Great adventure, had a three day cannyoning, climbing and caving trip. The guides Santos and Prabin have realized three great holidays, have explained everything we wanted to know, be it climbing and securing or caving. In the evening we had great fun and got an insight into the "local live" The food in the accommodation was great, we enjoyed the three days

We had a great time with Hardcore Nepal in October 2019! We took the 4-days rock climbing clinic near Kathmandu in Nagarjun National Park. Our lead instructor, Prabin Kumal, was really great, fun, patient and very clear in his instructions and lessons. Prabin taught us during 4 days all we need to learn to practice outdoor rock climbing : - making all the knots you need to learn - how to prepare and use all your climbing gear - top climbing and lead climbing (in particular how to use quickdraws, belay the lead climber, etc) - how to climb long routes with several sections (in particular how to belay from the top, and then start to climb a new section of the route from an anchor) - how to make and clean an anchor - how to abseil yourself (with and without blocking knots such as Prusik). When we started the clinic, we had about 3 months of rock-climbing practice but only indoor. It was our first experience of outdoor rock climbing with Prabin and we can only recommend the clinic if you are a beginner or if you already have some practice indoor but with little experience and knowledge of outdoor climbing. The training is also very safe. Prabin has more than 7 years of experience in rock climbing and was trained by US instructors. Hardcore Nepal only uses very reliable, genuine and safe rock climbing gear from the main brands of the market (Petzl, Black Diamond, etc) The rock climbing location is also very safe and has been secured by a Nepalese Mountaineering association using expansion bolts (permanent pythons) in the rock. The cliffs are great to learn rock climbing and have adequate difficulty levels (from 4b/c until 5c+ in the French grading system) for beginners.

Had an excellent time with Prabin and Santosh. I was traveling alone and they were very accomodating with what I wanted to do. I had two days where I wanted to do outdoor activities and asked Prabin for recommendations. They were flexible in adjusting the itinerary based on the weather and what I wanted to do. It was definitely scary canyoning for the first time not knowing what to expect, but I was confident with the two guides leading the way. Loved the beautiful views during the activities. It was just sad how there were plastic bottles and garbage in some areas, not a reflection of the company though, just something to get used to. Both activities were hardcore, yet doable enough for a beginner like me (little bit of climbing experience). They were great in choosing locations to accommodate my skill level. The food and the accommodation was a plus. It was nice to be outside of the polluted city and stay in a cottage on top of a hill with a great view which I didn't expect. In general, I had great customer service and felt like I got a personalized experience. You don't often get this type of hospitality in North America. I was only in Nepal for under four days just in transit before going home, so I wasn't expecting to do much. My schedule for those two days were pretty flexible, so I was open to going with the flow, but for anyone who likes to have a more rigid plan, I don't think they would run into any trouble as long as they communicate what they want ahead of time.

I booked the 2 day whitewater rafting and cave rappelling trip as a birthday surprise to my boyfriend- said it was the best birthday present he’s ever gotten! The rafting the first day was excellent. The guides were thorough with safety precautions and created a fun atmosphere for the two of us and the other tourists in our group. Lunch was delicious! Prabin was our cave rappelling guide and personally escorted us from the rafting to the lodge where we stayed at overnight before caving in the morning. He and the lodge owners were super hospitable and took great care of us and were so fun to chat and eat dinner with in the evening. The caving the next day was incredible! Prabin did an amazing job making sure that the experience was both fun and intriguing for my experienced rappeller/rock climber boyfriend and comfortable and easy for me, a nervous first timer. We both had an unforgettable experience and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Nepal! You must book a Hardcore Nepal trip, even a day trip if you’re pressed for time, if you are a rock climber, love water sports, or want to see more of Nepal’s outdoors.

My wife and I signed up for the 3 day trip which was a lot of fun. We have the most experience in rock climbing prior to the trip and was great to climb outdoors. The canyoning and caving trips were new to us but our guides Prabin and Santosh were excellent teachers in having us learn new techniques required for the activities. As a bonus, we got an impromptu hands-on cooking class at the hotel which was a lot of fun. The whole weekend felt like we were out with a "friend of a friend" and not just clients which we both enjoyed.
