We just completed our once-a-life-time trekking tour in Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal in October 2022. We have covered 3 passes and Everest Base Camp in 16 days. The tour was organized by Nigma Sherpa of NMMT through KimKim. During the booking and communication stages, Nigma answered all our questions in no time and patiently. We felt very comfortable and safe to work with him. To judge how good Nigma is, is to see how he responded to the unexpected events. Due to a bad weather, our flight to Lukla was cancelled and Nigma was able to secure a flight for us next day! This was not an easy task. Imagine all the trekkers from previous day need to grab a seat on already fully booked flights.

The best part of our trekking trip was our guide Furba Sherpa. Furba is a professional trekking and mountaineering guide. He has not only incredible knowledge in the area, but also is very considerate in taking care of us. We had requested I and my friend need to have single rooms to have better rest every day. Due to the high season, this request is not guaranteed. However, Furba was able to get us single rooms EVERYDAY in our entire trip. Due to unstable weather, Furba needs to make itinerary adjustment to maximize the best route and best mountain scenery for us. After 16 days together, we have become good friends!

Thank you again Nigma and Furba. You made our dream come true. If you want to do trekking in Nepal, I highly recommend Nigma of NMMT through KimKim.

From the get go Ngima instilled confidence with his prompt replies to my questions during the initial planning stages. We had limited time and wanted to fit in as much as possible without having to worry about transport and transfers from one destination to the next. The Poon Hill trek was memorable, not least because our guide Dafuri and porter, Ngima had the best sense of humour and kept us going by gauging our ability perfectly and taking care to make sure that we were safe and comfortable at all times. We also spent the evenings teaching each other card games and we had a lot of fun. Our driver from Pokhara back to Kathmandu via Bandipur, drove with skill and patience through monsoon rain, landslides and festival traffic. We always felt safe despite some tricky conditions and were able to enjoy the amazing sights and scenery along the way. Everyone we met contributed to a memorable experience and knowing someone always had our backs meant we could just enjoy the trip and appreciate Nepal to the fullest.

Nepal has become my new favorite country, and it is because of Ngima and his staff. My family went to Nepal in March 2023. Ngima did a wonderful job helping organize and set up tour and activities for us in Kathmandu. We did 2 days of temple tours and world heritage sites and a helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp. Ngima took care of any complications and made sure we were always set up correctly.

We trekked the Langtang Valley with our guide Dafuri. Ngima did a great job pairing us with him. Dafuri was very knowledge able of the area and answered all of our touristy question. He always made us feel comfortable at our Tea houses by interpreting our conversations to the locals and owners, helping order or food, and taking great pictures along the trail.

I have travelled to several countries, and because of Nigma and his staff I plan on coming back to trek again in Nepal.

We had the absolute best time in Nepal thanks to Ngima and NMMT team. Ngima was fantastic to communicate with in advance of our holiday, arranging an itinerary for the Annapurna Circuit with Lake Tilecho and Poon Hill. We felt so welcome from the moment we landed in Kathmandu and didn’t have to worry about anything - NMMT had everything sorted.

Nuru and Mingma our guide and porter were just fantastic. They shared so much about Nepalese culture with us and were extremely professional and caring. We felt safe and informed for our whole trek, but also had the most fun. We laughed our way around the Annapurna’s and can’t wait to go back Nepal to see the wonderful NMMT team. We can’t thank Ngima, Nuru and Mingma enough for their hospitality.

Truly great trip. Ngima and team were professional and flexible, which is really important given how our trip itinerary changed due to luggage delays. This is my third trip organised by NMMT and they never disappoint. Pasang, our guide, was also fun and very fluent in English. This trip was a shorter one - just a 5 day period to Poon Hill and Pokhara. But still amazing sights along the way. Highly recommend.

I was planning to track in Annapurna quite some time but the overnight stay and the facility was putting me off. I had a perfect 5 days. The guide, the porter were highly professional, the tea house that we stayed was clean and hygienic (dont expect a swimming pool but there is a river Modi and you can deep in and deep out. I highly recommend them to consider for your bucket list for Nepal. Do not forget to reserve a massage in Katmanndu, The white orchid next to the hotel is very good and value for money. Thanks team you made my dream a memorable and enjoyable one.

I did the ABC trek by myself so having a guide was essential. Having a porter was amazing! Njima organized everything for me as soon as I landed, and helped me customize my trip with day tours and a bit more time in Pokhara. My guide, Ang, and porter, Kunga, we’re professional, considerate and gave great insight into life in the Himalayas! Njima is a lot of fun and has gone above and beyond to offer a conscientious and responsible tour company. I highly recommend them.

Our trek with Nepal Myths been a fantastic experience from start to finish. The communication from Ngima was exceptional throughout. He helped us to think through the various options for the trek and provided helpful guidance and links for further reading. Being met at the airport meant our arrival in Kathmandu was much easier than finding our own way to the hotel and the pre-trek briefing answered any queries which we had. The team on the trek were also excellent - our guide Dafuri Sherpa was knowledgable and responsive to our requests, and the porters Nuru and Finju Sherpa were positive and professional. Their connections with local people meant that we were guaranteed a ware welcome at every place we visited.

My Nepal trip via local connection with Nepal Myths and Mountain Trails (NMMT) has been great and rewarding. The local connection with Ngima D , who organized my trekking to Everest base camp, made the trip stress free and absolutely one of my favorite trip. I appreciate the clear communications between Nigma, his team and I, any issues were addressed immediately. My trip was approximately 20 days, long trips can have few instances that could derail the trip, however, Ngima D Nuru (guide ) and the porter , Nigma T, made my trip very enjoyable and worry free. Nuru was an excellent guide, his energy was always positive and encouraging. I was concerned about altitude sickness , but being with Nuru, he looked after my health as well; asking how I feel everyday, gave suggestions on food, warm water, tea, proper hydration. Ngima T, the porter, would sometimes trekked ahead , dropped his bag at the lodge/hotel, then trek back down and assist with my backpack because some sections were difficult and strenuous. I was able to avoid high altitude sickness that would've prevented trekking to EBC and I was also able to trek to Kalapathra , to have a 360 view of Mt. Everest and the surrounding mountain ranges. I did this trip as a solo traveler, being able to share moments with the local expert, guide and porter , made the trip fun and exciting, because I learned so much about the culture and history of Nepal, especially the sherpas. Ngima D , took me out for dinner and lunch during my last couple days as I rest up to return home. This trip has been excellent thanks to Ngima D, Nuru, and Nigma T, who made it so enjoyable and memorable. I hope to return to Nepal when I am ready for another challenge.

The time we had in Nepal was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend Ngima and the NMMT team enough. Ngima was fantastic to communicate with in advance of our holiday, he took so much time to make sure our trip was perfect and included all the elements we wanted and places we wished to visit. We also felt so welcome from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. Ngima and the team really looked after us like we were family. NMMT have everything sorted for you so you can just enjoy your trip!

Nuru and Mingma our guide and porter were next level fantastic. From day one we felt so safe and informed about the trek and the journey thanks to them. I loved every moment of getting to know them as they shared so much about Nepalese culture with us. They really treated us like family, and we had so much fun. We can’t wait to go back to Nepal to see the wonderful NMMT team again. We can’t thank Ngima, Nuru and Mingma enough for their caring nature that made our trip so enjoyable :)
