We are a well-established company running trekking, mountain expedition and tours since 1990. Thousands of trekkers and travelers alike have availed of our services and regularly offer feedbacks. Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition operates jointly with its sister company, Nexus Travel & Tours, offering a full range of travel services, including national and international air ticketing, hotel booking, transportation, helicopter tour packages etc. Both our field and office staffs are professional, well educated and adequately trained. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and all of them belong to the local community. They are also well-versed in communication in many foreign languages including English. We have top-notch mountain and climbing guides with excellent track record in outdoor activities. They possess in-depth knowledge of local culture, people and customs.

We booked a 7 day trip (including 5 day trek to Gosaikunda lake). It all worked out beyond our wildest expectation!
Nava was very helpful in planning our itinerary. In only 3-4 days he managed to send us multiple itineraries to choose from designed to our requirements. After we had selected the one we liked Nava went ahead and confirmed the bookings and was in constant contact with us informing us of the airport transfer details to who will meet us at the airport etc.
I also discussed with Nava my intentions to propose to my girlfriend while in Kathmandu and he suggested some ideas for it. We went ahead with one to make it happen while trekking to Gosaikunda Lake.
As a part of our itinerary we were given a guide. Prem, was without a doubt the best guide we have ever met! He was very humble and hospitable. From the morning we met him he was always paying attention to our needs. He explained to us the plan for the trek and with our permission he adjusted the trekking itinerary to suit our style. As we were pretty new to trekking uphill he made sure to gives us plenty of breaks and time to adjust as we climbed up.
Prem organized everything from lodging to our meals while we trekked. He is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide, this was showcased in the manner in which he went about his job. He was very friendly and was always having nice and friendly chats with us and telling us all the stories about their religion, culture and all mythological stories & history about Nepal.
On the final day at the top of the trek, Prem spoke to me privately and mentioned that Nava had told him about my plan to propose to my girlfriend. He then told me the place with the best view & angle to get the job done. I didn't even need a professional photographer as Prem did a perfect job taking such great natural pictures of our beautiful moment. I had also mentioned we were hoping to see some snow during our trek. Prem was so well prepared that he even had bought a small snow can in advance and used it to make the moment extra special!
Our whole experience in Nepal was quite amazing thanks to Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition. And it was made extra special thanks to Prem and he's experience, ESPECIALLY his humble, friendly and welcoming nature.
If anyone is ever planning to Trek in Nepal with this company we HIGHLY recommend requesting Prem Dahal as your guide!
He will truly make your stay in Nepal memorable and perfect!

The whole trip went perfectly and was very well planned.
Suren is a professional guide and has a very good all-round knowledge of culture and history. The hiking team was also very well assembled, the young chef was especially praised:)

Walking to the foot of the highest mountain in the world was our dream, which, with the help of the Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition organization and Mr. Nava Raj Dahal, became a reality. NETE is a highly professional service provider, which I would like to recommend to everybody who is interested in exploring the wonders of Nepal in great company. My wife and I hiked for three weeks from Tumlingtar in the Arun Valley through the touristically barely touched Mahabharat Hills to the Khumbu Region, climbed the Gokyo Ri, and returned via Namche Bazaar to Khari Kola. It was the second time we have travelled with both NETE's wonderful guide Hari, and Ghopal, the incredible strong and experienced porter. We are already planning the next adventure with them.

This is my 2nd time doing a trek with Nepal environmental Treks & Expedition.
It definitely not fail me again. Me and my friends had a great and memorable time. Despite being in a harsh weather condition which we Singaporeans are not very use to, our guide Mr Hari continuous encouragement and motivation kept us going. His experience gave us assurance and because of that all of us made it to EBC base camp safely considering it was the first for the rest of my friends Kudos to Mr Hari !!!🙏🏻

Amazing experiences, closer to heaven. The opportunity to observe people who live differently, poorer, but with great kindness towards strangers. We walked around Manaslu and into the Tsum Valley.
Guide Ratna and porter Gopal were incredibly helpful and took care of all our needs. And also peace in action and joy of life.
The organizer fulfilled all of its obligations. Contact with Him was a great pleasure. We started our adventure in Kathmandu with a dinner together with other groups from several countries who were finishing their journeys. Nava, Ratna, Gopal- Thank you.

This agency is excellent in organizing treks in Nepal. We contacted them by email in advance of our trip, all very nice and very short response time to all our questions. After our arrival all was perfectly organized. We had an enjoyable trekking in the Annapurna region with our very nice and knowlegable guide Ratna. We were very fortunate that we had found this agency it would definitly recommend it. Will come back again!

We booked a trip to Gokyo months ago. Sadly the weather didn't allow us to fly to Lukla so we had to change plans. Environmental Trekking was amazing in organising an alternative. We had a fantastic hike up the Langtang valley for 10 days. The guide and porters were great people making sure we had everything we needed. No problems at all. FYI we also travelled with this company in 2015 at the time of the huge earthquake. As with this time our plans were disrupted but Nava and his team excelled under extremely difficult circumstances and looked after us exceptionally well.

This was the third time we've used Environmental Treks and Expeditions for a family trek in Nepal. The first time was in December 2010 (2 adults 2 children aged 6 and 8) when we trekked to Annapurna Sanctuary. Then in December 2015 with another family to Gokyo and Everest Base Camp. This time in December 2019 we attempted the Annapurna Circuit with our kids who are now 15 and 17, but due to Thorong La being closed due to snow in late December we backtracked and went to Langtang to finish off our 15 days of trekking. Our guide (Hari Krishna Sapkota) was the same guide that we had for the Everest Trek, and it was good to catch up with him again. Hari led us to our destination each day, selected our lodges and managed the porters and logistics in a professional and behind-the-scenes way. Nava, the owner of the trekking company arranged a briefing before and after the trek, and ensured any questions that we had were answered to our satisfaction. As this was the 3rd time we'd used the company it was very easy to book, arrange things, and interact with them. We've trekked in Nepal 8+ times over the past 30 years, and have seen many different organisations and guides over that time. Although we had successfully completed the Circuit without a guide or porters before the kids came along, we returned to Environmental Treks & Expeditions for our family trek because of their high professionalism and organisation, experience and advice and quality of guides. Nava cares about his clients, and for family groups he and his guides pay special attention re safety and enjoyment. Hari has a wealth of experience and a gentle but firm guiding style. Thanks for a fantastic trek!

They were very professional in organzing our entire hike to EBC. Even when there were no flights, they arranged for transport to bring us to another airport. The guides were also really experienced and they were very much in control thru the whole trip. I would highly recommend them for your treks in nepal.
