Me and my mate Chris had an awesome time on this tour. Whilst we were blessed with great weather for the start of the season, our guide Shambu Basnet was incredibly helpful with our selection of gear in Kathmandu. He was super knowledgeable of his surroundings in the mountain and was able to answer any questions we had and was always willing to assist. He found is some great tea houses to stay in with amazing food along the way. It was like having another friend to experience the incredible sights with. He was flexible so we were able to modify our itinerary as we felt like along the way. As difficult as the actually trekking was, Mr Shambu really made it feel so incredibly rewarding and fun. He has a great personality and attitude, would highly recommend to book with him if your part of a larger family as well. Our porter Sitarum was also great and always up for a laugh and a game of cards after the end of a long day trekking.
If your considering doing a trek in Nepal, I’d highly advice you to request Mr Shambu as your fearless leader (a.k.a mountain guide) and book through Kabi (the friendly owner of the company).

We've just come home from the annapurna circuit trek! It was truly amazing !
Before hand, great organisation with Kabi, answering all of our questions very quickly.
Thank You so much Sambu Basnet (and his porter), amazing guide, who was there to teach us about culture, care for us in every little details, encouraging us trough the tough path (Thorong La pass in winter is something), always being funny, smiling, patient... !
We've felt welcome in every home we've come through, getting warm next to the family fire, learning to know the nepalese culture with locals.
Annapurna circuit trek is a wonderful trek, just long enough, with beautiful views of the annapurna range. Doing it in winter was more of a challenge (-35° in the morning at high camp...) but the the snow covered villages with fuming chimney in the morning are an absolute delight.
Before hand, great organisation with Kabi, answering all of our questions very quickly.

What an incredible experience we had all the way from booking our trek pre-covid to finally reaching Everest base camp.
Kabi's communication throughout the entire (lengthy) process has been amazing. We found we had all the information we required prior to departing for Nepal.
When we arrived we were collected from the airport by our guide Shambu. I don't think I will be able to express my gratitude for Shambu eloquently enough in this review.
Shambu was unbelievable from the very first moment we met him until we had to say our final goodbyes several days after returning to Kathmandu.
If we didn't have such a supportive and caring guide with us, I'm not sure that we would have made it to EBC.
From his patient approach throughout the trek to finding us extra blankets on all of those cold nights all the way through to helping me plan the perfect proposal to my partner when we reached EBC, I cannot fault Shambu and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to guide anyone on a future trek.
A special mention to our porter Kissup, who always had a smile on his face and would march off to our destination with our luggage and then come back to help carry our backpacks.
The best advertising is through word of mouth and I will absolutely be telling everyone that is considering a trek in Nepal to book through Trekking Guide Team Adventure.
The entire team has made this amazing experience truly unforgettable.

I trekked to Lake Gosaikunda with my husband and two adult children. We went with Trekking guide team adventures because we have used them before to trek to Everest base
This was a tough trek but with the help of our fantastic guide Shambu we all made it to the lake.
Unfortunately my son developed altitude sickness and had to be airlifted to the international hospital. It was through no fault of anyone that this happen as altitude sickness can affect anybody. What I was most impressed with was how it was handle. Our fantastic guide Shambu.

I highly recommend trekking guide team adventures for any trekking or sightseeing in Nepal. You will be guaranteed to be kept safe, provided with excellent guides and porters and have an excellent experience.

Had an amazing time doing the Manaslu circuit. Kabi went to great lengths to organise us permits in a very short amount of time and had amazing communication throughout!
The trek was amazing and our guide Ram did a fantastic job from start to finish. The weather the week prior hadn't been great but Ram did a great job guiding us through the trek one day at a time.
Couldn't recommend doing the Manasul circuit enough, it is incredibly beautiful and a great challenge as well. Trekking Guide Adventure team will do a great job organising and find the best guide for you.

