 2022
This was my second trek with HimalayaGuideNepal and as expected our Manaslu & Tsum Valley trek was fantastic from start to finish. Arranging the entire trip with Chandra via email was extremely easy and once we arrived all our needs were met from the time we were picked up at the airport until we left Nepal. Chandra also arranged for our group of five to go on a two-day guided tour of Kathmandu prior to our trek and we visited the old parts of the city along with many Buddhist and Hindu temples. Great two days of exploring the city. I can’t say enough good things about our trekking guide Bashu. He took great care of us and made sure we had an absolutely wonderful time throughout our entire trek. After trekking with Himalaya Guide Nepal two times, I highly recommend them for anyone considering a trip to Nepal. They are simply the best.

Spectacular!! Between Oct-November I was part of a 5-man group to visit Nepal and trek the Tsum Valley and Manaslu circuit. Spectacular in every way. This was my first experience in Napal and the Himalaya Guide Nepal service, by Chandra was exceptional and took care of all of our arrangements for the entire trip which improved the experience so much more not worrying about the details. The trip was flawless, the friends terrific, and our guide Bashu outstanding.
Chandra’s management of the process was perfectly prepared and executed from the moment we landed in Katmandu till we arrived back at the airport to return home. Chandra arranged sightseeing with guide Manraj for two days that left my mind spinning with so much information on the city and more importantly the cultures of Nepal. Just an amazing experience for two days.
Our trekking guide Bashu was spectacular. He looked out after every detail of our trek and made sure we had a safe and very enjoyable trip. Bashu shared his knowledge of so much along the way and helped us enjoy the local cultures which I love to do. His compassion for us was so evident and his demeaner so gracious. We all enjoyed each other’s company. As my partners on this trip have said, I can’t say enough about Bashu. He made this a trip I will never forget.
The Nepali people are so gracious and wonderful. Everywhere we went we were met with incredible graciousness and caring. So many great memories because of the people.
I hope to return some day for a different trek and will absolutely call on Himalaya Guide Nepal for their excellent services. I absolutely recommend them.

Fantastic experience! In August, 2022 friends invited me to participate in the trip they had arranged early in 2022. They had been to Nepal in 2018 and had used Himalaya Guide Nepal for that trek as well. The guide service was very accommodating and allowed me to join the trek even at such a late date. Our Trip Organizer, Chandra did an excellent job of putting together a well thought out itinerary. At my friends' request, Chandra incorporated 2 days of guided site seeing in Kathmandu before starting the trek. Our guide for these 2 days, Manraj, was very knowledgeable of the history of Nepal and provided lots of information about the Nepali culture and sites we visited in Kathmandu.
Our 19 day trek of the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley was guided by Bashudev. Bashu did an excellent job of keeping us safe, arranging for local accommodations and communicating with everyone along the way. I can't say enough good things about Bashu.
I strongly recommend Himalaya Guide Nepal if you are considering a trek in Nepal.
Our 19 day trek of the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley was guided by Bashudev. Bashu did an excellent job of keeping us safe, arranging for local accommodations and communicating with everyone along the way. I can't say enough good things about Bashu.

Kanchenjunga Trekking from 5th to 30th October 2022, first we walked from Taplejung to North Base Camp and then we crossed the Selele pass to South Base Camp. WE went back through Yamphudin (beautiful village and comfortable lodge), and in Kebang we took a jeep to reach the road to Ilam and Badhrapur
This the second time I deal with Chandra (Himalaya Guide Nepal), first time was Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek, and I did the right decision of choosing them.
Everything ran well during the trek, the HGN guide Bashu and the porters Lapka and Govinda were good people, reliable and friendly, which made easier to spend almost three weeks walking in the mountains.

We had a great time on the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley Trek. Overall we spent 17 days (including transfers) with our guide, Dinesh.
He was very attentive and always organized the best rooms for us and explained all details of the upcoming day.
The organziation of the trip was well managed, we had nothing to worry about (except the weather - but even for this we had a backup plan).
We felt in safe hands and can definitely recommend this agency, and of course especially, Dinesh.

In October 2022 we did the Manaslu/Annapurna Two Pass Trek with Himalaya Guide Nepal. Everything about this trip exceeded our expectations. Chandra and everyone at Himalaya Guide Nepal were very easy to work with. The trek itself was 21 days and we stayed in Nepal for another week afterwards. HGN supported us and helped us make travel arrangements for that part of the trip as well. The weather started out a bit rainy at the beginning of our trip but turned in to beautiful sunny days by day 2 or 3 of our trek. Everyone - from Chandra, our guides and our porters went out of their way to make sure we were as safe and comfortable as possible. The food was great, every day! The scenery was spectacular and everyone we met along the way was welcoming. Chandra and his staff took care of everything we needed from the minute we arrived in Kathmandu until we departed 34 days later. This was truly a "trip of a lifetime"! If you are looking for an experienced, reliable, friendly and highly reputable guiding company - this is it. You will not be disappointed.

I did a little bit of research prior to the trip and found a few people recommending to go in early December in order to miss the heavy crowd and get the best weather (if you're not scared of a little snow). However, because of a string of unexpected events I ended up arriving in Nepal on the 18th of December, starting the trek on the 19th, and finishing right on NYE.
Chandra was amazing to deal with from the start to finish, from planning my itinerary, to sorting our all of my permits prior to my arrival. I had Bashu as my guide and Umesh as my porter, and honestly couldn't have asked for better trekking companions.
It was my first time travelling solo, my first time in Nepal, and also my first time doing a trek of this scale. I was severely underprepared for this trek and weather conditions, however Bashu and Umesh both did their best to make sure I felt safe and comfortable all throughout my journey.
Some days you push your body to its absolute limit, but every single day you are rewarded with sceneries that are absolutely out of this world. Definitely a trip that will stay with me for life, and something I'll be recommending to everyone. Thank you Chandra, Bashu and Umesh for making it a smooth sailing journey for me! Can't wait to make my way back to Nepal and trek other parts of the Himalayas <3

We did the Manaslu circuit. Amazing trip, Chandra was very attentive to our needs setting up the Adventure. He listened to us and did an excellent job. Dinesh was our guide he also did a great job with our group. We had 11 people in our group, and Dinesh was able to make all 11 of us have a memorable time. I would HIGHLY recommend Himalaya Guide Nepal. Thank you again to Chandra and Dinesh for making our adventure so special.

Our Island Peak trek was well-managed by the guide. Even as weather conditions remained unpredictable, our guide was flexible with adjusting the arrangement to suit our objectives. We are sincerely thankful for the smooth experience that they have provided!
