Overview
The tour gives you a glimpse of the cultural life of people of Nepal in general. This is a great way to observe the spiritual practices of Nepal which are a blend of Hinduism, Buddhism and Tantrism. Walk through the medieval town designed with principles of Vastu Shastra (material science) / architecture and visit the neighborhood of Ayurveda. Feel the 'Little Tibet in Kathmandu' at Boudhanath Stupa. Visit Pashupatinath and watch the different aspects of Hindu life. Learn the philosophy behind cremation and the life after death.
Visit Lalitpur (Patan), the city of fine art and discover the hidden monasteries including the 'Golden temple'. Know why it is called the oldest existing Buddhist city in the world.
Learn the history of Gurkha and visit Kumari, the living goddess of Kathmandu. Walk through the colorful market of Ason back to your hotel.
This is a very relaxed cultural tour of Kathmandu watching the spiritual life of people.

I had such a wonderful day learning all about Buddhism, Hinduism and Tantrism. Rabi was full of knowledge and so much interesting information, he really made all the beautiful places/monasteries come to life. I highly recommend hiring him as your guide, it totally changed my experience of the city. Thank you Rabi!

This trip was wonderful from start to finish. I am a solo female traveler who was looking for a trustworthy and safe travel agent who can show me Nepal! Rabi was able to organize my entire 5 night 6 day trip taking me to all the highlights of Nepal. We explored Kathmandu and it’s many temples, stayed at excellent hotels, Flew to Pokhara and back, drove through Nakargot and many other cities along the way. I can not thank Rabi and Pravin enough for their hospitality and organization through out this journey. Many laughs, good food, and wonderful company. Looking forward to my next trip and I highly recommend going through iTour Nepal for your next trip here!

Excellent tour that focused on the spiritual & religious history that helps explain the unique city that is Kathmandu. My guide was very professional and friendly. He wanted to make sure I was happy at all times - the tour was at a relaxed place - important so you can soak it all in - and I personally found it very interesting. Really enjoyable experience - I would urge anyone coming to the Kathmandu & Nepal to hire a licensed guide in order to really enjoy and appreciate what you are seeing.

This trip in Upper Mustang was wonderful, Rabin is very friendly and attentive. We loved the places we stayed, especially in Lo Mantang. Accommodation was nice everywhere, Rabin and the driver guided us to the main attractions in Mustang. We had a great time in this special place, people are so kind and the tibetan culture is amazing.... We highly recommend this tour ...and the team (Rabindra and the driver) !

Response from iT0urNepal, Owner at iTour Nepal Private Day Tours

Thank you for this great opportunity to show you Upper Mustang, the last vestiges of medieval Tibet. It was wonderful meeting you. The extension of roads and the Mustang people's approach to development is inevitable. But this also opened the possibility for many others to visit. Now it is a week's trip with options of luxury and deluxe lodges / resorts. And we have observed that the locals have been successful in preserving the fragile culture and heritage as it was. Thanks again for visiting Nepal during the time it needed tourists the most. With you all the best and happy travelling.
