My wife and I decided to travel to Nepal after our son traveled there a month earlier and was rescued by helicopter together with other hikers during a snowstorm. The hero of that story was Mukdi from Himalayas On Foot who came to the rescue. HOF then organized the perfect 12-day tour of Nepal for us, including a day of guided tourism in Kathmandu and 9 days of trekking to ABC. We've done many treks over the years and were not sure we needed to organize this trek through a company, but in the end we decided to go that route and were extremely happy that we did. We had the perfect porter/guide named Dipak who not only guided us through the trek, making wise choices for changes in the itinerary based on the weather and other factors, but also introduced us to Nepali culture, answering the many questions we had about life in Nepal, both in the traditional village and modern city. We benefited both from a beautiful trek during the blossoming of the rhododendron trees, and immersion in Nepali culture. Finally, we were met by Mukdi in Pokhara at the end of our trek. His hand was on the pulse throughout our trip. He realized that due to the weather, we would not be able to fly back to Kathmandu as planned and quickly organized a car to drive us back, enabling us to make our connecting flight back home. The perfect trek and the perfect trekking company. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Himalayas on Foot for making my FIRST ever visit to Nepal such a memorable one! Also, thanks to our guides and porters, Raj and Sudeep, for assisting us throughout the entire trip with assessing our capabilities and taking care of us all the way till the end of the trip. The whole trip was very well organised and very attentive to each every individual in the group; from our meals to making sure each of our oxygen levels and heartbeats are good to making sure no one is left behind. I will definitely be back to hike with this great crew again. Thank you guys!

This trek was my 3rd time in Nepal & 2nd time with Himalayas On Foot (HOF) We had the same guide, Raj leading the trek. As with my previous Manaslu Circuit trek 2 years ago, our main guide, Raj led our group this time with success throughout the 14 days trek. He was assisted by 2 other guides, Sudeep & Tara who were all very helpful in assuring our safety through the trek, esp when trekking over the the very challenging Renjo La. Raj was always very organised in attending to our daily trekking needs, food & lodging. Apart from his friendly nature, he was caring to ensure our good health throughout the trek duration. Thanks to the HOF team, Raj, Sudeep, Tara & the others 5 porters for making the trek a success! Highly recommended for leading your trek.

This is my 3rd time using the service of Himalayas on Foot. The main guide,Raj, has been with me for all the 3 treks. Raj and the other 2 assistant guides, Sudeep and Tara, had been very helpful. Without them, our group of 12 could not had made it over the Renjo Pass safely. When the plane could not fly in to Lukla due to weather, Raj was able to organize the helicopter in a short notice. All of us were able to return to Kathmandu in time to catch our flight back home. Kudos to the team from Himalayas on Foot for making this a memorable trek for us.

What an experience the group had during this trek. Our most unforgettable day when the group had to start trekking at 5am across the Renjo Pass from Gokyo to Lunden. A few of the members in the group struggled and our guides - Raj, Sudeep and Tara - and the porters assisted and ensured everyone reaches Lunden safely. A very big thank you!!!
