NEPAL 2024 - Amazing

From the moment we booked until the moment we arrived back at home, NEPAL Treks and Tours made our trip extra special. It is clear that Saran (Managing Director) and his team aim to please. Every question we had was answered quickly. Every request we had was accommodated. And even our own goof-ups were managed with a high degree of customer service.
Our itinerary included a day long walking tour of Kathmandu with Santosh - an expert guide who educated us on the temples, practices, places and customs. Then we ventured off for a 4.5 day trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Our stay in tea houses was all new and we were prepared. Nilan, our expert guide, and Bhoj, our porter, ensured our safety and inspired us when going up and up and up some more. To hike up to Poonhill at 4:30am to see a stunning sunrise (and a coffee kiosk lol) was a highlight. So were the tea houses that had a central heating wood-burning stove. This is where we met locals and so many international people.Adjusting to the food choices was easy and despite the menus being the same the food prep was not. Every day we learned from our guide and from the experiences we were having. These memories are already dear. We completed our journey with time in Pokhara (great shopping and cultural activities) and Chitwan National Park. We saw the Bengal tigers! Our local guide, Mahendra, was so knowledgeable.
At 71 and 67 years old we are proud of what we accomplished with the help of NEPAL Treks and Tours. Book your trip and enjoy the journey.

I went on a trip with 3 friends, we only had the plane ticket and a draft itinerary.
We wanted to do an unusual Nepal, because we were not only interested in trekking but also in visiting the cities, discovering the culture and living an experience in a Buddhist monastery, in direct contact with the monks.
I searched online and asked many agencies, this agency struck me with its excellent reviews, so I decided to write to it among the many I found online.
Saran, the owner, responded to me immediately and immediately impressed me with his kindness and helpfulness from the first email we exchanged.
He was so kind that he even gave us a to do list of what to pack based on the weather and we always stayed in touch with him and his assistant Bikki! They welcomed us and treated us like princesses!
Everything was organized perfectly, down to the smallest detail and the hotels they chose were excellent!
We did this tour spending 10 days with one of the tour guides who collaborate with the agency, and we also had a driver always with us ready to satisfy all our needs!
We visited unusual places (a Tibetan refugee leader, a Buddhist monastery, a paper factory, authentic villages, we even witnessed how they make pottery!)
We felt at home and made a wonderful friendship with all the staff!
Saron and his assistant were always available on What's App during the tour and were concerned by writing to us if everything was to our satisfaction!
Just think that during the tour we asked if it was possible to visit a school, and once we returned to Kathmandu Saran took us with him to visit a school where 10 children whose studies are subsidized by the agency study!
At the end of the tour they gave us a souvenir certificate of the experience and a dinner show offered by them, in Kathmandu, where we witnessed typical Nepalese dances and songs!
They were exceptional. Soron is a wonderful person, with a huge heart and it shows in everything he does.
Believe it, my two friends and I are not easy at all, to get a top score from us, you have to be truly special. And they were.
Ps in addition to having an excellent quality of service, the prices are super affordable!

Amazing Two Week Tour in Nepal

My husband and I did this trip for our honeymoon. Sharan and Bikki were both amazing and were willing to customize our trip for us, even once we were there. As the name of the tour would suggest, we had an amazing two week tour in Nepal. This itinerary has a little bit of everything for everyone: a little bit of trekking, a safari, some sightseeing, some adventure (rafting). They both seemed genuinly happy to be hosting us in their country. Sharan also seemed like he knew every tour provider and hotel and airline manager in the country and did not hesitate to use his connections to help make our trip smooth and memorable and help us score some disocunts. Our Kathmandu guide Sumit was also fantastic. He was so knowledgeable, had great enthusiasm to show us around his city, and provided us with a great first taste of the country.

Highly recommended agency for the Manaslu!

We would highly recommend Nepal Treks and Tour! The price was really fair for the value they gave. Everything is greatly arranged with the food, teahouses, transport, preparation, backpacks and the guide. The owner and the guidd were also communicative, flexible, transparent and attentive. They also gave me (after asking) an extra portion of breakfast since one portion wasn't enough for me in the Himalaya (1.95m long).

A Majestic Journey with Exceptional Guide.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek with Nepal Treks and Tours was an unforgettable adventure that exceeded all my expectations. From the arrival in Pokhara until the end of trek, professionalism and expertise of my guide, Kumar ensured a seamless and enriching experience.

Kumar was not just a guide but a true companion throughout the journey. His extensive knowledge of the local terrain, his infectious positivity and warm personality added greatly to the whole experience.
He effortlessly navigated me through the rugged trails, always ensuring safety and well-being.
From well-planned itinerary to the comfortable accommodations and delicious meals along the way, every aspect of the trek was meticulously arranged.

Overall, the Annapurna Base Camp trek was an enriching and transformative experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking an adventure of a lifetime in the heart of the Himalayas.

