We set out on the 3rd Sep 19 , me my son and 3 friends and our guide Basu. Our aircraft left Kathmandu late as the clouds were low , we arrived at Lukla 30 mins after take off and wow that is a small landing strip😬. The days were long and tough and one of our party had to be airlifted back from pheriche, due to ams. We finally reached base camp on the 10th September 19 and we were all very emotional, this would not have been possible without the amazing knowledge of Basu from Exciting Nepal tours, the guy was an inspiration to us all. When we got back to Lukla we were stranded for 6 day due to the weather but Basu never let anything get him down and kept our moral up ( even though he’s wife gave birth to their first child while we were stranded). I honestly can’t pay the man enough compliments and wish him the best of luck 🙏

From the beginning everything was excellent. They were waiting for us at the airport and took us to the hotel, where we spent two nights. Then we fly to Lukla and start the trek Both the guide and the porter were very friendly and helpful throughout the walk, thanks to them we were able to enjoy a beautiful experience! They provided us with sleeping bags, down jackets and sticks for the trek. After a few days in katmandu, they provided us with transportation to the airport again. Super recommended, excellent service

It seems you cna hardly travel to Bhutan without visiting the Tiger's Nest so this was the second time, for me. However, it didn't disappoint. The treck itself is reasonable stright forward and there are tantalising glimpses of the monastery en route to keep up your interest. You need to know that there is no photography inside, so you will need to rely on your memories...
