As a professional within the outdoor recreation industry in the U.S. I am constantly in search of outdoor companies abroad that uphold to the safety standards that are represented in America. Given the safety of my family it is a priority when choosing an adventure. Hardcore Nepal owner and operator Ramesh B.K. was a brilliant guide who has sought training within the U.S. and holds some of the same certifications that make American guides some of the best in the world. I was extremely impressed with his technical skills within his rock climbing and whitewater adventures. Ramesh has trained his guides to the same safety standards that make his company one not to be missed. As a plus the company is a family run business with the ability to offer their clients the details of dependability, honesty and genuine fun that you would expect while on a family vacation. I look forward to hiring Hardcore Nepal in the near future for some mountaineering on some Himalayan peaks! Thanks Hardcore Nepal for providing my family with the spirit of adventure that you do so well!

My friend and I booked a 2 day tour with Prabin and we enjoyed every minute. The rafting was a great experience and quite organized- the camping could be considered “glamping” and had a wonderful variety for lunch and breakfast. We were even spoiled at the resort with a bonfire on the river and fresh BBQ chicken. Prabin was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the rappelling and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Thanks again Prabin!

I went on the 3 day rafting, canyoning, climbing and caving trip in July.
Was excellent fun with our guides Prabin and (forgot the other guys name)
Rafting was half day which was good, the canyoning was superb and took most of the 2nd day. Climbing and caving was okay but by the third day I was so tired.
We stayed and ate in local places which made the experience more authentic. we even got drunk on home made rice wine one night at the bamboo lodge!
The only detraction was the use of public transport to get back from the little village we spent the last day. 8 hours on that highway road in that cramped little thing was testing after 3 hard days of activity

I'm not the most athletic person in the world at all, but the patient, friendly guides were really experienced and helped me learn quickly. We made fast friends and they made sure I had an awesome time climbing. I definitely want to recommend this company to anyone visiting Nepal.

In november 2011 I followed a 3-day Canyoning-course with Hardocre Nepal. Besides the fact that they were really professional (Lead-guide Ramesh speaks very good english) I had a blast. Fun times/ fun experience.
Would defininetly recommend this one. Company is located in Thamel (tourist district Kathmandu) on the first floor. Not easy to find - ask around !

I went with two instructors from Hardcore Nepal to a rockclimbing spot just outside of the city Centre and had a truly excellent time. Not only were the instructors patient and helpful, really contributing to improving my skill, but they were also great fun and I had such a lovely time meeting them. They really do go above and beyond (sometimes free climbing to give tips!) and do their very best to ensure that you have a fun time.
If you are going rockclimbing in Nepal, you should definitely go with this company - they are professional, skilled and fantastic instructors.