SCAMMERS/THEIVES, DO NOT RECOMMEND

I can’t believe the other reviews for this company are real. I purchased a voucher for this company to trek from Travelzoo. What I got was a complete scam and a creepy guy trying to force me to stay in a hotel where I was not comfortable. I had to email for every piece of information and was not given an itinerary to know when I was meeting the guide, group, or to do a gear check. I was dropped off at a hotel at 3am. It was so bad I booked myself at another hotel and left at sunrise 3 hours later. I was then sent a message that a worker went to the hotel to find me (was not told to expect anyone, as I was never given any information) and he was mad AT ME for leaving because he went there and I was gone. When I told him I was happier at my new place he basically told me I had to go back to the other hotel. I tried to move and ask other questions about when to meet he was very vague, responding ‘sometime in the afternoon or evening’ (not helpful, trying to plan my day in Kathmandu) and then avoided answering any questions about how many other people I’d be trekking with. When I asked the same questions again he told me to go to sleep because I was tired (excuse me?) and then he finally admitted I’d be the only one with the guide and porter. It wouldn’t have been an issue but at this point everything felt so suspicious and shady I no longer wanted to work with the company. The boss/owner contacted me and said they would not refund me, but he would allow me to keep my flight reservation to Lukla but everything else would be cancelled. The worker sent me the flight info and confirmed the flight would not be cancelled. When I arrived to the airport a day later, they had changed the name on the ticket. When I contacted him, he was quite proud of how he had screwed me over and acknowldged he changed the name on the ticket. Although everything in the moment was very stressful, at least I figured out they were untrustworthy and had horrible customer service before I put my life in their hands to trek with them. Not to mention, I still question if it’s even a legit company. Do yourself a favor and do not get scammed by this ‘company’! There are so many other quality companies to chose from.

The reviews are real because our clients have seen our service and they know how we work to make every arrangement for them. Our previous customers from Travel Zoo know our work and our reviews are of our customers after they finish their tour program. The thing about transferring you to another hotel was because you did not like it and it was our responsibility to make the accommodation arrangements for you which you refused to do. The hotel dropping was also because of your flight schedule which I believe you also mentioned got delayed at 1: 30 Am which is like midnight. The hotel was full of other people as well because this was the peak season and there will be other customers as well. No other customers have said anything about the hotel so far. One of our company team members was supposed to meet you and discuss the further trip and when he got to the hotel he was informed by the hotel that your customer named Erika has left the hotel and move to another hotel for which he was not mad but was worried where you might have left without informing and what problems may have occurred. He requested that if this the current hotel which you didn't like then we can make arrangement with another hotel for you which was on our company but you went on to stay for a more expensive hotel making a loss for our company. Every conversation from the start with you was going good from the moment you bought those vouchers and sent us the mail we did respond to it immediately and did have a good conversation and we did mention the tours and all. Likewise, you booked this private tour for yourself and you thought this was a group joining tour which you also didn't mention in our past mail conversation, and all of a sudden when you arrived here for your tour you were looking for your groups. We did have other fellow trekkers doing this tour but not on your particular travel date if we had then we would for sure definitely make some arrangements for you. But you were so harsh and not ready to listen and meet and talk about it to make it clear. Everything was fully booked and arranged from the flight tickets, Kathmandu Valley sightseeing, the guide and the porter the permits, sleeping bags, and duffle bags for the trip but you canceled it without any notice or information. You said that you had a long flight you were tired exhausted and hadn't slept well so that's why we wanted to make sure you were well relaxed first and then we can go on discussing about the tour program. Looking at all our emails and conversation everything was going along you just turned downed everything a day before of the tour. You told us that you didn't want to do this tour at the last moment so we had to cancel everything I believe we did mention to you about your flight tickets also getting canceled we did inform you about your tour being canceled because you didn't want to and we also did mention you about getting a refund by the company policy. And to answer your question we are a legally registered trekking company with experience and professionals in our respective fields of work. Our other reviews speak for themselves we don't fake or scam our clients, guests, or customers. Also, you only attached the screenshot of the WhatsApp chat from in-between our conversation where only you look the right one We have been notified that the refund has been made to you so we kindly request you to stop making these false accuses on us hampering our work Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, We take customer feedback very seriously.

ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME

This was the most amazing experience. The scenery was truly breath taking. Saran welcomed us as though we were family and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable along our journey. I could not recommend Saran enough and thank him for making our time in Nepal AMAZING. Nepal is such a magical place and I can not wait to get back there to do some more exploring.

First time we visited Nepal.
The family of 4, decided to hike Mardi Himal. Nepal trek and tours offered these to us.
1. Good price, itemise prices and other prices, we paid the Tea House owner based on our own chosen Tea House.
2. The Guide, Nilan is professional, followed our slow pace and always looked after my two teenage boys and my wife.

Luckily we have this good company and Nilan, we really enjoyed the whole tour.
