A great morning with sweet Aarzoo in Kathmandu walking along the streets and eating freshly made breakfast. The masala chiya we got was rhe best I have ever tried. Thank you!

We went on a lovely streetfood tour with Backstreet Academy and let me tell you: it was one of our better decisions. We ate all the best local food in places we couldn't hope to find for ourself. But for one, where we did go again because the lassi was too good. You want a capable and friendly guide, who will take you on a foodie adventure? Look no further, you've come to the right place.

As a solo traveller and a foodie I wanted to explore and experience a more local side to Kathmandu life and was recommended the breakfast food tour. Shree my guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable, kind, engaging and made me feel right at home. He asked about dietary requirements and took me to some really interesting and delicious local spots whilst providing an excellent commentary on local life in Kathmandu. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We LOVED the Secret Food Tour with Backstreet Academy - our guide was so friendly and helpful, and he took us to some amazing places. We tried a lot of different food (some of which we had never even heard of) and they had no problem catering for me as a vegetarian. The range of dishes was fantastic, and value for money was brilliant. A wonderful (and very filling) way to see Kathmandu!
