A small temple but the idol is just gorgeous. Lord Vishnu sleeping on his Cobra. The idol is made from a single stone. I wonder how heavy it must be! The normal pushing and pulling is not there in this temple and the crowds are relatively lesser. Worth a visit.

A sleeping Vishnu on Sheshnag is not a site to be missed... The idol has been made out of a monolith and is a site you will not forget in a long time. Takes only half an hour or less. As for the kids, they can always feed the multitude of pigeons in the temple premises!

The micro takes you exactly North direction, and towards the Shivapuri National Park. The Entrance to Shivapuri National Park is another 2.5 km from this place.. There are quite... More

Beautiful lying down statue of Lord Vishnu with serpents, carved on a single stone. Its nothing to do with Buddha. It depicts that its old / ancient.
