Occasionally, I consider just booking my own trip without using a tour company, but now I understand the importance of a good tour company. We were supposed to tour Bhutan and Nepal in March 2020. Binayak with Breakfree was able to adjust our schedule several times prior to our trip as we were travelling to other countries first and had conflicts with airline travel. The day before we arrived in Kathmandu for our flight onward to Bhutan, Bhutan shut its borders due to coronavirus. Binayak met us personally at the airport to discuss how to proceed as I had not signed into my email the day before, so I did not know. He was able to totally rearrange the trip to be entirely in Nepal without us having any inactive days. After all the rearranging, we had to leave the country prematurely due to India, our only remaining route home to the United States, closing its borders to tourists not already in country. Binayak was able to cancel the remaining trip which he had worked so hard to make with just one email. Did I mention we were not his only tourists who were supposed to be in Bhutan? This is the tour company you want when things do not go as planned!
The Kathmandu UNESCO site tour was amazing! The guide not only speaks excellent English, but has a master's degree in tourism and is able to answer nearly every question you can ask about Nepal and its people.

We did the UNESCO sites tour from Kathmandu. Dipesh and our driver were friendly and offered great service! Dipesh gave us excellent information about the places, culture and religions relevant to the four major sites. We had as much time as we needed to absorb everything around us and the day was completely easy to relax and enjoy! It is well-worth booking this door to door service and we highly recommend it to fellow travellers

It was my first time in Kathmandu, Nepal. I only had a few days and wanted to make the most of it. I booked 3 tours through Breakfree Adventures with Mr. Bharat who was very prompt in his replies, courteous and helpful in arranging my requested trips in and around Kathmandu. I chose to do the following tours - (Tour 1.) Tour of 7 UNESCO heritage sites. (Tour 2.) Everest Mountain Flight. (Tour 3.) Namo Buddha Day Hike. All three experiences were incredible, more than what I expected and very well organised! My guide, Madan, was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the religious history and religious significance of the various temples, shrines and stupas along with various facts on the history of Nepal. I could not have asked for a better guide! My three days of selected tours in Kathmandu were made so special by Breakfree Adventures with a fantastic authentic Nepalese dinner arranged by Mr. Bharat to end my stay in Kathmandu. Needless to say, I will certainly be back for more adventures!! I would highly recommend Breakfree Adventures to anyone looking to explore Nepal! We did the UNESCO Heritage tour in Kathmandu- the tour was excellent.
Our guide’s name was Dipesh, he was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. I would highly recommend the tour and our guide Dipesh to anyone who is interested in this type of tour.

What a wonderful team. They looked after me and 5 amigos for 2 weeks in November 2022 whilst we shared a mid life crisis in Nepal. They delivered a custom package including time in Kathmandu, 8 days trekking, 2 days whitewater rafting and a last minute helicopter trip to Everest Base Camp. They looked after us every step of our holiday and were friendly, knowledgable and made sure everything went to plan. Great team cant recommend them highly enough.

We booked our entire trip Nepal with Breakfree Adventures through a recommendation from a friend. Zero regrets! From start to finish, this company were amazing. During our trip we stayed in Kathmandu and Pokhara, had a mountain flight over the Himalayas and Mount Everest, sunrise tour at Sarangkot, paragliding over the mountains, Australian Base Camp hike and sightseeing tours in the cities. All trips were organised by the company which eliminated any stress for us - we were able to sit back and enjoy the amazing things this place has to offer. Hotels were lovely, staff were amazing and the tour guides and drivers who met us during our stay were friendly, helpful, flexible and very knowledgeable on the history and monuments within Nepal. Big shout out to Moti who was a fantastic and patient guide! Bharat met us for a drink one night which was great as we were able to get to know him and he could recommend where to visit on our next trip. An amazing holiday in a beautiful place thanks to Breakfree Adventures.

Our guide, Subash, was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the sites, but also the broader history and cultural context of the temples we visited and Kathmandu in general. I felt like I had a crash review of my Hindu mysticism and Buddhism university courses, and saw them come to life in front of me!
I recommend easily removable shoes, and a mask for the last site (they burn pyres there). You’re guide will tell you everything else you need to know :)

Great trip to the Himalayan viewing station in Nagarkot and then to historic Bhaktapur. There were some clouds but we still managed to get amazing views of the mountains. Bhaktapur is definitely worth a visit. Our guide Diman was great from start to finish very friendly and knowledgeable about all the temples and historic monuments in the city. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Our tour to the Durbar Squares of Patan and Bhaktapur with our guide Bidhya was great. We learned a lot about the history and the culture of Nepal and still had time to explore on our own and to take lots of pictures. Lunch in a rooftop restaurant in Bhaktapur was excellent and Bidhya changed the tour a little bit so we could see even more of the ancient City. Would definitely recommend this tour and Bidhya as a guide.

Yes, 10 days hike to Everest Base Camp is possible but without the Kathmandu nights i.e. only the trekking section which will be fly in Lukla from Kathmandu on day 01, trek to EBC and finish it all and fly back to Kathmandu on day 10.
