When my sister and I decided to go online for Nepal tours, my sister found Adventure Land Nepal. She emailed Adventure Land Nepal and the owner Mr Chij was very quick in replying. He was very patient in answering and replying all of our questions and he made us a great itinerary based on our many requests.
Mr Chij was the one who welcomed us when we arrived in the airport. We had an 8 day tour Nepal. First, we did some sightseeing in Kathmandu. The guide was knowledgeable of the story and history of the place. The next day, we went to Chitwan and did the jungle safari tour. Mr Chij was also able to incorporate a one day hiking from Dhampus to the Phedi as per our request to see the Himalayas with the restraint of not being physically fit for long hikes. We also did the Sarangkot sunset view and some sightseeing in Phewa Lake. All guides were very friendly, helpful, and informative. They answered all our questions and accomplished all our impromptu requests.
I can highly recommend Adventure Land Nepal. They have good itineraries, friendly guides, and provide value for your money.

There was no trekking on our tour, just plenty of steps to temples and lookouts!
The tour promised scenery, history and culture and we saw plenty of all of them, the highlight being sunrise at Annapurna.
Having organised our trip by email, it was great to be met at the airport by Mr Chij and our driver for the trip, Bishal. We were lucky enough to also have a tour leader, Kshitiz, who excelled in getting our days organised.
Our driver was very experienced and safe, which was just as well on the winding roads!
We visited Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Nagarkot, Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan. We had a local guide for the day at the major sites.
We had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend this tour to other seniors.

We found Adventure Land Nepal Tour Company on line and compared it with others. They were really the best ones in terms of prices and itineraries.
The Owner Mr Chij was very responsive by email and WhatssApp while preparing the trip and suggested several different offers depending on the hotels needed (3, 4, or 5 stars) proportionally to the budget needed. The itineraries were very well-prepared and he was open for additional suggestions from both sides.
Mr Chij welcomed us at the airport with the great Suraj, very nice and knowledgeable guide/driver/trekker/hiker…throughout most of our journey.
Bhum was the guide for Katmandu and took us to very nice places, while Bibek drove in other parts, very nice fellow too.
The service was very friend and professional. The company is highly recommendable to anyone willing to go to Nepal. There are great temples to see and lots of beautiful landscapes.
The team is very friendly and I hope we will meet them again.

I and my friends from Amsterdam traveled together to Nepal. I found Adventure Land Nepal Tour Company on line then I decided to go with this company and they were one of the best tour operator and trekking organizer in Nepal. I liked very much their job for group handling and organizing all necessary matters. Indeed, my group really happy with their working performance and group handling idea. We fully got satisfaction and happy with them. I will contact them again to handle my other friends in future if somebody try to visit Nepal. Lastly I thanked to Mr Chij and his company members made successful our trip.

I am so lucky that I met Mr. Chij during my trip to Nepal! As a first time solo female traveler, I was very nervous going into the trip. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with the experience as a whole. Honestly , I fell in love with Nepal. During the trip I felt very safe and welcomed. The sight seeing was fantastic and seeing the sun rise while in the mountains was breathtakingly beautiful. I liked Pokhara much more than Kathmandu and I only wish that I spent more time in Pokhara. It has so much to offer from the peaceful lake to the paragliding in the mountains. I also did a part of the EBC trek. The guide in the mountains was very helpful and made sure I finished trekking without any issues. My tour guides were fantastic throughout the trip and were very knowledgeable about the history of all of the locations we visited. Nepal is a great country with very friendly people. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to travel to Nepal and the Himalayas to contact Mr. Chij to get your unforgettable experience!

Prior trekking to Everest Camp we did an eight days tour including Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara. Everything was so well organised. From the moment Mr Chij pick us up from the airport we were in the best hands. The tour guides provided in each city were great, very knowledgeable and passionate. The hotels were very nice and in good location and staff very friendly and accommodating. Mr Chij kept messaging us to make sure everything was going well. He even msged us to check we’ve arrive safe and sound back home.
Great service, excellent organisation and customer service, good itineraries, friendly tour guides and value for money. Highly recommend this company.

I got to know Mr Chij gurung through Facebook. Extremely honest sincere committed he follows each guest through his routine. Value for money tours of all types all over Nepal even in Tibet EBC and what have u. I am writing this review in room 201 of elegant hotel where I have seen him working from owner to safaiwala. He just believes in neatness perfection. Lovely menu meals and all services. Lucky enough to see aarti today evening just 10 mins from hotel. Lovely itinerary of all events with equitable substitutes. Friends just close your eyes and visit everything in nepal through him..Dr RK Saxena. Nashik. India

Chij the owner was so pleasant to deal with. He also speaks Japanese and rudimentary Chinese! I had a wonderful time paragliding with the company he recommended. I also recommend staying at the Elegant Hotel which was so clean, spacious and very reasonable with a free breakfast. It was a short distance from Pokhara Lake.

