Raya Tours provided an exceptional experience during our mission trip in Nepal. From numerous tours of temples in Kathmandu to riding elephants in Chitwan to staying at the beautiful Hotel Country Villas in Nagarkot to watch the sunset over the Himalayas, we couldn't have had a better experience. They thought of everything, including having water available at all times.

The team from Raya tours was phenomenal and surpassed all expectations. I hiked the Mardi Himal trek with Hridaya and Pasanh - they were both helpful, informative, and so much fun to travel with.
Highly recommend requesting them for your next Nepali adventure! And bring a few decks of cards. The hours spent resting in the tea house fly by when you’re having fun as a group.

Raya tours worked with us on several groups trips. They were amazing to work with, making accommodations and changes with us real time while we were in country and wanting to expand our trip. The office team, and the tour guides were all amazing and prompt. Having traveled all over the world, I can't say enough good things about the Raya team. Would highly recommend!

We went on a 4 day trek for Mardi Himal at the beginning of September. Though this was the end of the rainy season, we lucked out with the weather and views! We saw beautiful lush forest, high mountain peaks. Bijesh and I were able to create an itinerary that worked with our timing and energy, and our guide Hridaya made adjustments as needed based on our speed and likings. Our sherpas were so sweet and supportive. Plane tickets in country, site seeing and shopping as well as great hotel were included in our package. Have gone on two treks with Raya tours and would definitely recommend them.

We successfully completed the trek to Everest Base Camp. Raya Tours did an excellent job in coordinating the trek in spite of many changing requests and requirements. Our guide, Hridaya, was excellent and did his very best to meet our requests and to plan ahead. I would highly recommend them in organizing a trek for others.

Wanna ride an elephant? Or swim with one? Raya Tours and Travels is your contact for a chance to interact with these gentle creatures at Chitwan National Park, in Nepal. The animals are protected, cared for, and you can support conservation efforts. But as for your tour: Raya can arrange lodging, ensure transportation from Kathmandu, schedule your program and tailor it to your wishes (you can also canoe down a river with crocodiles if that's your thing). For a once-in-a-lifetime trip, (or maybe more because you will love how smoothly the whole thing goes) try Raya Tours. They will ensure you have an incredible experience.

Me and my two friends trekked to Everest base camp with Raya tours. It was a 10 day tour. Hridaya was our guide and he was excellent. He constantly was working to make each day great. This is a hard trek but the team at Raya tours made it fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend them. They were very trustworthy and reliable which is always a concern when you are doing a big adventure like this!
We took the helicopter down from Gorak Shep to Kathmandu which worked great and was spectacular! If you can take at least a helicopter to Lukla from Gorak Shep!

Raya Tours set up a fun-filled, 4-day 3-night excursion to Chitwan National Park for a group of 15 of us who had worked on a Habitat for Humanity build outside of Pokhara. It included ox-cart rides, elephant safari, local cultural events and more. Raya then set up a comprehensive package for my wife and me that included a 120 mile trip to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buhhdha, flights back to Kathmandu, guided tours of the 7 World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley, and a fantastic 9-day trek through the "hills" around the Kathmandu Valley. Raya's owner joined our group in Chitwan, maintained phone contact with our guides throughout our journeys, and met with us numerous times for constant feedback. The detailed planning needed some adjustments when my wife twisted her ankle, and Raya accommodated. This is a wonderful company with a very personal touch.

I wasn't sure about completing a trek so the 6-day one with Raya was perfect (also called the Royal Tour?) Bijesh worked with me and was always available via e-mail to work out a plan. I had a tight window of time and he fit it perfectly. All the details were taken care of from the domestic flights (Kathmandu to Pokhara and return) to a tour of Pokhara and the trek itself. My guide Chandra took excellent care of me and encouraged me when things got a little tough (the 3000 plus steps to the sky?? LOL) Upendra was amazing as my porter. I don't know how the porters do it. A 90-minute massage was included at the end of the trek and essential for tired muscles! I would definitely book with Raya again. My 6-day was perfect for anyone a little unsure about whether or not they can handle a longer trek.
