Since childhood I have always wanted to go to Bhutan, the country of Gross National Happiness. In Kathmandu we searched online for a travel company to organise our trip and we came across Nepal Tibet Tours & Treks. You cannot miss them because they have the best reviews!
We were not able to find the office immediately but after calling Mr. Birendra explained to us the exact location and he was willing to meet us on Saturday even though the office is normally closed on that day.
Mr. Birendra is very experienced, helpful and he cares about his clients. He organised a 5-day trip for us and we were able to go to Bhutan after our Nepal trekking which was from a time perspective ideal.
Because of the tourist fee travelling to Bhutan is expensive but we think that it is totally worth it since it is an all-in package.
In Bhutan Mr. Yonten and Mr. Wangchuk were our guide and driver and they are true ambassadors of their country. They were very people-oriented and kind making sure we were having a good time, we laughed a lot with them! The Bhutanese are very aware that people have to pay a lot of money to come and visit their country and they do what they can to give excellent service, we have experienced that over and over again during our trip.
Mr. Yonten our guide explained a lot about his country and about buddhism. We visited Thimpu, Punakha and Paro and on day 4 we hiked up to Tiger’s Nest which was amazing! Apart from that we loved the food (a lot of veggies!) and the accommodation!
We truly had the best of times in Bhutan and we were so sad to leave...

Planning my short visit to Nepal and Kathmandu I used the service of Nepal Tibet Tours & Treks for the first time but through my friends'recommendation. It was the right choice as I didn't have so many days there. I relied on Birendra and his team completely. It was planned as per my choice and budget so I did enjoy a lot, every day I could explore some special places and things, it made my holiday amazing. Just for few days I got visited different places in Kathmandu. My guide shared interesting info and took me on the city tour, so I could feel connected with the places, people and learn something special. We could cover many places using the nice car privided by the company with an excellent driver. Actually I was surprised as I got more comfort, an excellent service in the hotel Birendra booked for me, including delicious breakfast in the package, less cost than I paid during my travel in India. Warm hearted welcome, a proper management and the itenarary helped me feel comfortable and enjoy the beauty and uniquness of Kathmandu and some natural places. Besides Birendra had detailed approach in organizing a trip so he even checked the weather forecast and let me know before hand, so i kept it for my shopping and friends meeting in Thamel. Definitely it is the life time memorable trip for me, thanks to Birendra and his team. I am looking forward to travelling to Nepal again. Next time with a longer stay and more treks and wild nature exploring.

My second trip to Nepal was organized by Birendra and he left nothing out. From the time we arrived right through to our departure, Birendra was there. He is an absolute professional and passionate about his country, his clients and his business. He was always available and the guides and drivers he provided where the best in the business. Organising our trip from Australia was so easy through his business with fast replies and many options.
I highly recommend you contact Birendra for anything you would like to do in Nepal, be it solo travel or a large group.

Thisis an outstanding once in a lifetime journey to Upper Mustang, sometimes called Little Tibet. A country of raw denuded mountains and deep gorges. Kind gentle people. Good basic nourishing food and simple accommodation. Ancient Buddhist locations to those of us who were on pilgrimage. The Tiji Festival was one of many hi lights. Our drivers were safe on appalling roads and always considerate. Our guides spoke excellent English.

We went on a private tour with Nepal Tibet tours to Bhutan and Nepal recently and we just could not find a word to describe how satisfied and happy we were with this company services. Mr Birendra who is the owner, organised the whole entire trip for us from Day 1 to the last day we left. He is super organised, attentive and helpful and he always make sure that we were well looked after by his guides throughout our whole entire trip. He has the best guides in Nepal (Mr Sandeesh) and in Bhutan ( Mr Yonteen). We are a group of keen photographers and of course we always took longer than we should - both of them are so patience with us! Both guides were kind, understanding, compassionate, have good sense of humour and very accommodating and I personally have learned a lot from them either their culture or their religion. Our trip would not be this enjoyable and memorable if it was not for Mr Birendra and his team of excellent guides. So a big THANK YOU from all of us and we certainly look forward to doing more tours and hikes with your company next round. One of the best trips ever!! Thank you Mr Birendra, Mr Sandeesh and Mr Yonteen...You are awesome!

I had the most wonderful time last year when travelling with Nepal Tibet tours and treks.
Perfectly organised from our driver who mad us feel totally safe considering the roads. To our guide Sandesh who had great communication and so much knowledge to share.
Friendly, happy and always aiming to please.
Upper Mustang and Nepal is something everyone should experience. The beauty of the snow covered mountains and rugged terrain.
Friendly people and beautiful culture.

I couldn't be happier with the trip to Bhutan and Nepal for me and my family with Nepal Tibet Tours & Treks. The travel has been perfectly organized, safe, clean and impeccable. I've been in Nepal several times and I can confirm that Birendra Adhikari is in my opinion one of the best trip organizers in Nepal. Few words to add to Nepal and Bhutan, what a great places to be and what a wonderful people in both countries. There's no doubt that we will repeat and for sure with same company.

We wanted to tour Nepal/Tibet by private car as a couple.We did this in India and after a lot of internet research found an outstanding company. (See earlier review) We did the same due diligence in this case. We selected Visit Nepal-Treks and soon were in communication with a young man who runs the place named Birendra. We are just back from our two weeks of touring and thru all of our leadup internet communications and our direct contact with him on our trip he organized we found him a man of the highest integrity and a quick and able communicator as well as being very bright.We were a week in Nepal with daily tours and a week in Tibet with the same driver and guide over our 600 mile journey.The guides provided as well as our drivers were outstanding. The area around Kathmandu is really interesting. You do go one night away to see the sunrise come up over the Himalayas which was quite a sight. We stayed at the Shanker Hotel in Kathmandu for a total ,of 7 days in and out. Great Place look at it on Tripadvisor. It was our choice. They store your bags until your return as you move about the region. They are a 10 minute walk or $2.00 cab ride to Thamel. We flew to Lhasa Tibet from Kathmandu. Get a left side window because Mt. Everest comes right up as do the rest of the Himalayas. It is a direct and close fly by that you will never forget. Cameras at the ready. In Tibet we stayed at the Sheraton 4 points in Lhasa and smaller inns/guest houses on our travels over the Tibetan plain.We purposely went in November to have the best chance at the clearest weather. In the two weeks we were there not a cloud within a thousand miles. We had the honor of having Nagawang as our guide and Kelsang as our driver for the week in Tibet. Try to get that Tibet pairing thru Birendra as you make your arrangements. They never leave your side but are not suffocating.

I recently (Oct 2013) visited Nepal and Mt Kailash. Birendra was recommended through a friend of mine who also owns a travel company.
Originally I was apprehensive as I was traveling alone but his prompt replies and willingness to respond to my concerns ensured I felt safe during all parts of my trip. Safely was his utmost concern. He was also exceptionally helpful when things didn't quite go to plan.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking to tour Nepal, Tibet and surrounding areas. I also plan to use them again in the future.

Hello, How much roughly can I expect the expenses to be for a trip from Nepal to Kailash, for outer and inner Kora please?

Namaste Birendra. I was hoping to go from Nepal during Aug last week and be in Tibet for the inner Kora around Sept 2nd week? So want to spend good time visiting temples and parikama. I dont know how long it will all take so if u could give me a maximum and minimum price that would be good. Many thanks . Priya