We had a great time during our Langtang valley track. Communication and organization with Adventure land Neapal was very smooth.
Our guide, Bikram was more than we could wish for. Helpful, funny, knowledgeable and easygoing.
We also really appreciated help of out porter Magar , who was a great addition to the team - kindhearted, professional and great fun to have around.
Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

In January 2014, I went trekking to Lang Tang Valley with a guide arranged by Adventure Land Nepal(ALP). The manager Chij at ALP provided me with a good guide whose name is Khadga(KB). He is quite experienced and considerate to the elderly trekker like me, always walking behind me. The guide choices of the hotels and meal places on the trekking route was perfect. He knew almost all the native people on the way, having a nice chat now and then and having a good time with children. The trekking was not so hard and at the highest point of 3,800meters, I had a pleasant surprise of the heaven, it began to snow all of a sudden. The white scenery was superb and I went further up and down below I had a marvelous sight of the village Kyangjin Gompa and its surrounding area. I googled in internet and found a 12 days trip with Adventureland Nepal company.They offered a 12 days tour to Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lumbini and Pokhara with 675$, do you think that it is a good price?
Is it a trustworthy company?
Also how much money is needed for exclude things like lunch, dinner and activities?

Good morning:
I highly recommend Adventure Land Nepal. Chij (co-owner of Adventure Land Hotel) was very responsive and made every effort to make sure we had a wonderful trip. I think $675 is a very reasonable price for what he offers.
We did a fourteen day tour, with six days of trekking and Chitwan, Pokhara and Kathmandu. We did not do Lumbini so I can't offer any opinions about that. But I can tell you about our experiences with the other stuff.
Here are some of my PERSONAL opinions. Not to sway you but just to let you know about our personal experiences:
1. We arrived in Kathmandu in the evening, so we had one evening and then the next whole day to spend in Kathmandu. We left the morning of the third day. In Kathmandu, we did all the typical tourist places. We were NOT fans of Kathmandu. It was dirty, crowded, and crazy busy. The places we were taken to were fascinating and interesting, but my husband and I didn't really care about seeing temples, etc. We are more into nature, which is why the city wasn't our cup of tea. We did, however, have a day at the end of our trip where we spent another day in Nepal and we spent the entire day in Thamel shopping, getting souvenirs and stuff. That part we enjoyed.
We stayed at the Hotel Moonlight and loved it. It is under renovation so there is a bit of a mess, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not done by now b/c they were working so fast. It's a conveniently located hotel not in the heart of Thamel (which we would not have liked), but about a five minute walk to get to the heart of Thamel.
As for the tourist stuff, entrances to all the parks, etc was included. We were supposed to get lunch on our own, but my husband and I decided we wanted to end the tour early since we were tired of the traffic and dirt. So we skipped the last two tourist attractions and went back to hotel and just had lunch on our own.
The tour guide we had in Kathmandu was very knowledgeable and helpful.
2. We loved the trekking portion. We did the Ghorepani/Poon Hill trek, which was not too strenuous but the perfect amount for us. Since you aren't going trekking, I won't add too much about this.
3. Chitwan National Park was very, very nice. All the activities are included (nature walk, canoe trip, elephant ride), but we didn't do the elephant ride for two reasons - 1. we had a HUGE rainstorm the time we were supposed to go and 2. I ended up feeling very sorry for the elephants.
We stayed at the Hotel River Bank Inn. We didn't tell Chij this but we did NOT like this hotel at all. There are many, many hotels in Chitwan. I would recommend that you find a hotel you'd like online, and tell Chij to please arrange for you to stay there. I felt bad for the Hotel River Bank Inn staff since we were the only guests there, and they did their best to make our stay a pleasant one, but the rooms were so old and kind of dirty. The bed covering had stains and the rooms were small and run down.
As for what's included, I believe it states on the itinerary what is included. All of our meals were included everywhere except Kathmandu and Pokhara. We did LOVE the food at the Hotel River Bank Inn, but we weren't allowed to choose - they gave us a set meal for each meal. Thankfully they were all delicious!!
3. We loved Pokhara!! One day we will go back and spend more time there. right now it's not as crazy as Kathmandu, but I can see how it will change in the future. We stayed at the Hotel the Coast, which is a brand new hotel (and happens to be owned by Chij's brother Bob). it was fantastic! Breakfast was included at the hotel but all other meals we had to pay for on our own. Lots of restaurant options there. I believe we were supposed to have activities included but we chose to venture out on our own.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with our visit to Nepal. The people are honest and hard working. We felt very safe there and didn't worry about getting anything stolen. There is VERY little begging going on in that country and they are trying to keep it that way by asking tourists not to give money to beggars.
it's super cheap and affordable. We ate VERY well and our most expensive meal was about $20, and that included beers. Although I will say that beers are expensive there (well, expensive by Nepal standards). You can get an entire meal for the same price as a beer (about $4.50).
I don't think you will be sorry by using Adventure Land Nepal. There are many, many outfitters there but you have to be careful - a lot of them are not legitimate. But you can trust Chij to take great care of you. And he will cater your trip as you wish. if you do use Chij, please tell him Suzie and Dean recommended him! :)
