I highly recommend using Simrik Real Nepal Treks for your EBC trek if you are looking for a more personalised experience where you can go at whatever pace you want and stop for photos at a whim without having to worry about a larger group.
Myself and my firend were both on the fence as to go with this or a larger company with 10+ people in a group, in the end we went with Simrik and dont regret it at all. Regardless of whether you go as a small group or a big group, you will meet many people on the way who are hiking a similar itinerary to you and you will always have people to talk to in the tea houses.
We started our trip flying out to Kathmandu and Dipendra and our Guide (Ram) was at the airport waiting to welcome us. From the moment we stepped off the plane to the time we left Nepal, Dipendra and team were on top of it, we didnt have to worry too much or think for ourselves, everything was well organised.
For the trek itself, Dipendra sorted out our trekking permits and all the associated fees and Ram made sure to check us in at all the checkpoints along the way which made things very easy for us. We followed the itinerary all the way to base camp, but on the return we made some edits and did it in 3 days instead of 4, there were no issues at all with this and Ram was very accomodating and made recommendations on how best to do it.
If ever I am hiking again in Nepal, I will certainly be going again with Simrik Real Nepal Treks.

We did the EBC trek between March 11th - 25th with Dipendra and his team. We had an extra day in Kathmandu and his colleague Babu Ram actually gave us an amazing day tour of many places in Kathmandu. I would highly recommend this, it was an amazing day before the main trek.
For the trek our guide Ram was the most attentive person and really looked after us the entire way. In the tea houses we wanted for nothing and he just took care of everything!
Dipendra was constantly checking in on us on how the trek was going, which we also really appreciated.
I can highly recommend Dipendra and his team and want to thank them so much for a life experience I will never forget!

I just arrived back home from the most amazing experience of my life: EBC and Kala Patar.
From the moment I arrived in Kathmandu until the time I was back at the airport to fly home I was always assisted by The owner of the company. to take me to my hotel go[ng over all the details of the trip and assurimg me that I would have the a wonderful trip. On my first day in Kathmandu, I had a private tour with a very competent
and pleasent tour guide that took me to all the important places and explain everything about the tradition and culture of Nepal including a restaurant that served traditional Nepalese food which I enjoyed very much.
The next day, again, assisted by Mr. Depeendra (owner of the Company) I was taken to the aiport for the flight to Lukla where the trekking would begin. He took care of my luggage making me feel like I was a first class passenger. Upon arrival in Lukla I was again received by the guide and the porter that would trek with me all the way to EBC and back to Lukla.
The guide was very knowlegle and accommodating and so was the porter, always eager to please and always with a smile, by the end of the trip I felt like we were old friends trekking together.
I just want to add one thing: Mr Dependra was right when he said that I was going to have a trip of a lifetime and he would do everything in his power to make sure of that, In trips like this that sometimes your life can be on the line you really have to do it with experienced and reliable companys and that's what Simrik Nepal is, local people with mountain experience and the Nepalese hospitality, I will defenitely go back to Nepal and trek with them.

I recently completed ECB and Kala Pathar trek and it was just amazing. I couldn't have done without Simrik Real Nepal. My guide Sagar and porter Hari, both were very good and highly experienced. My flight got cancelled and luckily they managed to arrange a chopper to fly me out. It was a great experience and their hospitality is awesome. I did lot of research before selecting them as my trek guides and it did pay off. I highly recommend this group. They were highly professional.

It was always my childhood dream and a big item on my bucket list to Travel to Mount Everest. I finally decided to take the plunge with my friends and left for Mount Everest Trek in April 2014.
My friend chose simrik trekking as our agency after finding a number of favorable reviews. He kept in touch with deep (ceo) for 10 months before we set out for our trek. He addressed all our questions and concerns and replied quickly and promptly to our inquiries.
He kindly received us from the airport and then provided us with a great hotel to stay in the 4* hotel (shankar hotel) in Kathmandu. The rooms, service and location were good. It was close to the market where we had time to shop prior to and after our trek.
He was very kind and decent person and invited us for a home cooked meal on our first night in Nepal. He gave us a rundown after dinner as to how the trek would go, once again addressed any concerns we had about the trek and finalized all our paperwork (permits).
As highlighted in the itinerary we always had access to transportation, including our pick ups and drops to the airport. Food, accommodations, access to sleeping bags, jackets were all taken care off by the company before we embarked on our trek.
We were also lucky that we had a very professional and knowledgeable guides along with us on this trek, Sagar. We has really funny, sarcastic, but caring, extremely knowledgable, and made sure we were well taken care off and constantly checking up on us to make sure we are ok as we go on this very physically challenging trek.
When coming back from Everest, we ran into Monsoon weather which made flights out of Lukla impossible. Deep personally gave us assurances that we will make it to Kathmandu as our flight was the next day and somehow calling in favours, he was able to get us on a transport helicopter and back to Kathmandu.
I personally recommend for anyone wanting to Trek in Nepal to go with Simrik Treks. You will not be disappointed.
They are extremely well organized, well trained staff who are equipped to deal with any kind of emergency.

