If you’ve completed any of the many treks or ascents to any of the Himalayan base camps, a trip to Rum Doodle to sign a foot and have a look at all the other amazing people who have achieved these feats is a must.
This is one of the only other places outside of shops in Thamel and a couple of restaurants that are an absolute must for me when in Kathmandu. The bar is awesome; the food solid, and the book a must read... A marvellous place, indeed!!
Last night a group enjoyed a light dinner and drinks at this casual restaurant. Service was very good as was the margarita pizza and soup. Single malts were fairly priced. Environment is very relaxed. All the footprints were fun to look at.

We went looking for this place for 2 days. But after some time we realised that it has move away from the Thamel area. So don't use your time looking for it by the address they have on the trip advisor page.
We visited it due my wife telling me about it from a previous visit.
It's a pity it has moved away from its old location and it also has lost the atmosphere of the old place,
You will need transport if staying around Thamel.