My partner and I did the Annapurna Circuit trek with Trekking Guide Team Adventure and we had an excellent time! We would really recommend Sujan as a guide, he is great! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the region (and region’s flora) in which we were hiking and the trail, was great about communication and keeping us informed of plans, is very friendly and kind, and always made sure that our health and safety was a priority on the trip. It was great travelling with someone who we could depend on, especially after tiring (but great!) days of hiking. The hike itself was incredible, and Sujan did a great job of taking us on the best routes between villages for optimal views of the mountain ranges, to stop at beautiful villages, to take us on easier alternatives or routes off the jeep tracks.
All the communication before the trip was very organized and clear and the itinerary was customized for us to have the best trip possible. It was so nice to not have to worry about accommodations or any transit once we landed, and the boutique hotel that was organized for us in the city was excellent. Trekking Guide Team Adventure made for a really memorable first trip to Nepal, and we hope to return and trek with them again soon! Thanks so much for everything! :)

Myself and my partner walked into the office of Trekking Guide Team Adventure in Kathmandu looking for a guide for the Langtang and Tamang Heritage Treks, and we are glad that we did. They came up with a 2-week itinerary for us that was both reasonable in price and for how much ground we would cover in that time. Our guide, Thakur, was able to come meet us right away, and we soon had a good feeling that we would be guided well.
Thakur was very energetic and always looked after us, asking us if we needed anything, making sure we stopped when we needed to rest, and also gave a lot of information about the area. We were pretty slow moving and he amended the planned itinerary appropriately. He treated us like family on the trip, and in fact after we returned to Kathmandu we were able to meet some of his family, which was really heartwarming. We would definitely request him as a guide again.

This was my 5th Trek in Nepal and all off them have been with the Trekking Guide Team, as they have been providing a wonderful experience everytime.
First about the trek. The Gokyo , Chola pass route us beautiful, less crowded than the more popular EBC route. It has beautiful vista's, Glacier crossings, 8000m mountain views and a challenging pass crossing to boot. A journey for a lifetime.
Kabiraj Nepal runs a very organized and meticulous team. Customized as per personal needs to make sure you are comfortable. My guide each time has been Shambu Basnet. Extremely knowledgeable, good sense of humor and an amazing eye for safety makes him a top guide.
Highly recommend Trekking guide team for any treks in Nepal and do request for Shambu ji as your guide. You will not be disappointed.

Our guide Shiva Raj Thapa was wonderfully warm and helpful and guided us safely through 5 days in Helambu. Unfortunately no views of the mountains because of the haze. Trekking Guide Team Adventure organised our trip efficiently (the day before!) and checked in with us regularly as we trekked. Reasonably priced ($350 USD) - we just hope most of the money goes to our guide who did all the hard work. Thanks again Shiva!

Me and my partner had a great time with Shambu, he was very kind and showed us the best spots to eat, drink and see the views. We saw some amazing sunsets, sun rises and experienced some homemade Nepalese cuisine.
The views of the mountains were spectacular! I would recommend this package to anyone that enjoys an active holiday.

Hi - well I thought I had above average fitness and I still found it tough but that was the dealing with the altitude sickness! I was the oldest in my group (47) but there were other older people on the trail (and embarrassingly much fitter than me!). I would definitely recommend it, it's just stunning, but go in season when you're not facing the cold and get some hiking experience in first. It will just make it more enjoyable - age is just number :-)

I think it would depend on what trek you are on. Trekking Guide Team Adventure will look after you all but some of the treks are really hard and long. As a minimum, 6 hours of trekking per day. Some of the routes are challenging too so look into where you want to go and establish whether a 3 year old would manage. In all other respects, you will be fine as the Nepalese are very friendly.

Hi there!
We went late November and it was just my husband and I! (we didn't know we were the only people in the group until we got there!) :) We are mid-thirties and did the Annapurna circuit. Our experience was that the twenty -somethings generally trek without guides and form their own informal groups. The mere fact that you are spending extra money on a guide increases your chances of having older people in the group as the young 'uns trek as cheaply as humanly possible.
And for the record - I wholeheartedly agree with IzzyS - it IS a FANTASTIC experience!! If you love nature YOU WILL LOVE IT!! I can also highly recommend our guide and porter: Mr Shiva and Mr Bsim (you can request them by name).
A side note: prepare as well as you can ahead of time (both physically and ito gear) - it makes the trekking much easier and less stressful!
