Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek - 6 Days

Poon Hill Trek is the most beautiful part of Annapurna region. So that most people specially do this trek with their children as it is an easy trek of Annapurna region where all aged group people can complete this trek successfully. The food and accommodation in this trek is quite modern and has good heating system in dining room.

Especially if we have climbed to Poon Hill for excellent panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range in the morning that we stayed in Ghorepani; we can feel that we are far enough and got enough adventure experience within a very short duration. The views are perfect where ever you are in the corner. Huge mountains are always standing just in front of your face. Especially numbers of Annapurna range, Mt. Langtang Valley Trek - 8 Days

Langtang valley trekking is a small and beautiful valley that lies just south of the Tibetan border. It is between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. Langtang Lirung (7246m) dominates the valley to the north; Gang Chhenpo (6388m) and Naya Kangri (5864m) lie to the south; and Dorge Lakpa (69866m) protects the east end of the valley. The area was designated Nepal's first Himalayan national park in 1971. This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the Middle Hills. Langtang valley trekking offers an opportunity to explore villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation. According to legend a lama following a runaway yak discovered the valley. Hence the name- lang is Tibetan for 'yak' and teng (more correctly dhang) means 'to follow'.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this trek on which we were expertly guided by Shiva Prasad. As mature age trekkers we found Shiva to be highly organised, exceptionally aware of our safety and comfort and a source of interesting information on all the sites and mountain peaks we saw. He was great company and we would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a safe and enjoyable trek.

I just came back from this amazing trek! I can say, it's totally and absolutely worth doing! My guide Prakash was just the kind of trekking partner I needed. Fun, and knowledgeable and friendly. I really can't fault Base Camp at all. Granted, some of the tea houses are very basic, but that's obviously not under their control. So I can only recommend these guys. They won't disappoint.

We did the 4 day long Poon Hill trek and it was magnificent. The trek was very well organised and we got a lot for our money’s worth. Our guide Shiva Prasad was very professional and made sure everything was on point. All in all an extremely beautiful trek that I would most definitely recommend for anyone who wants to visit Nepal for trekking.
