The after effects of Earthquake is quite evident as a lot of construction work is undergoing but tourists still flock the place. Can easily reach there from Thamel in 300-400 Nepalese Rupees

The restoration of this place is well done. Still a lot is going on. It was worth the visit and spending time at the cafes near the Durbar Square.

Frenetic and busy square. Still rebuilding some areas and rubbish strewn around (which is a real shame) but still worth a visit as there is plenty to see and experience.
