Welcome to Tranquility Spa, the largest Spa in Nepal. We are the first Day Spa Center to be established in Nepal and recognized by Nepal Tourism Board. As a family run business we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional holistic experience to our guest.

I first tried Tranquility Spa back in 2014 and have become a regular client ever since. I have been to most of their branches in KTM and the one in Pokhara too and I must say every location is just as good!
I usually choose between Aromatherapy and Ayurvedic Massage depending on how tired I am. Aromatherapy is a lighter massage while Ayurvedic massage involves more pressure on the body. The massages come with a 60 or 90 minute option but because they are so relaxing, I usually go for 90 mins. You also have the option of taking a shower before/after your massage.
Their facilities are always clean, fragrant and well-managed. The massage rooms and their soothing music provide the perfect ambience for one to get comfortable in and relax. The masseuses are very professional; they ensure that you're comfortable and are getting the right amount of pressure that suits you.
The spa has courteous, attentive and well-kempt staff. Considering the current living standard of Nepal, Tranquility Spa services are very reasonably priced. Their gift vouchers also come in handy for gifts and special occasions.
For me each session is worth it because I always leave Tranquility feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Highly recommended for all :)

After a Volunteer session one of the Earthquake areas, my body, mind and spirit was in great need of a relaxing massage. Tranquility Spa, had been highly recommended by friends, whom raved about the service. That in mind, I stopped in for a 90 minute Ayurvedic massage treatment, which was heaven.
For whatever reason, I choose to use my credit card, added a tip, and signed away in a blissful state. I thanked Rajin for the service and went on my way. A week later, I happened to review my credit card statement to find a $439 charge for my massage, yikes, and I was in Thailand. A call to my bank, then a reassuring call to Rajin, whom admitted a misplaced decimal point had shown up when he cashed out that evening, and he had my cash refund waiting my return. He also stated, he had no way of contacting me( Ihad changed Sim Cards). Over the period of about 3 weeks, and couple of worried calls to Rajin, who assured me the bank refund had been issued, my credit appeared on my account.
I applaud the superior customer service, Tranquility Spa provided, and I want your management to know what a great ambassador you are Rajin. Thank you so much, and I look forward in the future to shaking your hand, oh, and having another massage :)

It was great experience getting treatment at Brilliant place, so beautifully furbished, decorated and located. An oasis of peace and tranquillity. The staff were all friendly, caring and very professional. Murni made my experience unforgettable, but all the girls there were amazing, which are worth the money. It is a must

Recommend to this spa. I had high expectations. Sadly these were not met. After massage sauna not available,steam not available,shower not offered, no soap. Advised have your manicure then sauna will be ready. Manicure not good, nails still dirty. Reception staff said they were happy with my manicure. Surely it is I who should be happy. Advise not to visit this spa

I have some experience in massage therapy and have also received many treatments in the past. I just received a Swedish Massage at the Kupondole Tranquility Spa. I have been to others in the past, Lazimpat is excellent and Thamel is good but I was disappointed with the Kupondole location. The massage was good but on walking into the room the temperature was cool and the sheets on the table were terribly dirty with oil stains. I had to ask for them to change the table sheet before I felt comfortable to lay down. The robe they gave me was also dirty. I felt disappointed that the temperature of the room was also very cool; with only a sheet for coverage it was a slightly chilly massage. I would give feedback to the management here that clean sheets and towels need to be used for every new client, as is good practice in the industry. I would not go back until I could be assured of this.
If you are female and in the Patan area I would recommend going instead to Aroma Spa, (ladies only) in Sanepa/Jhamsikhel, near to Hermann's Bakery. It is half the price and 10 times better.

While the facilities of the spa at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu are really nice, the massage I got was below average. The therapist was really weak and her bones cracked all the time which was really unpleasant. I had an Ayurvedic massage which was a normal oil massage, unfortunately the oil wasn't warm like it's supposed to be with an Ayurvedic massage. The therapist just did her program she didn't really work at any spot, I felt completely the same afterwards. She finished after 55 minutes even though it was supposed to be 60 minutes. Moreover the room was too cold. In total a very disappointing experience.

I went for a Shirodhara treatment at the Kupondole branch and i will never ver go there again: the staff is surprisingly unfocused, kind-of dabbler style ; the atmosphere is everything but cozy and quiet ; the price is too high for the quality of the massage itself. well it has been for me a complete bad experience!

Tried the Reflexology foot massage after a trek and had and amazing relaxing time.. Wasn't expecting the spa to be of this high standard.. Really clean and hygienic.. Highly recommend you all to try this Spa..

It was my last day in Kathmandu, Nepal and the best thing to end my visit with! Thanks to my lovely friend for introducing me to this place. My mother and i had gotten a 90 min Ayurvedic massage which i must say was lovely! amazing place, great service, lovely masseuse, peaceful (best when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!)

Visited several times.had a couples oil massage ,foot massage and traditional tranquility spa special massage was wonderful . The spa itself is clean and comfortable with very nice private room for couple or individuals . All therapist were professional and the setting was very nice. The staff was respectable.thank you for a great experience .tea is my new favourite drinks!! Definitely make an appointment in advance as this place gets busy!!!!
