We did a custom 8 day tour. Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, Dhampus, Pokhara, Kathmandu. Ryan and our driver Gopal were great, and made sure to proactively communicate with us along the way. The highlights of the trip were the Chitwan National Park (we saw Rhinos in the wild), the hike and overnight in Dhampus (amazing sunrise views of the Annapurnas, and a great guide), and the tour of Bhaktapur (another great guide to this medieval city). Our hotels all had friendly staffs, and were comfortable.

We took the private car from Kathmandu to Chitwan, and then Chitwan to Pokhara...while the drives had lots of beautiful scenery, we had seen enough and decided to fly Yeti Air back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. 30 min flight instead of 6+ hours on narrow, bumpy, windy roads. $100 per person, totally worth it.

Would highly recommend working with Ryan and the Himalayan smile team to plan your trip.

Wow what a Fantastic trek thank you so much to Himalayan smile and putting us at ease with everything it was all perfect. I’d also like to especially mention dai Dharma and dai Raju, they made the trip so relaxing and honestly without them we wouldn’t be as happy. They are brilliant guides and porter they deserve a lot of recognition. Every step was made easy, dharma dai asked if I was okay all the time and always wore a smile on his face always putting our needs first. Dharma went above and beyond to ensure we not only were safe and happy but we had the most amazing trip of a life time. Raju was extremely patient and so hard working, I’ll never forget these two and the trek at poon bill. Simply amazing

We were looking for a good tour group to guide us on our holiday to Nepal and we chanced upon Himalayan Smile Treks. It was the best tour decision we've ever made. All the accommodation they provided and food they introduced us to was pitch perfect. The 6 days and 5 nights trek that our family gone through were smooth and extremely enjoyable due to the patient and kind attitude of the guide. We saw many wondrous and picturesque scenes during the trek. The tour guide was reassuring and encouraging and even helped a child finish the trek without much complains .I strongly recommend Himalayan Smile Treks to anyone coming to Nepal and looking for a good tour group. We wouldn't have enjoyed this trip much if not for the guidance of the guides.

Muy friend and I went to the Namche Bazaar trek and spent Christmas there! Our guide Promod was really patient and preoccupied that everything turned out right. The views and trek was amazing all the time.

In Katmandú KP was always caring that we had a good time. And all services were perfect.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. It is a UNESCO world heritage site declared in 1979. The old palace is located in the current town of Bhaktapur, 13KM east of Kathmandu. I visited the place last month. I hired a Maruti at a cost of 2K NPR for both-way from Kathmandu and it took 1 hour to go to the palace. While returning, it took me about 2 hours due to huge traffic inbound to the city.

The Durbar Square was severely damaged by the earthquake in 1934 and hence appears more spacious than the others, in Kathmandu and Patan. Originally, there were 99 courtyards attached to this place, but now only 6 remain. Before the 1934 earthquake, there were 3 separate groups of temples. Currently, the square is surrounded by buildings that survived the quake. On 25 April 2015, another major earthquake damaged many buildings in the square. The main temple in Bhaktapur's square lost its roof, while the Vatsala Devi temple, famous for its sandstone walls and gold-topped pagodas, was also demolished.

It is a popular tourist place in Kathmandu. There is a nominal entry fees for foreigner. Lots of eateries are available inside the Darbar Square. There are many souvenir shops inside.

We booked the Mardi Himal trek, and not only was the trek wonderful but also Himalayan Smile provided us with wonderful tours of Katmandu. Out trek guide and porters were attentive and always concerned for our safety. A special shout-out to Sabin, our patient and thoughtful guide. Our Katmandu tour guides were wonderful and added so much to our trip. We asked for changes mid-trip, and Himalayan Smile accommodated us immediately. It was a wonderful trip and very affordable.

Myself and a friend did a 3 day trek to Poon Hill with "Himalayan Smile Treks and Adventures. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We went in June 2018 which is the first month of the Monsoon season. we were lucky with the weather but it does tend to rain for a few hours every day during June.

The first day of the trek was from 1,100 m to 2,000 m, mainly through the valleys of the Annapurna Conservation Area. The views were amazing and our guide organised everything, including tea breaks at the many tea houses on the trail :). The second day began at about 8 a.m. we stopped for lunch along the way and reached our accommodation at about 2 or 3 p.m. the accommodation was nice but basic, again reserved by the tour provider.

the next morning we started at 4:30 to get to the top of Poon Hill for sunrise, unfortunately it was quite cloudy that say so we couldn't see much. the hot milk tea from the shop at the summit of Poon hill is highly recommended :). after this we had breakfast at the tea house where we had stayed the previous night and began our descent

The transport back to Pokhara was provided by the trek company. the guide and porter were brilliant, all our accommodation and food/water for the Trek was included except for alcohol or soft drinks (coke). The accommodation is basic but nice, bringing a towel is highly recommended as some tea hostels will have be able to provide these.

Thank you, Mr. Conor, we appreciate you a lot for trekking with us. Your thoughts about the trekking experience means a lot. However, it was sad to hear the unfortunate bad weather in Poon Hill. But we're quite sure you enjoyed the overall trek ;) We wish you a good fortunes ahead and visit again. Lots of love from Nepal!

Mustang trek was a marvelous experience filled with moments dedicated to only enjoyment and fun. The sceneries were fantastic, out of this world!
The organization was perfect due to KP Subedi vast experience and understanding of his customer's needs. We also had a great crew to support us: many thanks to KP, Jayram Gurung, Pramod Pangeni and his brother and Dharma.

Trekking with Himalayan Smile Treks & adventures

Since I was a child I had a dream of once going to the mighty Sagarmatha. When I was medical student I missed an opportunity, but now at 55 I grasped my chances. Finding trekking companies for the Solukhumbu is not difficult. But a good one, I found only by studying well the different websites, testimonials and even contacting TAAN. Himalayan Smile treks was a big hit, for sure. From the preparative contacts to a warm welcome arriving in KTM. Mr. Suman is a young trekking entrepreneur, who knows his world, has nearly familiar and very friendly contact with his clients, which become friends of him. I can assure you that.

His guides have the same spirit. Michael, my guide, was as a brother for me. He learned me to know better his beautiful country with its friendly people. He has his heart on the right spot, like we say in Europe. Our "social" discussions at the dinner table were nice endings of fruitfull trekking days. When at an evening in Lobuche AMS lurked a little bit around the corner, Micheal was there with his garlic soup, so I could proceed my way.

Seeing Everest from almost 6000m, was the climax of this sunny and splendid week, full of emotions, I will never forget. Like the real expeditions, we stayed too long at our secret viewpoint. So we had to do nightwork (with headlamps), to be back at time in Lukla, very exciting.

Back in KTM, Suman personally offered me a nice sightseeing tour through KTM en Bhaktapur.

To say goodbye to my friends Suman and Michael at the end was not simple, but occasionally of a short time. Because of a Indian visa problem I had to stay one day longer in KTM. I called the only person I knew in KTM, Suman. What he did that day was top-level service (he arranged everything for my: new VISA, he gave me a extra KTM tour, a fantastic hotel at a fairly good price, etc…).

If I come back for another trekking, surely it’s with Himalayan Smile treks, they are simply the best!!!
