Australian who went with Trekking Guide Team Adventure in December 2019. Kabi was very professional to deal with when booking and when in Nepal as well. Hotel was much better than expected and was better than many previous hotels I have stayed in. Krishna was our guide and he was amazing. If it wasn't for him me and my friend would have never gotten to the base camp. He made us feel like family rather than a client. Our porter was also great too. Would highly recommend as they were a trustworthy and professional company.

I am sincerely thankful to Kabi and his team, Shambu and our porter for making it such a memorable trip! The team was professional, communicative and we made it to Everest Base Camp successfully! We went to Nepal before the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Before going, Nepal government was already taking measures like restricting on-arrival visas. Kabi personally called me to ensure I have all the right information and to try to apply for visa online before arrival. We arrived Nepal with no issues and was picked up by a driver. Kabi was at the hotel to receive us and to brief us about the itinerary. Many thanks to Kabi for being organised and so communicative. Shambu was our guide and he was fantastic. We battled with rain on the first day as we ascend from Lukla and were blessed with sunny weather for the next 6 days but it progressively got colder. Shambu would always ensure we are taken care of by ensuring we had extra blankets in the tea house. Every day that we checked out of tea houses, he will check our rooms to ensure that we did not forget anything. We battled a terrible snow storm on the hike to base camp and honestly don’t think I could have pushed through without Shambu! I also need to commend Shambu and his preparedness. His bag contains everything imaginable for the trek. He had crampons when we needed it for paths that had ice. He had menthol ointments when I had sore feet on Day 10. He really took care of us when we needed and was very calm and knowledgeable with regards to altitude sickness. He even had an oximeter and always ensuring we have enough water. The thing that I like about the whole trip was the fact that we were always given options of continuing to the next town because lower elevation helps with altitude sickness. We also had to rush back to Lukla to get out of the mountain before the COVID-19 stopped all planes from flying so staying in the next city cut down hiking time the next day and we got down to Lukla in 3 days. Shambu organised a flight a day earlier and he took care of all other logistics during our trek. I am so grateful that everything was taken care of, without much worry from our end! Overall, I highly recommend this company and Shambu. You guys have been thoroughly amazing to us. We wish that our trip was not cut short due to the outbreak of COVID-19. I hope to see you guys again soon!

I have just returned from the Everest base camp trek and it was best experience ever. Everything went perfectly and according to plan. Our guide Ram was so much fun and clearly managed our expectations in terms of what to expect on the hike. He made us laugh lots and kept our spirits up on the more difficult parts. I couldn’t recommend going through this company enough, everything was planned in advance for us and it made our trip run as smoothly as possible.

We had an excellent time on this trek. Absolutely everything within the companies control went flawlessly from transfers, permits, taxes, accommodation etc... The hotel before and after the trek is lovely with a nutritious breakfast. Ram, the guide, was great. He was knowledgeable and made us feel reassured the whole time, at no point were we daunted by any aspect of the trek. He was very funny and energetic which definitely added to our trip. On a high after a great expedition.

We've just come home from the annapurna circuit trek! It was truly amazing ! Before hand, great organisation with Kabi, answering all of our questions very quickly. Thank You so much Sambu Basnet (and his porter), amazing guide, who was there to teach us about culture, care for us in every little details, encouraging us trough the tough path (Thorong La pass in winter is something), always being funny, smiling, patient... ! We've felt welcome in every home we've come through, getting warm next to the family fire, learning to know the nepalese culture with locals. Annapurna circuit trek is a wonderful trek, just long enough, with beautiful views of the annapurna range. Doing it in winter was more of a challenge (-35° in the morning at high camp...) but the the snow covered villages with fuming chimney in the morning are an absolute delight.
