I am a 67 year old, 5 continent toured, 35 countries ridden, third lap around the world Rider posting because I experienced Nirvana riding in Nepal. Parikrama Treks, Kumar and daughter, Sushi Basnet provided an ultimate riding experience. I scheduled the Nepal Upper Mustang Tour with Parikrama Treks March 31 2022 to April 14 2022. From the moment I saw Kumar smiling and waving at Kathmandu International after more than 5 hours of flight delays to Sushi dropping a beautiful Lei around my neck their happiness and professionalism were oustanding. Final payment and bike introduction were handled smoothly with no surprises. Trip was scheduled for 5 riders. Two members of a group were injured and all 4 cancelled days before the tour start. Kumar and crew adapted flawlessly. The tour was altered to Road Captain Anup and myself. We left as scheduled and the tour ran absolutely smoothly. On the fly adjustments and bonus rides happened as if previously planned. A side trip in Muktinath to the 108 Fountains was spectacular. Anup's knowledge of the terrain and ethnic groups in Nepal was exteremely informative. We arrived in Pokhara early and Anup arranged a trip to the International Mountain Museum. Highly recommend visiting very interesting history. Final night's dinner was an added bonus with Kumar's son Sujan. Ethnic food and dancers. Excellent! I highly recommend Parikrama Treks. Kumar, Sushi and Sujan as a top of the line Touring and Trekking Company. Anup is a perfect riding guide and partner, capable, energetic, friendly and happy. One of the best I have ridden with!! I came as a stranger. I left as a friend. I look forward to riding the North Everest Base Camp Tour when the Tibetan border opens.

The pioneer in motorcycle tours in Nepal with over 20yrs of experience surely did not disappoint! Even though some other riders postponed their trip, Kumar & Sujan still gavve us full VIP treatment! top notch bikes, mechanics made sure they’re in good running condition each day.
foreigners need not worry booking directly with Kumar and save a ton of money. itenerary os flexible to suit your needs. worry free from start to end.
Sujan is not only your motorcycle lead man but also our tour guide & drinking buddy! whether driving through the city of Kathmandu or the rough roads of lower mustang, you can count on his team!
looking forward to bring my family on the next Himalayan adventure

This has been one of the best experiences of our lives. We traveled with my husband and our 16-year-old son, the truth is that everything was excellent...
We took the Everest Base Camp tour and our guide was Surya Rai. Kumar always worried that we were well and together with the guide they solved everything to make the trip more pleasant for us. The truth is that I recommend it 100%, what I liked the most is that it is very flexible and adapts to what you want.

I am saddened to be writing this however I feel that potential travelers should be aware of the extortion we had to suffer with this company. Due to Covid we had no choice but to not travel to Bhutan and Nepal, They gave us the option of cancellation or suspension. We elected not to go as it was a group and others were unsure about future plans. I made the company aware that we intended to go again but due to uncertainty around viability of this company with Covids impact and the length of time before we could go again we were left with no choice but to not go.
All other providers fully refunded us even providers who had a no refund policy at booking stge. This included all airlines and accommodation providers both big and small, This firm left us no choice but to accept the cancellation policy charge of 30%. Our tour costs were around $7000 Aus per couple totaling around $28000. Charge

Surely pure rip off …. never again .

I don't normally take time to write reviews, but this time, I just had to. The trip was everything I could have ever asked for. From the warm welcome Kumar gave us at the airport, to the long and beautiful scenes off the beaten path, to the memorable drinking and storytelling sessions with Sujan off-hours, and most especially to the truly authentic Nepal experience of getting to know locals and their lives, it was all perfect! I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you decide to avail of their services, afterall they've been doing this for 20+ years as pioneers of this industry. Imagine, several of our supposed-to-be companions (a separate group from ours) cancelled on them but they didn't cancel or postpone on us. Often, they would go out of their way to cater to our wants and needs. Caring and thoughtful every step of the way, our bikes were always prepped and ready for takeoff. Very thorough and professional!

I am with Parikrama Treks & Expedition for the second time.
The first time was 3 years ago, when with their help I managed to make the tour around the holy Kailash.
This year, thanks to them, I was able to go to the base camp of Everest, Kalapatar, Chola Pass and Gokyo Lakes.
The organization in both trecks was perfect, the guides - professional and dedicated. In both cases, the programs were fully implemented.
I would like to thank Mr. Kumar and his team for the trust and dedication with which they treat their clients.
I also want to thank Surya - my faithful guide, who helped me make this difficult treck.
If there is a trekking company in Nepal that you can count on, this is definitely Parikrama Treks & Expedition.
Their programs are wonderful and inspiring, for every taste and preference.
I would be very happy to travel with Parikrama track in the future.

Thank you Parikrama Treks & Expedition for making my Dreams come true.

Looking forward to our next adventure together!

Sincerely yours

Lora

Completed in Sept 2013. A great tour covering all the locations you would want, and more.

The Royal Enfield's surprisingly held up very well over the tough terrain and were serviced daily by the support crew (consisting of guide, driver and mechanic).

The company owner, Mr Basnet, was very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with.

My name is Natalia, I went to trip to mt Kailash. It was 12 day trip and i really enjoyed it. Organization by "Parikrama treks" was flawless. We had 2 Sherpa guys who took care of all our meals and luggage. They are really put there heart in what they do and meals were very delishious. This trip is hard one due to weather conditions and pure infrastructure through Tibet. That's why I was so glad that I had such a good organization and crew. Mr. Kumar went on this trip with us and he did all possible to take care of group and accomodate us best way possible. I had great experience and would use "Paricrama Treks" service again.

Hi my Name is Max, I was in Nepal from the 3rd till the 20th of April this year to make my first trekking in Nepal.I did decided for the annapurna round trek and it worth every penny spend on it. The whole organisation of the trip has been made by parikrama treks and has been fantastic. Mr. Basnet the GM has been in contact with me since first meet on line for enquires about the trip, his experience as international guide in Nepal is pair to none. All the bookings and fees (Trekking visa, lodges, guide, flight tickets) has been organised very well and in such professional way. The company is very reliable and respected in Kathmandu area and does provide any kind of service and trip itineraries. My guide Thomas has been just fantastic for the whole trek always present and very careful but never intrusive. I would recommend the Parikrama to anybody who wants the best service at a reasonable price and the courtesy and kindness of all the staff just make you spellbound! Than enjoy Nepal as I did....Namaste'!

I've just completed (Sept 2013) my trip of a life time. Touring with Parikrama Tours from Kathmandu to Lhasa and back, riding via Mt.Everest base camp. With only 3 riders the group was small but ideal. Apart from day one when it rained the weather was perfect. Our support crew was exceptional, with all the tiring Chinese checkpoints which the guide got us through as quick as possible. Every morning and night the mechanic checked / serviced the bikes. With only a couple of minor breakdowns, the bikes performed very well for the conditions.
The trip to EBC was on rough, dusty gravel road of about 160km round trip in length, easily accomplished by a skilled rider. The rest of the roads throughout Tibet were of good to excellent standard. It was a fantastic trip but be prepared for some cold mornings, <8c, with snow covered mountain passes and wondering Yaks and dogs on the roads. Awesome trip with a excellent touring company. Thank you Basnet
