About Nepal Sanctuary Treks - Day Trip
At Nepal Sanctuary Treks, we believe in socially and environmentally responsible, sustainable tourism. Our personalized services are guided by these principles and our 27 years of experience in the field of trekking is invaluable in helping us give our clients quality service every step of the way. Our clients are predominantly sole male or female, small groups and family for whom we prepare tailor-made itineraries to suit their personal needs. However, we do occasionally handle larger groups, especially charity groups, Incentive groups and school parties with special interest in the Nepal Himalaya. Keeping in mind the anxiety of parents, we give top priority to the children's security while in our care. At the same time, we allow the children to enjoy what the Himalayas have to offer, to their complete satisfaction. We also provide our service to handicapped and Visually Impaired people with a special care for their holidays in the Himalayas. It gives us immense pleasure to play host to repeat clients as well as first time visitors who have been recommended by some of our regular clients. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and make every client's visit to Nepal a memorable experience.

The Annapurna Base Camp is a high glacial basin lying 40 km directly north of Pokhara. This oval-shaped plateau sits at an altitude of over 4000 meters and is surrounded by a ring of mountains, the Annapurna range, most of which are over 7000 meters. It is a classic trek to Annapurna base camp situated under the immense south face of Annapurna. The trek passes through the middle hills of Nepal with Gurung villages and forests of oak, magnolia and rhododendron. The trail then follows the Modi Khola River into the Sanctuary where you enter a hidden amphitheatre with a superb view of snowy peaks. This is not particularly difficult trek although there are some steep climbs and a few narrow bridges. It is a good a trek to do if you would like to get into the high Himalayas without the longer acclimatization period required for some of the other trek. The highest altitude reached is 4,130m at Annapurna Base Camp.

This incredible trek in the Everest region is not just a thrilling trip but also a picturesque trek. It is one of the classic treks of the world as it trails to Everest Base Camp followed by Cho La (5,380m/17,650ft) and Renjo La (5,388m/17,513ft) passes.  The trek starts from Lukla heading towards Namche bazaar, whilst encounter authentic Sherpa culture  and the warm hospitality of the families of inborn mountaineers. You will be in Buddhist Sherpa territory where you will see colorful prayer flags, Buddhist chanting in the walls and monastery.
