Nectar Spa is owned and run by Trained, Certified, and Experienced Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor, Mr. Amrit Thokar ("Amrit" means "Nectar" in Nepali). We believe the experience of touch is therapeutic in nature.We welcome you to experience the healing, calming and rejuvenating experience of touch given to you by caring,warm and skilled Professionals. I had an incredible massage with Rita. She is seriously special, as are all of the therapists that work there. I recently booked a surprise massage for my husband there, He came home so relaxed and completely blown away. Plus, they offer seasonal spa package . We went there for a foot massage, the place smelled damp with little flickering lights to no light. The two men who seemed to work there were not very focused. We only wanted foot massage and reflexology, we waited for 30mns before anyone came over to take care of us. We ended up politely apologizing and leaving to another spa.

Thank you for your time to review about us. Sorry for what you have experienced, how ever you and your partner came to our spa before we are open. After covid, we are open only after 10 am.

One of the best and authentic massage i've ever had. I was really impressed by her massage techniques. How i wish there's a massage therapist good as her back in my country......But nonetheless, thank u Nectar Spa as well as Kamana for the most delightful service.🙏

When I tell you this by far was one of the best massage experiences I have received in Kathmandu. My journey throughout Thamel and Lumbini. One week…I was here 3x!!
Sumi and Alisha - extremely sociable and made my experience a true pleasure by explaining each massage and providing the best customer service.
Binita- she provided a 90 minute deep tissue. Different pressure but, soothing as well. She was precise in her points she focused on and nice as well.
Kamana - sociable and strong. She provided two massages for me (Deep Tissue and Foot) and I can say she is great at her craft and hits all points of soreness and provides a great stretch.

Nectar Spa is AMAZING. The staff are so friendly and approachable and the Owner and Manager is absolutely wonderful. I had an incredible massage with Rita. Moreover, Nectar Spa’s massage center is a truly a nectar of “healing hands”. Because, for me if its either after hours of trekking in mountains or after busy visiting around it was always a joy to find myself in trusted, highly experiensed hands of professional massagists of NECTAR SPA. Also, I was very fortunate to try their brand new full body scrub and steam, where for scrub they would mix petals of rose, rice powder, water and some magic essential oil right in front of you. Even you can participate to make your very own scrub paste. So, if you want to feel like a rose, do that! For sure you are going to smell like one :) Personally, I loved it. It’s very original and would highly recomment for anyone to visit. Cheers! ☀️

I did a four day Yoga and cleansing, Amrit and his team where absolutely fantastic, and super welcoming.
The program was quite complete and demanding and I felt gently guided and slowly pushed without never been asked to be beyond my limit, allowing me to progress more in five days that I could ever imagine.
A perfect place to stop for a 1 or two hours massage or to learn more about yoga and ayurveda.That you come back from a trek, going on a trek or just want to threat yourself this is the best spa I found in town!

I just had the best massage of my life. I’ve returned from a 13 day trek to Everest Base Camp. Komal was fabulous. Thank you thank you. I’m booking again before I leave Kathmandu in 2 days.
