A wonderful experience with Prakash as a guide and Binayk as a carrier. We were able to make some changes within the program which still gives a free feeling. We left from Jagat to the Ice Lake which was the icing on the cake. Both guided us to 4,600 meters altitude with a fantastic view of the Annapurna range. This organization is definitely recommended!

I want to thank Shree Ghimire ji for the awesome trip we had to Nepal. He worked about the itinerary with us and tailored one for us based on our inputs. We comprehensively covered all the places that we wanted to visit, since ours was more of a cultural trip of Nepal. All our hotels were excellent and we had a great experience in Nepal.

We have had a great experience high up in the mountains with our 10 and 11 years old kids thanks to Base Camp Adventure.
Very professional and personal service. Started with the (pre-)booking process. Shree answered all our questions, customized the itinnerary and was really coöperative. Thanks for that!
Then Prakash, our guide took us up in the mountains in a very safe way, wich was so nice doing the trek with kids. Prakash is the guide you want: much knowledge about culture and nature, very sweet to the kids and also funny to have on your side. Also our two portiers were the best! Thanks all!

We started our trek in Jagat through Marsyangdi valley all the way up to Kicho lake. Each day was a surprise as the landscape changed gradually and the views were astonishing. Our guide Prakash and porter Binayk were trustworthy and agreeable companions! We had a great time!

I have to say many thanks to the guide, Prakash. He is really patient and helped a lot on the way to the ABC camp and visiting around Nepal. He is attentive to those who need it and that attentiveness saved one of our friend from falling to the side of the road while resting and a training horse passed by him.

As a solo female traveller Nepal has always been top of my travel destination. However being alone also means that there are many considerations such as planning of activities, safety, finances and others. When I came to know about Basecamp tour I was very cautious and I asked many questions. They were very responsive and they gave me a couple of options for the tour. I chose the standard hotel package and I must say that the price was very reasonable.

Fast forward to the day of my tour, Basecamp provided good service by getting someone to wait for me at the airport even though there was a huge delay from my flight. I felt very at ease when the person told me that the hotel is near to the airport. The hotel that Basecamp chose was clean and the people were very hospitable. They were so friendly and helpful.

The guide in khamandu was very patient and he shared a lot about the history and many interesting facts about the places that we went to. I truly enjoyed my time and I have better appreciation for the culture.

Pokhara was amazing too as I tried lots of fun activities such as bungee jumping and ultralight flight. Although these activities were additional costs, it was definitely worth the price. I had a little hiccup in Pokhara (ATM card got stuck in machine) but Basecamp solved the problem for me..

Oh and the hotel (Batika) in Pokhara was excellent too. People there really have good service. Finally I went to Chitwan, the elephant safari was a new experience and an eye opener.

With my lengthy message, what I am just trying to say is that if you are looking for adventure that is not bank breaking and at the same time safe and customisable, Basecamp would be an excellent option for you ....

Till next time!

Very rewarding and challenging 19 day trek around the scenic Annapurna massif. Shree picked me up at the airport in KTM and dropped me to my hotel. There he introduced me to my guide for the trip Saroj and we did a quick inventory check and picked up some last minute items for the trip (crampons and down jacket etc). Saroj was very helpful throughout the trip, 19 days is a long time on the trail and he was always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, particularly on the really challenging days when the trekking was very physically taxing. We had plenty of laughs everyday and it was always fun and entertaining - even on the tough days. The trekking is superb, and the terrain varies wildly from alpine/evergreen/bamboo/rhododendron forests to dusty trails; to the snow covered Throng La Pass (starting at 04.30 with a temperature of -18 degrees Celsius and difficult weather conditions on the 5.5 hour descent). That day I relied heavily on Saroj’s guiding experience and knowledge to safely traverse the pass. Overall he was a great guide and I would highly recommend Saroj and Basecamp Adventure for any trek in Nepal. I would certainly avail of their services again if/when I return to Nepal.

We did the 5 day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Base Camp Adventure. Prakash was an excellent guide. Friendly and knowledgeable, he made our whole group feel at home immediately and he was especially flexible with us, finding a second porter at late notice and working with the local suppliers when our itinerary needed a slight change. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone considering a trek in Nepal, as Prakash can do any trek, not just Annapurna.

I booked onto the Nagarkot hiking day tour from Kathmandu. I contacted Shree by email and he was incredibly helpful & responsive. In the end I got a private tour with a great guide & they even tailored it to my needs, making sure to take my backpack to the hotel in Nagarkot for me so that I wouldn’t have to carry it with me. The hike was great with lots of beautiful views and we got to meet some lovely locals on the way. Highly recommended!

My wife and I are novice trekkers and decided to do the 4 day trek to Poon Hill. All 4 days were well planned and manageable with around 4-6 hours trekking each day, leaving early each day and arriving at our accommodation for around lunch time.
Before the trek, we had a briefing and were given a bag (as we paid for a porter) and a down jacket each, which was necessary.
Our guide, Shiva, was very informative and friendly, and planned a great trip; his English was excellent and he communicated between us and locals flawlessly. Our porter, Saha, who was lovely and made a real effort with us, wanting to know more about us and home lives.
We would highly recommend.

Do note: we booked through Bookmundi and the food exclusion was not clear. Any food or drink for yourselves are excluded. Guide's food and drink is covered in the price.
