Namaste... this is Mike from Singapore. I returned from my Langtang trekking trip last week. Trek into Thin Air is the guide who have make my trip a memorable one. The guide is very ackowledge and provided us with a lot of useful information and tips during the trip. The guide and porters are very friendly and approachable. Their presence and assistance had made us VIP for the trip, from meals order, hot bucket showers and blanket for the freezing nights. I have already recommended Trek into Thin Air to some of my friends whom have show interest to trek in Nepal.

I did 11 days Mardi Himal trekking with Suk. He arranged pickup and dropped off from Kathmandu airport is a convenient service to have incorporated with the rest of the tour. Arranged accommodations and meals are excellent for inexperience trekker. Suk spoke good English and was experienced in dealing with unexpected incidents.
When we were going back to Kathmandu on my second last day on a local Jeep car, the road was blocked by a local farm tractor. We ended up with an extra day in trekking downhills used local tracks to a nearest town to catch up with the next Jeep car. Suk was flexible with different arrangements on trips and suitable for inexperience trekkers like me. Suk told me that the mountains belong to him rather than the other way round. Therefore, trekking with a mountain man will always got the best out of the mountains. Chao~

I did a 3 week trip with Trek into Thin Air all organised by Suk. He thought through every detail of the trek and the trip to Chitwan. He ran through the itinerary in detail with us to ensure it met our needs and we knew exactly what we were doing. We had great accommodation and food each night on the Annapurna circuit; this was particularly valued as it was clear accommodation was scarce as we saw a number of other travellers turned away as the lodgings were full. The guide was excellent and ensured we were safe at all times and moved at the right pace. Having Rudra as a porter meant we were always fresh to take the photos we wanted and enjoy the amazing landscapes to the fullest.

I would fully recommend booking with Trek into Thin Air if you are going to Nepal! You will have a great time!

We travelled to Nepal knowing time was tight but with the intent of squeezing in a much as possible into 3 weeks. Trek into Thin Air helped up with the logisitics of our trip - organising transport, accommodation, TIMS and a porter whilst still allowing us the freedom we were looking for as semi-independent trekkers in the Everest Himalaya region. Their service was good value, friendly staff and the follow-up emails checking all was going ok from the team at Trek into Thin Air were reassuring.

If you are in KTM and wondering where to start or just need some help pulling the final bits of your trip together, swing by and see Mr Suk and his team.

We had a great time enjoying nature and taking awesome photos. Suk is a very good guide who has a lot of knowledge about the trek and local culture. There wasn't any communication issues as he speaks good English.
He was able to adjust to our pace and always pick really good guest house with great views.
If I were to go to Nepal again, I will definitely get Suk as my guide. :)

Trek Into Thin Air and Suk Lama are the best and only choice when you go to Himalaya. WHY? A trip to Himalaya is not just a travel or touristic expedition. It has two aspects: the first one is tangible, strictly physical, connected with your health, durability, potential danger of AMS and geographical or field conditions in heights - and for that you need a guide who knows exactly where to go and how to go. Suk Lama has taken us through Himalaya Langtang Valley safely and professionally, but probably you may find few Himalaya guides who will walk you through it safely. However, the second aspect of Himalaya trekking is the intangible one - the one of your soul, mentality and your heart. In Himalaya, while trekking in thin air, overcoming your physical limits, getting to the top of the world, you will experience new strong feelings and emotions. You will be afraid, you will suffer, you will be delighted, you will cry, you will change in a way you have never experienced. And I am sure you will not find another guide like Suk from Trek Into Thin Air. Suk Lama - an offspring of Tibetan Lamas - will not only guide you through Himalaya safely and organize everything professionally and flawlessly, but he will also guide your soul through this awesome Himalaya experience. He sees through people, he knows what each person really needs from the Himalaya trip and then he helps her/him GET IT. He is the one and only Himalaya guide of soul. I will never go into Himalaya without him.

The thing I was worried for the trip about the most was the safety of me and my friends. The trip I was for was very safe and enjoyable.

Imagine having a guide that cannot communicate with you. Oh it sucks. However, our guide was experienced and could speak in English all of us could understand. He told us stories and shared many personal experiences he had as a local. That was something not all guides can give. He was very friendly and clear in the instructions he gave.

I enjoyed the trip very much and I would surely go back to them for my second trip! :)

My friends and i had a 10 days trip to Langtang Valley Trek last month. We were in a group of 10 (include a guide and 3 porters) and had a great experience with 'Trek Into Thin Air'. Suk, our guide, was great and professional and have good sense of humor. His team took wonderful care of us as well. One of my friend was getting altitude sickness and Suk arranged one of his team member to send her down to safety zone. She got the help she needed and fully recovered. Everything is well-organized from our meal to accommodation. Suk speaks good English. during the long trekked everyday, we able to have great chat about Nepali culture, environment & even politics. We played cards in the late evening and the tiredness of trekking insignificant by the laughter and fun we had. We are like close friends and this is not i'm expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone going to Nepal, a country with beautiful scenery and wonderful people. Namaste!! =)

Ram and Suk from Trek Into Thin Air did the best to arrange a wonderful 14-day trekking around Manaslu. They arranged everything (Permits, Guide, etc) and luckily it was no problem for them to do so very spontaneously, one day before we wanted to start. We were also very content with the guide, Ghopal, who went trekking with us through the breathtaking national park of Manaslu. He spoke excellent English and was a great help, for example with getting in touch with local people or explaining nature and Nepali culture to us. Even after our trekking tour, Trek into Thin Air, were eager to help us, suggesting things to do in Kathmandu and trying to make out of some days in Nepal my best holidays so far. Thanks a lot, we will definitely come back!