My friend and I recently had an unforgettable experience of a lifetime climbing to the base camp of Mount Everest. We used Simrik Real Nepal Treks for our trek, lead by Deependra. After much searching and research, Deependra was the most consistent and speedy in his replies and also gave a good price for the trip. We were able to book a personal trek and not be part of a group which was important. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service provided by Deependra and his team. They "know the ropes" well - from the best routes to take, the best actions to take for safety, and when to adjust a schedule if need be.
Overall I would highly recommend Deependra and his expertise. It was a fair price compared to competitors, and he was friendly and assured us that everything would be set logistically for our 2 week trek. Everything worked out well and Deependra made us feel very welcome in his country and personally took time to escort us around Kathmandu before and after our trek which was a nice gesture. He has good guides and porters, which is probably the most important part of the trip. I would definitely use Simrik Real Nepal again for a hike to EBC.
Overall I would highly recommend Deependra and his expertise. Simrik Real Nepal Treks assisted me to have one of the best experiences of my life. From the time we arrived in Nepal it was made easy to find our way about and settle in by the founder of the company and our guide. They answered my questions and took us to outlets that provided advice and fair prices to get organised for our trek. Their professionalism shone through with planning ahead each day, being punctual and reliable. Both were very friendly, with our guide giving us many laughs and information on the region we were travelling. The porter you arranged put in a massive effort for us and we thank him. We loved his company too. Thanks to you both, our porter and your family for enriching the experience we had in your country. I loved our trip and love your country, you were part of that everyday. I would recommend your services to others wanting some guidance that is flexible and professional.

In searching for a local tour operator for a 21 day Everest region excursion, I needed to know that I would not be riddled with hidden fees or add-on costs. Deependra was clear in his emails about what was in/out of the costs, and let me know that my satisfaction was his priority. Now that the excursion is over, I can say that he delivered! My guide was experienced, and flexible to adapt to my particular needs/challenges/abilities along the way. We were able to go to Kala Pathar as well for a great view! This was after having to descend for a night due to altitude sickness.
They also coordinated the climbing guide, porter and equipment rental for Island Peak. As a beginner ice-climber, I needed assistance. This was provided. I was also satisfied that some issues experienced during the climb were corrected for future climbers.
Overall, Simrik Real Nepal made my high-altitude Everest vacation a reality and I will recommend them to my friends!

On a recent trek with Simrik Real Nepal Treks&Expeditions to Everest Base Camp the Manager, the Guides and the Porters were brilliant. All were dedicated in ensuring the 7 member groups' safety, well being, comfort and happiness. The guides and porters are fun loving and the most polite people I have ever meet. We did two great treks with Simrik Real Nepal Treks & Expeditions in April/May 2012 - Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit. They both exceeded our expectations. The views of the Himalayas were stunning and our guide, Dipendra, was wonderful. He spoke very good English, was warm and friendly, yet professional. He took very good care of us, watching out for us at all times making sure we were safe and that we were enjoying ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble. We were always made to feel very welcome.
Before we started the Trek he checked that we had the right gear. He had pre-booked all the Tea Houses so we had no problems with accommodation or food. He made our trek very comfortable, walking at a good pace for us and happily waiting while we took hundreds of photos! He was familiar with altitude sickness so as I developed a headache on our way to Everest Base Camp he knew what symptoms to look for.
He knew the names of the mountains & the rivers, the animals & the birds. He pointed out things of interest along the way. His sharp eyes spotted a Musk Deer, a Paradise Pheasant (Nepal National Bird), and fresh paw prints of a Snow Leopard, all of which are protected and endangered species. His enthusiasm for and knowledge of the areas added excitement and interest to our journey. He gave us an insight into local customs & traditions.
Simrik Real Nepal Treks & Expeditions organised a day of sightseeing in Kathmandu when we first arrived. After we trekked the Annapurna Circuit they gave us a complimentary sightseeing tour of Pokhara. They also organised a visit to Chitwan National Park.
We had a fantastic & fulfilling time. Dipendra was honest & reliable, going far beyond expectations. His prices were very reasonable. I can not speak highly enough of Dipendra, and of our porter, Ramesh. I highly recommend Simrik Real Nepal Treks & Expeditions for anyone wanting to do any trekking or touring of any sort in Nepal.
